Avoid if Coeliac or Gluten free! Asked if their hot chocolate was gluten free and the response was ‘no, don’t think so’ in a way that made me feel very awkward and obvious that they weren’t going to find out. Young girl behind the counter was then witnessed to roll her eyes at me too! Not a very inclusive place at all!

We arrived late in the afternoon and found that lots of the coffee shops were closing. We asked and the waitress kindly agreed to serve us. So glad she did as we enjoyed delicious local coffee in our cappuccinos and a slice each of Victoria sponge and Jaffa cake. Our doggie was welcome too and she enjoyed a hand baked treat. Lovely staff in this independent coffee shop. Definitely would return if in the area.

Lovely little place on the high street with tables outside. We ordered 2 cream teas, a coffee and a milkshake. The staff were lovely. Milkshake was one of the nicest I’ve had. But oh dear the scones! They were served with jam and cream which wasn’t enough but they were so hard they were inedible. I don’t know if they were stale or just badly cooked. We visited with our dog who will eat anything even she wouldn’t touch them. Such a shame as it let the whole visit down.

Greeted my a miserable lady behind the counter who looked unkept. The coffee was weak and watery and sold in mismatched mugs, where the same coffee cane in different quantity depending on what mug you had. Bleak atmosphere and dry cake. Won't be returning. The coffee is not batista coffee, it's like camp coffee!

**AVOID IF VEGETARIAN** I recently went for a quick lunch at the Gaff with my husband and his family. I ordered a cheese sandwich which was served to me with chunks of ham all over it. Presumably the sandwich had been cut with the same knife used to cut a ham sandwich or their sandwich toaster is not being cleaned. Not only then was a vegetarian sandwich served with meat on it, I also happen to be Muslim and so am unable to eat pork. Unfortunately I had taken several bites of my sandwich before I realized there were chunks of pork on it. The Gaff refunded my sandwich, but didn’t even apologize for the mistake. Obviously this mistake ruined everyone’s lunch and made us all feel quite uncomfortable. I think this is wholly inadequate service - we all make mistakes, but it’s about how you handle them once they have been made. I have since called the Gaff to speak about this and they have refused to speak to me about the mistake. This also calls into question the food hygiene measures in place at the Gaff, which are presumably non-existent.

We visited Abergavenny yesterday after being away 10 years and went into The Gaff as it was the easiest to access with my wheelchair . The staff could not have been friendlier and The food was FABULOUS . I would recommend the toasted sandwiches I don’t know what bread the use but it’s like a brioche and is lovely . I then had an Abergavenny Bun which was amazing and I will be back to have another even though it’s a two hour drive.

We was looking for a place to stop for lunch that was an independent coffee shop & stumbled across this gorgeous little cafe & deli, the food was outstanding so tasty and fresh had savoury pasty that was so light & delicate it almost melted in your mouth & slices of the banana & choc chip loaf was delicious light & fluffy & all great portion sizes. Coffee was served in lovely mugs and coffee itself was as of great quality. Not your bog standard coffee shop, owners actually care about ingredients and quality standards and all at a great price, we will most definitely be returning.

Visited today and had a delightful lunch. Had the lamb pie and pasty and bought an extra couple of nibbles from the deli to go with it. Wine was fabulous. To finish Victoria Sponge which was very good and great coffee. Very good quality food at a reasonable price. Will be back as soon as we visit the area again. Thank you.

Delicious food and drink which isn’t your run of the mill lunch menu. We had sausage and rarebit roll which was absolutely epic (in size and flavour!). Not sure we needed two…ha. The Abergavenny bun was so good - definitely try it. It’s a pastry stuffed with chocolate and fruit (raisins?). Drinks-wise, we had a mango and pineapple smoothie and a Biscoff iced latte - both very good. They also go toasties, pasties, doughnuts… There’s also a shop in the cafe with loads of tempting bits, unusual ingredients etc.

A really lovely little place to stop for a coffee and either sit outside and watch the world go by or go in and sample the amazing savouries or home made cakes that are on offer. The staff are really friendly and easy to talk to. They also offer a book swap so it makes sense to stay for a while and have a read. It’s magic.

This is such a lovely deli/coffee shop! The staff as very friendly and are very knowledgable about their products. I love the fact that they use local companies and products. I’ve visited a few times but I’m yet to come in now the new restrictions have eased and I’m looking forward to sitting in and have a coffee and read my book! They’ve recently introduced a book exchange which I find very appealing! I’d definitely recommend this coffee shop if you’re in Abergavenny and fancy a chilled atmosphere with your cuppa.

Had a day out in St Andrew's on Saturday 11th May as it was a lovely day,so we pop in kinnettles Hotel for a few drinks. As there's outdoor sitting on the pavement so we get a table outside. As it was very hot day my friend took off his T-shirt,staff take our order with no issued at all didn't even mentioned or bothered about his not wearing a T-shirt. After our forth rounds of drinks, this man passed our table bend over to my friend in a impolite bad mannered way and tell him in my Hotel you can't dress like that and he walk away.We where shocking even other guests having a drinks think he was rude. I pointed out to the staff and she tell me not to worry about it, we didn't have a problem plus you guys where sitting outside. The Owner should know better how to talk to Guests he was so unprofessional, and we will not be going back.

I was traveling down south through Frome and stopped here a bit late in the evening. I was quiet lost with finding out everything I needed for the next day. I was given plenty of information and help. The owner of this pub is an absolute Gentleman, The pub atmosphere is very friendly concidering its a small area and many lsmaller areas are not favorable to strangers. I'm looking forward to going back again.
