I was with a group of 8 girls on a hen weekend and we called in here for cocktails on Saturday. Great place, which has an extensive list of cocktails and very friendly chap behind the bar who was a whizz with a cocktail shaker! Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely building nice atmosphere lovely wines even if it was a little expensive The problem was the staff For goodness sake I’ve just paid £13 for two drinks give me a smile Asked for a bar mat They answered no we don’t have them but never gave me anything to wipe the wet table So I went to get toilet roll only to find black napkins on the bar when I went to get another drink why wasn’t these offered to me I honestly felt I was putting the staff out asking for a drink hence why I never tipped All the bar staff get tips around Liverpool and rely on them and work very hard for them but no tips today sorry you don’t deserve it

The Futurist is a really nice bar in the heart of the shopping area of Liverpool City Centre, formally The Beehive Pub,a pub I loved visiting for many years until it closed and The Futurist sprung up . I must say I like the look of this bar,its swanky, stylish decor and furnishings, multiple tv screens and lots of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Paradise Street. We were here on a dull and rainy July afternoon, our summers are magnificent aren't they, we ordered pints of beer from Birra Moretti Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. A big fan of this most famous of Italian beers, a golden, slightly malty beer, well balanced, well crafted ,hints of caramel, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a smooth finish, a classic Italian beer indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Futurist we had a great time. The Futurist is easy to locate along Paradise Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Well done Liverpool! Following in the footsteps of York and totally ruining a historic and beautiful old pub. Once filled with people who were interested in its association with the Cameo murder, it has become a pricey, bland, uninteresting any town bar. What a big mistake!

Quite an upmarket place since the refurbishment. A bit over the top in places and pricey, but very comfortable and clean.

Have been to this pub many times when it was called The Beehive. Now completely renovated and rebranded. Unfortunately the prices are now shocking. £13 for 2 drinks, £7.50 in Wetherspoons. Won't be returning

Visited The Futurist that was once The Beehive Pub and I must say I had mixed emotions, the new bar looks great and it's cool but I loved The Beehive Pub ,had a lot of great times in there. The Futurist itself looks superb ,the interior is superb ,shiny and new ,a great positioned serving bar in the middle of the bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,loved the old cinema reels there's tv's to enjoy the sport ,music or films being shown ,there's even mini tv's in the booth seating area's ,there's a great outside seating area that's lovely ,all in all it's a great bar to chill out in . We were here on a Thursday afternoon ,a quick study of their beer selection ,which it must say is impressive ,in the end my twin brother Stephen and I opted to have Birra Moretti ,these Italian beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling ,we grabbed a booth table were we sipped our beers and watch a bit of the film Jaws. A big fan of this famous Italian beer ,malty ,golden ,hoppy ,a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish ,it's just a great beer to enjoy when it's served freezing cold as in this bar. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to The Futurist we had a great time. The Futurist is easy to locate along Paradise Street, one of the main shopping area's of Liverpool. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Futurist on Paradise street is a brilliant pub that offer's a fantastic food and drinks range and was one of the many pubs/bars and restaurants we visited in Liverpool city centre.Formerly the Beehive'a fantastic old school pub'the Futurist has a fantastic look and feel with an amazing upmarket interior with superb decor and furnishings and lots of good seating options. This fantastic pub is totally unrecognisable from the Beehive that stood here before as it has a brilliant movie themed interior. With many movie related fixtures throughout it's whole interior and many TV screens dotted throughout the pub's interior. We visited the Futurist on a roasting hot day and all of it's outside terrace was full so we sat in one of there booths and had a few beers. The beers we had when we went here were Birra Moretti brewery pale ale's which were served iced cold and were price wise on a par with other pubs and bars we went to in the city centre. This is a superb pub with an excellent range of craft beer's and is worth visiting if your in this area of the city centre of Liverpool. (This is my first review of the Futurist). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-09.00-22.30. Friday-Sunday-09.00-23.30.

Horrendous food. We ordered mixed grill and rump steak even after asking how we wanted it cooking it came out over well done. Felt sorry for the guy on the till he was ok. But who ever is in the kitchen needs to hang up there frying pan and go and find a job a a crematorium. Also CCTV in the men's toilets. Pictures added was meant to be gammon steak 🥩
