Waited in quee to get served barmaid seen me served someone else before me rude Staff there they want get better Staff behind the bar .

Tried to order food and a drink, but continually passed over for other customers, so just walked out and went elsewhere. Staff are in need of training in bar service. Won’t be back.

Lovely atmospheric old picture house given the Wetherspoons treatment. Nicely laid out on different levels. Great selection of drinks, the ales were superb & so was the food. Would've give 5* but the app played up , so eventually had to do it the old fashioned way & queue at the bar.

Food is better here than in some 'Spoons. The beer range is standard for the group. Beer events are occasionally organised. The next one is mid December 2023. Details on the pub's facebook page. We visited on the first day of the Christmas beer festival and there wasn't a single Christmas beer being sold in the afternoon.

Good food each time for what it is. Staff here are quick and friendly and make it more Accessible for disabled customers by bringing all equipment with the mug (and filling with hot water etc). Food took less than 10 mins to arrive and it was incredibly busy, excellent on all fronts x

It's a wetherspoon, good value beer and food. Staff not fantastic but you know what you're getting. Lots of space and a beautiful old cinema building. Use the app for ordering, less likely for anything to go wrong

Great as usual, friendly staff, always busy, good atmosphere, nice place to go to chat as there’s no loud music, food is always quick and much better quality than most much more expensive restaurants! Did I forget to mention the ridiculously cheap drinks! Everyone I’ve taken here is always pleasantly surprised!

Yet another sympathetically-converted art deco cinema that Wetherspoon's have made an excellent job of preserving. The Full House serves the usual good value Wetherspoon's menu in an interesting setting that gives you plenty to talk about. Attention to detail is noticeable...the carpet features a film reel motif, for example. We had a very enjoyable lunch and I highly recommend The Full House for good food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Went here alone for standard breakfast with a couple of extras. Ordered on the app. Coffee was unavailable! The food took 28mins to arrive - no indication that it would be delayed and no apology. Food was ok. I'm guessing they were understaffed and the staff they had didn't seem to have any training in customer care.

I used to like this place but since it has been re furbished I visited once & found the place packed with football supporters shouting & singing , prices raised to a level so as to be less competetive with surrounding outlets . Also , the outdoor seating area has been improved but smoking & vaping banned which strikes me as rather discriminatory ( I don't smoke , by the way , in case you think that colours my opinion ) . I'm fed up with pubs being turned into joyless eateries & now I rarely visit them whereas I used to visit regularly. Rant over! By the way , we left before buying anything & will not return.

The usual group of youngsters serving so fair sized que at bar. Beer very good and food good value. Early evening so luckily not crowded. But went for the advertised 'beer festival ' and there was no sign of anything so disappointing.

The moronic Doormen would not let me in As had no I'd. I am57 and surely can skip this part. They also took exemption to me taking a picture of the pub. Thankfully I asked for the Manager and he let me in. Wetherspoons should be more careful with hiring Morons like these. ..

I was there for the first time with my family. There weren't many people. The place was nice, but the service was poor. I had the impression that they were there for a penalty. No kindness, no smiles. Do some training with the customer service. It would be really nice if you went somewhere and were greeted by smiling staff.

The friendliness of the staff is the great thing about this pub . Good choice of drinks and low prices attract many people here making it an essential forum for the town .

Out with my family food was good BUT my husband ordered onion bhaji first one very well done so ask for another one which was still frozen in the middle ask to see manger who said I not been kitchen this afternoon so food was not probed she just said what do I want me to do then said I refund you for it still no sorry or I talk to chef !!!!! But rest of our food was nice 9 of us

Overall, love a WS, but the food has slipped a bit now, overall, very good value and super convincent the staff are really friendly and helpful but unfortunately the security staff are really unhelpfull and really rude as they all seem to have a massive chip on there shoIlder most of the time and the only trouble I've seen in there was caused by them.

Great weatherspoons breakfast wasn't the best I've had in a weatherspoons and they did mess up my order a bit but overall nothing too bad

Is a nice place for food and a drink with your partner, bartenders were friendly and approachable and making sure everything was how you would like it. Only downside I would say is a unprofessional waiter who gave us dirty looks constantly, I was told by a member of staff that the lady was called Lilly.

Recently refurbished. Great selection of beers, at fantastic prices.

Food is always piping hot, never had a problem, they are closing at end of October for 3 weeks for a re furbishment

Visited mid week, is a lovely building as all spoons are. Didnt eat so cant comment on the food. Service via the app was spot on.

Unfortunately we only discovered this house the day before our departure. I found it amazing. We would definitely have gone there very often on this holiday. The prices were very cheap.

Had Large breakfast with 2 Sausages, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 3 hash brown, 8 baked beans and a mushroom with toast and butter. How on earth something just ordered was all cold, Sausages were luke warm, eggs cold, bacon cold, beans luke warm and hash browns were under cooked so bad I could taste the cold lumpy potato separating inside not cooked, it's a shame, food is really good normally, just can't understand how it can be that cold just coming out of the fryer/grill.

It is a nice specious pub. Great deals on. Droning. We didn't have e food. Mmperfect place to have a catch-up with founds when you need quieter surroundings. Autism friendly. Good lightning. On the quieter side as no music is played.

Mixed age groups. Great table service. Plenty of space, Unfortunately no garden.

I had the hot & spicy chicken…. and it was amazing! Kids had chicken and chip and pizzas. Great day

1st time here its a large pub very clean the staff are so cheerful popped in on a weds for breakfast the food was good also toilets were clean issue with milk in one coffee machine wasnt hot enough staff were told and went straight to the machine

Hemel spoons is great. Beer always well kept. Prices you can afford. I bought a round for 13 people and it was 35 quid.

This pub has such a good atmosphere, the food and drinks are very reasonable. Never had bad service and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Food edible, good price. Very long wait on a Monday, but this was on a 1/2 price day.

Business trip left us with few options, fortunately for us The Full House was only a short walk. This pub/ converted cinema provided what we wanted; a few beers and decent grub in a clean and friendly venue. You can’t go wrong with Wetherspoon.

Was in the full house with my mum for a couple off drinks And Ross running around crazy with food but always has time for chat checking on us and everything is OK honestly lovely lad and always got a smile on his face from sharon x

Wow. This is visually a very lovely pub. Lots of murals, riveted metal and cinematic statues aplenty leaves you with no doubt as to the origins of this spoons. As you walk in there is a raised area with bookcases and a fireplace before you step into the main bar and are confronted with the huge mural behind it. If you turn around you will see even more. There is an even wider array of seating than most spoons as well as a smoking area to the left as you come in and a nonsmoking out the front you can access to the right. The Gwynt Y Ddraig Dragon cider was excellent as was the mixed grill.

The Full House - JD Wetherspoon offered a unique dining experience within the walls of an adapted old theater, and the ambiance was nothing short of fascinating. Stepping into the converted space, one could feel the historical charm blended seamlessly with the modern Wetherspoon's setting. While I was initially disappointed to learn that they didn't have any pizza available at the time, my disappointment quickly turned into excitement as we decided to try their small plates selection instead. And boy, was it a delightful surprise! The variety of small plates on offer was impressive, and we couldn't resist ordering six different ones to share among our group. Each dish was bursting with flavor and skillfully prepared. From the crispy calamari to the succulent chicken wings, and the flavorful nachos to the mouthwatering sliders, every bite was a treat for our taste buds. The service was commendably fast, ensuring we didn't have to wait long to savor our delicious selections. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. One minor aspect that I noticed was the occasional noise level, which might have been due to the restaurant's layout in the converted theater. Nevertheless, it didn't detract significantly from our overall dining experience. The Full House - JD Wetherspoon certainly proved its worth with its excellent small plates offering and efficient service. I would love to return and explore more of their menu in the future, hoping to find some delicious pizza on the list as well. If you're looking for a place with character and scrumptious food, this Wetherspoon's location is worth a visit.

Food really was a disaster. But delicious and large beer selection.

I absolutely loved this wetherspoons. It is probably the nicest one that I have ever been in. Spacious bar area with two sets of outdoor seating, the ladies' toilets are actually on the same level as the main area and not at the back of beyond like other spoons. Fast friendly service, well worth the visit 👍🏻

Food looks fine but TASTE HORRIBLE! I think tge chef should find another job kitchen is definitely not for him. The food is tasteless and bath with salt on the outside. Everything tastes horrible the gravy is tasteless... You can have drinks but definitely not recommending the food... even the drinks they only have white lemonade and juices.. but too many on the menu! NOT COMING BACK I suggest if you're hungry fo to KFC it taste better and worth your money...

typical Wetherspoons pub, sometimes the kitchen lets you down like I recently had a pizza which was quite chewy and not cooked properly. Every other time was fine and the pizza was good.

I am a regular at the full house, my partner isn’t . We visited for a few drinks and a meal with a friend of ours, after security are at the door. For some random reason a young silly girl at the bar refused to serve my boyfriend, when I went to the bar and asked why absolutely no reason was given but I was served drinks. About half an hour later said silly little girl actually came and sat with us and still couldn’t answer why my partner was refused service but was happy to talk about his response ( which was polite but offended) I have since found out that this pub has had problems with the travelling community. I suggest the silly little girl behind the bar listens to some u tube videos and understands the difference between a Donegal accent and a traveller accent, there is no other reason my partner was refused service other then his accent. Disgusting behaviour , I wish I had took her name. If any manager would like to get in touch with me I will gladly give dates and times of this behaviour

1960s cinema converted to a modern interior pub. Wetherspoon prices and menu, great value for food and drinks. Not a classy place, but good for a quick meal or a drink with friends.

We have eaten in the full house many many times , curry night ,steak night etc and have never been let down with the quality and service . We just had a night out at another chain and i.must day the difference is like day and night . The ales are always perfect . In fact there is absolutely nothing to.moan about . Perfect . Give it a try and get rid of those preconceptions of the "spoons"

Not bad at all, spoons standard fare. Really quick service still, both for drinks and food. Table order worked really well. Good stuff. Update: been here again a couple of times recently. The service has not suffered. Tonight we were mostly looked after by Liv, who has been outstanding. Service with a smile and genuinely engaging. The food actually was good, no complaints. Even though certain items were unavailable something was sorted out with no issue. Staff, excellent. Food, spoons good quality. Beer, great selection. Definitely recommend.

Unusual setting . An old small cinema. We had coffee at 10 am. Nice and quiet. People on lap tops other folk having breakfast. Typical witherspoon pub. Worth a visit.

Went to the full house in hemel Hempstead with my mum and dad and girlfriend last night was a bit disappointed i ordered a empire burger it was really small not much 2 it seems 2 have gone down hill a bit last few times my mum and dads meal was very small quality seems 2 have changed alot

Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere

Nice and cosy, there's an open (gas) fire in one area. Food was nice although they didn't have fish and chips I wanted so had Scampi instead.

It's very comfortable and the prices are affordable.

Usually have a great experience here, however on this occasion this was not the case. I ordered from my phone, the drinks came out in 10 mins.. the food took over 45 mins, that is ridiculous for a Wetherspoons. They also forgot our popadoms. When I questioned them, the waiter said our delivery hadn’t come we don’t have any. No apology, no alternative offered. I would come back because I’m sure this was just a once off. They must have been short staffed.

Great place not too busy good surroundings Only bad thing was the bar man refusing to top up my wife's gin and Lemonade she dosnt have ice so only gets half a glass hear, every other spoons tops it up, when we asked why he wouldn't he said it would affect his stock levels. We had to buy an extra drink is this a new ploy from spoons to get more money. Weatherspoons used to say no ice wouldn't effect the drinks ,well it does now.

Classic whetherspoon, friendly atmosphere, standard average food quality, wide selection of beers, relative cleanliness. The place is of particular interest.

I stopped by to have some food and drink after my long bus journey. Jess was most helpful and cheerful when I wanted to place my order. She's great 👍 Lulu the little waitress is a great asset placing the food, asking if everything was okay, clearing and cleaning up on the tables. Keep up the good work as I don't ever want to see any NO ID NO ENTRY (and stroppy security guards spoiling for a reaction) on the front doors ever again during the day time. That is why I have avoided this place a while ago hence the three stars given here.

Love it there! I'm Canadian and we don't have anything like this where I'm from. Love how you're able to order through an app. Love how its a chain but each one called something different and is in a different type of building! Prices are very affordable. Whole range of food selection, something for everyone. Who can say no to cheap drinks either!? Love their selection. Although it might not be considered "fancy" Jr's a very comfortable place to be in. Their new burrito bowl was amazing!
