Friends food was cold on arrival, staff took it away came back 5 minutes later, still cold. I'm assuming they just threw it in the microwave and gave it back. 1st time it's happened to us but ruined the experience for our friend.

Went for a quick drink before dinner. A medium sized glass of red and a craft pint of stout, less than £6. Thank you very much Tim.

Food was okay. Steak was cooked to how I asked. Pizza was okay not alot of base sauce all way round the base but good overall. Chips were okay a few could have done with couple mins longer cooking but still okay. Good pint of guiness. Burgers were good. Not a bad place clean appearance. Would stop by again.

This was the first time I've been to this Wetherspoon's & will definitely go again. We ordered the 3 Small Plates & everything came piping hot. Really nice food & a great selection of Real Ales. Service was good and the place, including the toilets were very clean.

Reece was such a gentleman bringing the best service to our table, he was so polite and was amazing bringing our food and drinks to the table so glad I ended up with the kindest person to serve me my food it just made the experience so much better

Nice pub, good friendly service. Cooked breakfast sadly served on a cold plate, bacon cold, rest warm. Shame as other than that it was a decent breakfast.

I always order and pay by Pay Pal online using the Wetherspoons App, from my numbered table, food and drinks arrives within minutes, very nice reasonably food, obviously not top-notch but tasty pub grub all the same. Huge menu, good children's menu too. It's worth down loading the Wetherspoons App for the full menu.

Do not order food using the app as it is down, lose your money for a week until refund, 2 days in a row this has happened, terrible customer service from staff as apparently it's my fault

Classic spoons - burger and a drink deal, you know what you're getting, good burger, good chips, onion rings. All reasonably priced. Quick service through the app. Lots of sauces (ketchup, mayo etc.) available on the side. All good 🍔🍟🍺🍹

I would say this is the best Spoons I have been to. The beer choice is second to none and it is a genuine pleasure to not have to pay £7 a pint. Knock it if you want, but it's unbeatable for the price.

Ordered all day brunch which was OK but the American burger tasted like washing up liquid so I took the meat out of bun and scraped the mustard and onions off, the meat was OK.

I’d like to say how clean and comfortable it is in the full house. I’m sure they’ve had some money spent on the place recently. The carpets look new and the booths have been removed. They now have tables that can be moved around. I was very impressed after a visit with mum yesterday. The service was friendly and after ordering on the app ( which was easy as) the food and drinks requested arrived in a timely manner. I did visit the loo’s too. I was pleased to say they were clean and smelt fresh. Welldone and keep up the good work 👏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

This place is very friendly and good. The food is always good and comes out pretty quickly. I got the pepperoni pizza, and it is very tasty. The staff are very friendly and willing to help if there are any issues. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food, atmosphere, and quality service.

1/5 - Disappointing Experience I recently visited The Full House with friends, but our evening was marred by poor service. We were enjoying our drinks when nature called, and we stepped away to the toilet. To our surprise, upon returning, our half-full beer glasses were gone! It was closing time, but surely 5 minutes wouldn't have been too much to ask. The staff seemed more interested in rushing us out than providing decent customer service.

25/10/24: annual Hemel Hempstead trip to see JD & Hazel. Bryan with us again to enjoy the shenanigans. Chose 3 craft ales. All 3 not on tap. Chose a forth and that wasn't tapped yet, but next on. Cheap prices. Settled for Doombar and an Abbott . Disappointed.

Went for lunch after shopping .......me and my partner had 2 wraps and chips each with a drink ......my issue is not the price £20 for all but the food was cold and tbh it took 30 mins to get to us and the wraps had too much sauce and mint inside was overpowering and the chips was cold.....no cutlery and I will do be going again waste of money and time waiting for a wrap was a joke

Great value, definitely puts other restaurants to shame. Always have lovely staff, that are polite and friendly however busy they are.

Only had one Drink but seemed a nice place ,staff cleaning tables fast .

So, I ordered the famous fish and chips, expecting a delightful British classic. What I got, however, was an entirely new take on “disappointment.” The fish was so poorly battered, it looked like it barely survived a wrestling match with a greasy sponge. Tasteless, limp, and almost embarrassed to be on my plate. The chips? I counted about 10 or 12 sad, lukewarm stragglers. And, of course, there were a few obligatory spoonfuls of peas, sitting there like they just wanted to go home. When I politely mentioned this culinary catastrophe to the staff, they dropped the gem of all responses: “We batter the fish by hand, so it can be different every time.” Right, because hand-battered apparently means ‘wildly inconsistent.’ And here’s the kicker—they asked if they could re-do the fish! But honestly, I didn’t have the courage to roll the dice a second time, so I opted for the refund instead. They said they will mention my opinions to the kitchen staff- that’s very necessary. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a meal that’ll make you appreciate the simplicity of bread and butter, this is the place. Come here if you want to learn how the same amount of money can buy you either a good meal or a culinary gamble you’ll lose.

I've been coming to this pub for many years Food quality gone downhill in last 3 months... Staff and management very rude and stroppy and dont care about paying customers. I always feel they think they are doing me a favour serving me...hardly ever a nice greeting or a smile...only reason I come here is as its convenient being in the town centre. They have also banned many people without even giving a warning over the most trivial reasons since the last few years...its a very cruel thing to do when alot of those banned people relied on the full house weatherspoons for their social life and these were long stand paying customers who spent alot of money every day!! You would think the full house don't want to increase profits. Such a weird way to run a pub to ban those that spend a fortune in it. No wonder there's hardly anyone in this pub anymore. Wetherspoons head office seriously needs to review how this pub is being managed #timmartin #wetherspoons

I have been in multiple whetherspoons around the UK, but I have never encountered such a unprofessional and rude staff. It's a nice pub and they have fresh and good beer but there's a huge trouble in the staff management..

Horrible staff treatment!!! I was unjustly accused to bulling a guy wich was related to a member of the staff, with absolutely no evidence and absolutely fake accusation. By the way i I'm a 7 years regular customer and i have received in first instance a Ban for life from this pub with absolutely no proof..... I came in the pub trying to fix the problem and speaking with multiple members of the staff. They told me that will be sorted but at the end they just let me lose time and i have received a ridiculous proposal of 6 months Ban. They just believe what they heard and don't care about listening the both version of the story..... Beautiful pub 🍻 and good beer but terrible staff... Be Careful at everything you do in the Pub, even going in the toilet can cost you a Ban or worst!!!!

This place has a nice atmosphere lovely venue and the prices are reasonable although they are more expensive than some other Wetherspoons. In Saying that though they do have cheaper pitchers than most of the Wetherspoons. The staff are friendly and the service here is fairly fast.

Can be a bit overwhelming. Tables near each other. The usual spoons clientele. The bar staff were great. Cheap beer is why we go there. A question on the survey is, does it serve hard alcohol? Having a degree in chemistry I've only ever come across liquid alcohol, can't call it hard can you!!!

The steak was a major disappointment. It was overcooked, dry, and tough. Such a shame, as a properly cooked steak is a culinary delight.

The friendliness of the staff is the great thing about this pub . Good choice of drinks and low prices attract many people here making it an essential forum for the town .

i had been having a really hard day as i had just lost my grandad and the workers were so incredibly patient, joe had been extremely helpful and made sure i was safe and comfortable!

No veggie sausages so no veggie breakfast at all. They can't do it without sausages and adjust the price accordingly or offer extra veggie items to compensate for lack of sausages.

Great pub! More expensive then normal weatherspoons but you pay for the location and the amazing garden. This time the service let it down. Ask for a spirit and mixer and they fill right to the top and will not correct. Card machines offline so really inconvenience. Some staff look fed up and can be rude

I have to write to let people know as there seems to be so many negative reviews about the full houses. Firstly all the people complaining, get a grip it’s a very busy town centre pup. All the staff are extremely busy. Staff will often start their shifts early or finish late just to serve the customers at busy times. People complaining about someone being served in front of them is roust stupid as this can happen in every pub in the country. All the management and staff have worked very hard to clean the pub previous reputation. I have always found the staff to be very polite and welcoming even while very busy. In particular I would like to mention Charlie, johhan and Josh who are all excellent in their attitude and work ethic. I don’t know everyone’s names but I have to say that I for one am a very happy customer

The best spoons I’ve ever been to staff are amazing even johan who always says hello to me and my friends and makes us feel welcome even comes and sits with us ;) food is amazing couldn’t ask for a better Weatherspoon 100% recommend if you’re in the area.

Wetherspoons #123 visited. A large branch, situated in a converted Odeon cinema, at the far end of the town centre. A outside garden area exists to the left of the pub, upon entering. Ordered the BBQ Burger and a bottle of Bulmers Red Berries and Lime - £11.46 Drink arrived after about five minutes, food in around 11 minutes. Only complaint with food was a little lukewarm, in particular the chips. The burger was also done slightly different to usual, with a slice of cheese between the two burgers. Also was a bit unimpressed with the number of shouting kids running around. Seriously, if you come to a pub - a predominantly adult venue - with kids, then keep them under control!! Other than that, not a bad branch of Wetherspoons. Worth a visit if you are around the area!

Our food is always lovely and tasty and piping hot at the Full House, never had a problem, and cheerfull pleasant staff, order on the App at your numbered table, no queuing at the bar for drinks and food. Will return.

The best selection of real ale beautifully kept and always interesting, quirky and unusual choices. My fiance is a huge real ale fan and raves about this place and really rates Alex for his knowledge of proper beer. Its also a lovely setting and the staff are so friendly...

We sent back one of the 2 breakfasts because the bacon was raw and the toast was not toasted. My wife and child then ate their food even though the poached eggs were uncooked and the rest of the food was cold. 10 minutes later my breakfast arrived. It was cold. I sent it back to be warmed up. 15 minutes later still no breakfast. I asked to see the manager. I went to the bar and asked again. When he turned up I complained the food was cold and poor he said that was not true. I asked for the area managers' contact details. He told the staff to refund me. The manager then walked away to do other important jobs such as clearing tables. I asked again for the area manager contact details and was told by the bar staff that I couldn't have it because of "data protection". I then explained that I was a shareholder in Wetherspoons and I had every right to ask for and obtain the area manager contact details. The staff again refused so I insisted on seeing the pub manager again, assuming he'd finished his more important tasks. Eventually I got the contact details. I have used The Full House before and never had this form of disgraceful customer service and incompetence before.

Had an early evening meal for 3 adults and 2 children. Children had the curry night meals which were good adult size and value, worst was the classic burger meal which looked like a child's size meal, with just a handful of chips. Desserts were ok but not such great value.Overall was good prices as drinks included. Hate the dark blue crockery which doesn't make food look appetising. Decor was different, especially the toilets! No parking.

Standard spoons fair but nice venue

Too many poor choices, mostly chicken, sausage or burgers. What happened to roast dinner? The place is rundown and the app for ordering is slow. Not enough staff for a moderately busy venue.

Bar staff are poor even though its normally quiet

1960s cinema converted to a modern interior pub. Wetherspoon prices and menu, great value for food and drinks. Not a classy place, but good for a quick meal or a drink with friends.

Only 4 stars for service as part of our order was given to a other table otherwise GREAT

Had evening food and a breakfast. Evening meal was tepid, cider was room temperature and undrinkable. Breakfast was nice but the drinks took an age to turn up. Staff are nice enough but they obviously need more

Possibly the best looking Wetherspoons pub in the country? They’ve kept the old theatre charm on the inside and that really works well in this gorgeous pub. The service was excellent and I’ve only tried their breakfast so far but I really couldn’t complain about a single thing on the plate even if I wanted to. It’s just exceptional value for money in this day and age of inflation and the quality isn’t compromised either.

Food is better here than in some 'Spoons. The beer range is standard for the group. Beer events are occasionally organised. The next one is mid December 2023. Details on the pub's facebook page. We visited on the first day of the Christmas beer festival and there wasn't a single Christmas beer being sold in the afternoon.

Really enjoyed my meal at the full house. Was let down by rowdy and loud customers. Other than that a good experience.

Really impressive range of local real ales, one of the best I've ever seen in a Wetherspoon. Several from Tring, Mad Squirrel and Vale.

I am not someone to put bad reviews, but I have to for this one. I just came back from "lunch" here and I am honestly disgusted. Ordered a chicken burger and after giving it a bite I had to put it down cos the chicken started leaking badly (who knows what was it) and it leaked on me. I don't care about the shirt or anything but I feel either the chicken was off or not defrosted properly. The taste was awful and I do feel it was gone off. I just got home and the shirt STINKS where the chicken leaked. I am pregnant and this is very dangerous. I obviously spat out the only bite I had and didn't finish the rest. I really damn hope I didn't catch anything from it for the sake of my child. GUYS AT WETHERSPOON: PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL AND CHECK WHAT YOU SERVE.

I did not eat but the price of the beers are very good

The added touch to this Wetherspoons is the quality and design of the building. Generally, you know what you will get from Wetherspoons, which is great value food and drink- each of which you probably get the best choice from any chain in the country. But this one is different with it being in an old cinema and bingo hall, so it has retained the character from it's heritage. We made a couple of changes from the actual meal items and were served as requested. A big breakfast for £6.59 (held off on the eggs) and a Fiesta brunch at £3.88 (extra sausage and bacon added). Tea and coffee at £1.56 each where you get unlimited refills at this price just adds to the appeal and value. Nowhere in the UK gives such decent sized portions with quality food at those prices. I will happily go to Wetherspoons for breakfast any day of the week.

Nice for a moons; retained the film theme from the previous premises. Ales are cheap and well maintained lines, toilets are clean, staff are efficient.

This place is old and tired but any joy was quickly dispelled by a grumpy surley waitress who quite frankly made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Not the best pub in the world. It was a cinema so the atmosphere is quite strange because the building is so big but I can honestly not complain about the quality of the food and beer for the price. It's the cheapest place around the staff are friendly its kept clean. In a lot of cases, the beer is almost half the price of other places.

We come to this Wetherspoons occasionally for breakfast. Always plenty of tables available, it's pretty clean and I've got no complaints about the service and friendliness of the staff. Happy to keep coming back here.
