The Fryary in Swindon

The poor service in here is beyond me and then when I opened my rapping the chips were COLD. Cold chips from a fish & chip shop is a first for me. Stay away there are loads of others in the town.

Saw this new place on zoom food and thought we'd give it a go. Got fish and chips and a pizza to see what they are like. Fish was tiny with thin, floppy, greasy batter and pizza was laughably bad. Tasteless bland cheese (don't be expecting mozzarella) that's barely melted on a thick, dry cardboardy base. Fairly certain the tomatoe sauce was just concentrated puree as was far too strong. Wont be buying from here again.

Family of four, food to take away. The person serving was incredibly rude. Fish was tasteless and batter on the soggy side. Chips aneamic and only just cooked. The pie & sausage were fine. It was all paletable but only just. Had been quite excited to use our treat night to try somewhere new in town but won't be back in a hurry. It's new though so maybe it's teething problems?
