Reasonable prices. Quick service. Food was hot and well presented. Clean surroundings with background music at a level that allowed conversation.

A group of us ate at the Mercure Foundry restaurant, Firstly the drinks service to the table was almost non existant (i thought i was dehydrating) The Menu is Very limited, with 6 starters and £3 for 4 tiny slices of bread is truly outrageous, I opted for the Ribeye OK £24 a bit on the steep side but for a decent steak (which this was not) you pay. I ordered Rare, when the waitress finally arrived mine was last to be served (not a problem) she said "Steak" i said "Rare" i suppose it must be because its the last one, No it was not as requested but rather than eat after everyone else had finished i made the best of it. Lets just say no taste and i will not be rushing back. With staff you either get the A team or not... This lot need to get back to the drawing board & start again with training.

whilst a bit expensive, the service was good and the food good. Breakfast was very good with a couple of unusual additions - I have a small glass of passion fruit and mango mouse which really sets it apart from other hotels.

Metimos en este hotel para una bebida como la vez viernes almuerzo pub estaba lleno. Pedimos nuestras bebidas a un precio decente y disfrutamos de un almuerzo riendo de las camareras que parecía confundido por un sandwich de pescado con los dedos. En el camino de salida me quitó hasta el baño. Lo afortunados que son que tengo una debilidad de la vejiga, como grabado en la puerta de una hoja de papel A4. Esperaba que esto a menudo los inodoros decir cómo se limpian pero no, le dice que necesita para registrar su vehículo en una máquina en reg recepción o le 'cargará' (multa). Me apareció de vuelta en recepción para intentar encontrar la máquina, nada obvio, me preguntó y se sometió a un tablet pequeño que tuvimos que usar. No había nada de sugerir esto es lo que la tableta. Pregunté dónde estaban las señales al entrar que me dijeron que hacer esto, etc, me refirieron a un cartel diciendo 'CCTV estándar en funcionamiento para su seguridad" que ha estado allí durante años. No había nada obvio en la entrada al aparcamiento de sugerir que se cobrará por aparcar allí, y nada en la entrada al hotel o en lugares obvios dentro de la zona de recepción/bar. Nos dijeron que debería haber sido asesorado por el personal del bar (alias el confundido chica sandwich palitos de pescado) para hacer esto, pero no lo eran. He estado en este hotel antes y nunca he tenido un problema de aparcamiento, indicando la ubicación y no se puede ver ninguna, razón por la que se necesita una empresa para "administrar" su aparcamiento y aplicar gastos de estacionamiento multas alias'' cuando se utiliza. Este plan claramente parece haber establecido para hacer dinero de personas llevando a sus negocios confiados al hotel. Le advierto, lo que prueba El siguiente?

Me pareció que el personal realmente quería ayudar. Una noche que no quería una gran comida y cuando pregunté qué me dije "realmente chip butty", fue el más grande que he visto.

Ate here whilst staying at the hotel. Evening we had bar snacks which were beautifully presented, freshly cooked and delicious. Breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold. Service was superb both evening and breakfast. Could do with dropping the prices though as slightly expensive.

I can't rate the rooms as we weren't staying overnight in this greene king hotel. We were a little disappointed you couldn't use your discount from one hotel to another 🤔. We had a lovely family meal together with 12 people booked. We all felt extremely disappointed when a meal arrived in 3 small serving dishes and not on a plate when I specified it was a main meal. Kids were made welcome, and allergies menu was on tablet.

This little gem is not to be missed. It's a great atmosphere, with young people who are learning their trade in hospitality. Great food overseen by a professional chef and front of house lead by manager John. Always a pleasure and we have never been disappointed. Give it a try, I'm certain you will enjoy the experience.

Pre booked snug for family birthday of 8. Was great. Table service. Promptly served. Food was delicious. 8 different meals delivered together. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend and will be returning ourselves regularly

Commented on Facebook page that service was poor and they instantly deleted it and blocked me. Complete joke and unprofessional. NOT the way to treat customer feedback. 4 of us been most Fridays for last year or so and service has been shockingly poor. Last week turned up at 4pm and it was shut. Week before girl behind the bar was on her own, never worked in a bar before, zero training and despite trying her best, couldn’t cope, didn’t even know a jigger had 2 measures poor lass. Extremely poor way to run a pub and deleting constructive criticism even worse. Won’t be going again, rather spend our cash with someone that cares. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss. It will be under new management for the umpteenth time yet again real soon no doubt.
