Great chip shop always come here when I am in Fleet and always have the battered sausage and chips with curry sauce it is an absolute must try.

Food good, but prices have been hiked by 30% and their takeaway menu leaflets are still showing the old prices. I ordered a takeaway expecting to pay £35.40 but had to pay £45.90 instead!

I am a big fan of the food of Flying Fish. The veg tastes fresh, the cooking is excellent, and the flavour balanced. Their Chinese takeaway style chips are also good. I am blown away by the high quality of the service. My requests for no mushrooms have been honoured, which I have had hit and miss luck with at other restaurants. When I ordered last night I forgot to mention no mushrooms. My meal still came mushroom free, as not only had my name been remembered, so too my dietary preference. Blown away. Thank you!

Very nice fish and chips from here. Both were freshly cooked to order and the best I have found in Fleet. Perfectly cooked tender white fish in a light, crisp batter and really nice crisp, thick cut chips. Both were excellent in both texture and flavour, and not excessively greasy. Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is on the pricey side but the portions are large and the quality is top notch. The food was served in paper wrapping and a paper bag so it arrived home hot and not at all soggy. Highly recommended, I’ll be eating from here again.

The worse fish and chips I have ever had! Hardly any fish, & what little fish there was was chewy. Chips were hard and chewy as well. Also asked to wrap food very well as had a walk to get them home and they were wrapped in once piece of paper and a paper bag. Disgusting, avoid!!!

Wife went here last night to pick up our evening meal and I have to say this is the worst fish and chips I have ever had! Cold, hard, stale chips and the cod was the same. Avoid this place!

Would not rate this place chips were cold and sausage was terrible would not feed this to a dog. AVOID

Not bad, sometimes find the food a bit oily but it is deep fried so ... 🤷🏽‍♀️ Friendly staff. Do not need to wait too long for orders

The service is terrible been sat here for 40 minutes and still waiting. Too busy doing deliveries, and not addressing their on store customers. Might ask for money back in a minute. Wouldn't recommend unless you have a spare hour to wait, don't come in hungry you might die of starvation first

hair/furr attaced/batterd in my scampy. i couldnt eat after seeing that. clear the fryer needs cleaning, chips well over cooked. dont know how to post a pic

Yuk! Dried aromatic duck, Stuck together pancakes, Sloppy greasy mains and overcooked chow main. Really disappointed. We placed a sizable order for collection. Upon entering the premises I noted no one else and staff at the front of the shop just standing around...never a good sign! There was still food cooking but most of the order was loitering in the food warmer which probably accounts for the overcooking. This was a special occasion meal with lousey food - and to spend over £60 and not get any free prawn crackers!? The only thing that tasted good was the sweet and sour chicken balls....if you're still going to go here I'd stick to the Fish and Chips!

Ordered some food via delivroo. Took an hour to arrive chips were cold and triple fried. The fish cakes literally bounced off the floor. I will not be returning to this company.

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked to order and the best batter ever, golden brown and not too thick. Hope they don’t change anything. Not tried any of their other dishes yet so can’t comment at the moment.

Best fish and chips ever Fabulous fresh cooked fish and chips. Generous portions. Super fresh. Amazing. Staff are really efficient as it gets busy and they are never too busy to be polite and friendly. It's worth a drive over even if you're not local.

Best fish and chips in town. May not look as shiny as Churchill’s down the road but the portion size and quality is a lot better. They also do Chinese as well!

We only eat from here when the F&C shop in Ancells is closed and usually end up regretting it. The food isn't bad, it's not great, but the service is always dismal and can actually be rude. Customers here are treated like an interruption rather than the reason for their business to exist. Recomend avoiding this business altogether.

Unbelievably tasty fish and chips! This evening’s takeaway was one of the best pieces of cod I’ve ever eaten, perfectly cooked, so succulent. The chips are perfectly crisp and dry - not soggy and stale. We were so impressed, we’ll be back again in no time!!

Gone downhill. Ordered a pie for a change and 5 mins later once I got home it was stone cold had to put it in microwave to make it edible. How hard is it to reheat a pie for godsake.. Fish is not quality is used to be too..

Spicy Pad Thai or soft noodles house special are good.

Please control the male staff in the back of your shop. Each time I visit with my daughter we both have to endure the long uncomfortable sleazy stares from the dark haired male and his friend, to the point where my daughter will no longer come inside and waits in the car. Your food and the serving staff are great, but let down by the two in the back.

£10 minimum plus they stick a delivery charge to the local hotel couple of minutes away by car. This is a reminder to me same as all the rest in fleet home delivery lousy you have to go into this place to buy the food yourself. I did see some stickers in their windows asking for delivery drivers so you get the picture

Even one star is generous. We ordered a Chinese takeaway tonight and were told it would be with us in 30-40 minutes. After an hour, I phone to find out where our food was. "On the way". It finally arrived 1 hour and 25 minutes after ordering. They agreed to take 10% off for the delay. On opening the bag, several of the items ordered were missing and the rest was totally ruined. The prawn toast were like cardboard, the rice a congealed mess and the bottom of the bag was swimming in grease. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from here again.
