The Fit Kitchen in Mid Sussex

We ordered a takeaway from Lemon Leaf for my 30th birthday meal. We ordered through the Just Eat app at 6:30pm. At 8:00pm we still had not had the delivery so I phoned the restaurant only to be brushed off with being told 'it's on its way'. Half an hour later the restaurant phoned back to say actually it wasn't on its way (not sure why they felt the need to lie the first time I asked) and that it was still being cooked because a receipt had not printed for our order. The most frustrating thing about this experience is that if they had actually listened to me when I first called and not just brushed off my query, then perhaps they could have got the issue sorted sooner. We will not be ordering from here again as they ruined what should have been a nice 30th birthday meal with their utterly terrible customer service.

Good local pub with a warm welcome and a great garden

A great location in East Grinstead. A good amount of seating with numerous TV's showing sport. Some pool tables here too. Both the female staff were friendly and helpful choosing food and seating area. The food arrived in good time, was hot, tasted good, presented well and excellent quality. With so many restaurants in the area, you certainly can't go wrong here. It's perfectly located with the cinema only two floors above it too. Ideal for a bite to eat before or after a cinema showing. I'm in East Grinstead every week and will definitely call here again. Highly recommend.

Turned up with 3 adults and 4 kids and they sorted us out with hot chocolate suitable for the kids, sweet snacks and hot delicious coffee for the adults. Nice and clean and very friendly service. Excellent.

Absolutely amazing food as always. The best Indian takeaway / restaurant in East Grinstead. Believe me, full of flavour and authentic cooking. Try them you will not be disappointed 👍
