Lovely food and great choice of drinks. View ain't too shabby either!

I got food poisoning eating here, I emailed them, but they chose to ignore it. My coffee came in a dirty plastic cup and we couldn't order online as the website doesn't do hot drinks. Avoid this place.

Food was good and arrived quickly, staff friendly, several vegan and veggie options.

Food was perfect, staff were lovely, and they’re super dog friendly. What more could you need :)

Second visit not great food was fine but came 30 mins after the rest of my group had been given theirs really poor apology not bothered at all ,on two occasions the staff came over to enquire to see if I had got my food 15 minutes apart not good enough. To add to the atmosphere killer you have to order by app and they even ask for a tip prior to the staff actually doing anything which surmounted to the chef not cooking my meal and the waiting staff bringing it to the table eventually ,the customer does the rest . Poor show on all levels so impersonal and a poor service all round.

Visited tonight as a walk in after our favourite take away was closed. We had to wait 40 minutes for our table as they were already fully booked for the two members of staff on service, which was no problem, we enjoyed some drinks whilst watching the sunset. Once seated we were served quickly by the lovely Amelia. Food was served in super quick time and it was all absolutely delicious apart from the kids Mac and cheese which my daughter found too strong. To my surprise the staff happily replaced this with a garlic bread which was stunning 😀! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be returning very soon. Massive shout out to all the staff who were all attentive and smiling despite clearly being under a lot of pressure.

Walked in and waited a while to be seated, got told if we're sitting balcony it's essentially self service. Ordered through the app, drinks turned up quick. When the pizzas came out they looked awesome. Dove straight in and for the level of trade they were dealing with the pizzas passed the mark. Definitely a venue I'll come back to

Good pizzas that could be so much better if the kitchen was a little more generous with the toppings ! The restaurant would also benefit from a thorough clean !

Such an awesome place to go! The views are incredible! Pizza is delish! Ciders (Lilly's bee sting) absolutely lush - beware strong percentage! Never had dinner in such a beautiful place, staff really friendly! Love!

Stable newquay is the BEST place to go for pizza and views of the sea.The MANAGER was very welcoming and freindly and a great host.The food was cooked to perfection(👏to the chefs)and the prices were great.But the MANAGER made our night.What a lovely person she is.THANKYOU STABLE. Very noisy so we couldn’t hear the waitress, food was pretty meh, i had pineapple on my pizza that tasted really odd like it had gone off. Service was slow, view was amazing.

I'm gutted and shocked on how down hill the service and food was today at fistral stables. I've been a few times and it's been ok. Today the staff were miserable couldn't be bothered. Didn't even give us cutlery. We have to order from a QR reader! What's that about! Don't even get someone coming to ask you what you'd like to order, ok in COVID but really!! The prices are the same but no dining experience. To top it off they ask if you want to tip on the app before you even get anything! I'll give you a tip... Pull your finger out! You may not want the customers but they pay your wages. If you don't like people don't be in hospitality! I don't normally review but I was truly gutted .

Food was very good. But the have definitely not enough staff and the table was very sticky.

Great vibes, food with a view, great for groups. Caters for all dietary requirements. To pay you go to the bar and pay what you ordered. Done.

We were lucky enough to be seated on a busy evening, staff were welcoming and attentive. Pizza was good, The Fistral was tasty. Good selection of ciders both still and sparkling, even a perry or two. Amazing location for the sunset and dessert was nice but both times we have been we waitied a long time for desserts. The garlic bread was just awful, almost undercooked. Good night overall

Apparently this is cheesy garlic bread. They asked how the meal was and we politely mentioned that the garlic bread was really dry and had no cheese on it, we didn't eat any of it. But they billed us for it anyway, so for that, have 1 star.

I’ve just left, the food was absolutely amazing but the woman who was giving us our food was shocking, she was rude, slammed food and drinks down on the table and just generally looked fed up with everything. I would strongly recommend AVOIDING this place unless you don’t mind having talking to extremely rude staff.

Not one of the best for a night out, it is the best of best! Perfection and excellence from food, service and atmosphere! Grand sunset views. It is hard to define imperfection for this place. Highly recommended 5*

Not quite sure why this place is so popular. The pizzas where awful. Cheap ingredients and no flavour. For somewhere that only serves one item you'd think that would get it right. The tables where dirty and sticky. There was items on my bill that didn't come and the service was very slow.

Great pizza with lovely views across fistral beach. Always head here when in Newquay, nice walk across the cliffs back to the town that takes about 20mins

Lost our order, had to wait over 40 minutes for 3 takeout pizzas.

Walked inn to dine with wife. No acknowledgement from staff so we seated ourselves only to be told we need to go back to the enterance and wait to be seated by someone! And then there was no1 there. So we left feeling very unwelcome. Great hospitality. Cant comment on the food as we left hungry without even being given a menu!

Ordered large nachos and brownie. The nachos were really flavourful with plenty of cheese gauc and sour cream and also Salsa very much filling. However, the brownie was disappointing and very stone like would not recommend the vegan one.

This place has stunning views, chill vibes, fantastic thin crust sourdough pizza (coming from a New Yorker). We went there 2x in 5 days. Family/kid friendly. Loved it!

This was such a great find in Newquay. 🤩Food was lovely and the views were great. If you book , you get to eat in the main area with the really nice views but if you’re a walk in you’re not in the main restaurant area. But we still had a nice window view. And enjoyed it very much!

Sadly it’s losing its touch; going to way of many now where “service” looks like bringing the food from the kitchen to the table, which in this case hasn’t even been cleaned since the previous guests. Pizzas are still solid. Tater tots soggy and clumsily seasoned. Most egregious was cider served warm…

Great pizzas and desserts, recommend the cheesecake. Can't beat the setting either.

The food and view is unreal. Service is quite slow but worth it for the food as its delicious. I would highly recommend the tater tots!

Best pizzas we've ever had at the stables. And we love the cider tasting flights and trying all the different ones. All topped off with fantastic views of Fistral come rain or shine.

Most amazing pizza we've ever had in the UK! Made with sourdough and the most tastiest ingredients this is far exceptionally amazing! You can easily finish a pizza by yourself - meaning that the dough is just perfect and not heavy at all. It was the same quality for dining in and taking away as well! Hopefully will come back soon! Staff was very friendly as well, the location just gorgeously overlooking the sea! I don't think we've experienced anything more delightful!

5th visit here and it only ever gets better! Gorgeous views over Fistral beach and head, service is always friendly and the pizza delightful!

Last man standing restaurant in terms of the Stable Pizzas & FORMERLY Pies. The owner didn't cave in to fullers ridiculous changes and kept the fan favourite beesting cider amongst other goodies. Unfortunately the large selection of ciders has gone, I have NO CLUE what fullers was thinking, they literally butchered the stable group, half the branches closed down after Thier "improvements" The pies were a favourite too. Please don't change anymore!

This our favourite place to eat out . The view is stunning and food and service fantastic . Highly recommend 👌

Great food as usual, good choices and combinations, plus great location. Sadly the customer service does not match up. 30 mins after our order the food still hadn’t arrived - there were only 2 occupied tables when we arrived who were eating/had eaten and 1 new table ordered before us. We had to chase twice. Other tables who came in and ordered at least 10-15 minutes after us, had theirs and were nearly finished before we received ours. The staff member serving us at that time was rude and for want of a better word, stroppy, with no apology whatsoever. When we finally got our food, one order was wrong, another cold. When we complained we were told it was because of all the changes to our orders - we hadn’t changed anything. 3 standard pizzas with a 4th having an extra topping. It was the table next to us who changed their pizzas. We must have been put through together. The manager apologised but too late really. It could have been avoided if the staff had told just there was going to be a delay and apologised. A very disappointing birthday evening.

Great food, variety of choice! Amazing views

This pizza was very bland and the crust was really pale. Topping was scrapped on with little cheese. The tomato sauce had no seasoning I could taste and mine was supposed to have basil and Parmesan and there was a couple of basil leafs placed on pizza and no Parmesan. I have eaten in many Italian pizzerias across U.K. and in Italy and the owner clearly does not understand how to make a good pizza. I saw a few different pizza places online and regret I chose this one.

Went here for the first time last Tues evening, my partner & I ordered two pizzas both with extra cheese, when my partner received his, there was no extra cheese, you could barely see the cheese, looked as though they’d forgotten to put it on, anyway spoke to the waitress about it, instead of apologising and saying that’s fine will get that sorted, she was a bit argumentative saying that the cheese was all underneath, you could barely see the cheese, especially not extra cheese, on my pizza there was lots of cheese, but on my partners no there wasn’t. It was a lovely restaurant, beautiful views, once the order was right, the pizzas wasn’t too bad, it was the lack of good customer service that let the place down.

Had a fantastic meal with the family and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly!

Absolutely breathtaking views and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.

The view is great but apart from that it was just overpriced dissapointing Pizza. Small, dry and not much topping or flavour. Maybe we needed to pay the £1.75 for tiny bowl of dip to help get it down. It is a shame as the menu descriptions make the pizzas sound amazing (and I love a good pizza) but would not eat here again.

Delicious sourdough pizzas with a stunning sea view. It can get really busy around sunset, so I would recommend making a reservation and requesting a table with a sea view. Gluten free pizza is available at an additional cost to regular. They have the biggest selection of ciders I have ever seen, my girlfriend swears by the Sheppy’s Elderflower one. I wish there were more vegetarian pizza options. Although I have ordered both the Proper Margherita and the Aubergine Kenobi and both were excellent!

Absolute staple to visit if you’re around Newquay/Fistral. Perfect for a post surf dinner or a dinner with the best view! Request a table by the window at sunset and watch the surfers while eating. Great selection of pizzas and other food, plus loads of drink choices. Insanely good gluten free pizza bases, although I wish there wasn’t an additional charge for them.

Really tasty food, plenty of parking and brilliant views. Had two pizzas, two lots of tater-tots and two alcoholic drinks, price was just over £40 very good value.

We visited the stable on Saturday for a bottomless brunch to celebrate a friends hen do I just want to say a Massive thankyou to the team for an amazing afternoon and for going the extra mile and making it so special for us, the food and service was amazing and we have already booked the next one 😄 would definitely recommend if anyone hasn’t been

We visited whilst on holiday. Really nice place , great atmosphere and lovely food. Only downfall was parking .On arrival for our booking on 24th march 2024 at 7.30 pm I asked about parking charges and was told by a member of staff it was free to park after 6.30 pm and was told not to worry about it. Ive now received a parking ticket for £60 which was a nice surprise this morning when we arrived home . Expensive visit now costing £130 for 3 pizzas , 3 drinks and a starter of nachos. I phoned the restaurant to ask why I was given this information and was told it is not free and the member of staff should not have said it was free and he will be speaking with the staff. The car park is private and parking is nothing to do with them. I think there should be something in place with the restaurant owners and the car park owners for customers. Be aware it’s your responsibility to pay to park . All in all the place is worth visiting.

Good little pit stop on the way home to Cornwall after flying into Bristol airport. Decent value breakfast and nice service.

Excellent food and very well catered for coeliac and vegan. Try to eat in less than 1 hour and get free parking (please check this doesn't change). Just don't sit under the big fan in the middle of the restaurant- makes you chilly. Good selection of drinks and some very nice desserts to finish. Nice, clean toilets.

The piazzas were wonderful! Service was 5 🌟. Definitely give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

NO STARS!! My daughter in law came for dinner with my son. It will be the first and last time . As a coeliac she ordered a gluten free pizza and was given a standard pizza, luckily she noticed before eating as it took 5 minutes for a member of staff to acknowledge. When the right pizza came it was beyond disappointing-enough toppings for just one slice on the whole pizza. It’s also disgusting that there is an excessive price hike for having a gf pizza base. The attitude and efficiency of the staff was also sadly disappointing therefore wouldn’t recommend the stable to anybody

Great service, views and atmosphere! The cider paddles are an absolute must - so nice to try a range of different ones. Also the best pizza I have ever had - highly recommend the mushroom pizza and tater tots!

(2 separate occasions) came in august as a group of 7 on a night out as we were staying in a campsite about 20 mins away food: ordered various starters (garlic bread, tater tots (superb)) shreddy or not pizza and a biscoff cheesecake for dessert. Menu has so many options and vegetarian/vegan alternatives are also there. All food across the group was amazing so we came back 2 days later and we were not let down at all! Kudos to the chefs :) Service: Staff are excellent and service is quick from the door to the table , ordering food and drinks etc… Atmosphere/Vibe: 10/10. Amazing large windows with a view out to the sea and in the evening there are views of the sunset.

We were in Newquay for three nights and we ate here all three nights because the food and service was just that good. Nothing beats good pizza by the water. Great nachos and cider too.

The BEST pizza of my life! From the minute we got through the doors we were met by friendly smiles and faces and a lovely and cozy restaurant with a holiday ambiance. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I had the blazing saddle pizza and my husband the BFC. We both agreed it was the best pizza we’ve had in our life’s. The base was thin and crispy and the topping absolutely to die for. We’d come to Cornwall again simply for this pizza! Thanks so much!

Had a pretty disappointing experience. We had a table booked for 8 people, they tried taking our order when there was only half the group and then ignored our table for 40 mins. We had to ask if we could order our food, no one seemed that bothered. Food was tasty but several ingredients missing. I had Mac and cheese, which said it had spring onions and peas, didn't receive either in my dinner. Then we waited by the bar to pay for our food, to which we then had to hunt down a member of staff so we could pay. Pretty poor service, don't think I will be going back any time soon. As a local to the town I find this very disappointing.

This place was cold, and lifeless, menu was limited, Beer choice was poor too.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal here. A lovely window bench with a sea view, sun blazing in and the tide was out. Stunning, couldn't want for a better location. Staff are friendly, welcoming, informative and attentive. The three pizzas we had were all lovely, great flavours, cooked well, nice and hot, well distributed toppings, a great selection of ciders and the tasting cider rack was great. They were also very welcoming of my dog. Had a lovely meal. Will be back again. Thank you.

Meal was ok, but had to wait 5 mins for sauces with our meal, then 85mins for two kids ice creams, after asking 8 times various staff we eventually got the ice creams for our children. Very disappointed with the overall service

Very popular pizza restaurant and fantastic views of Fistral beach if you're lucky to get one of the tables near the windows. Staff were friendly and helpful. A big shout out to the lad from the kitchen who helped take photos for us without giving to be asked (and then checked our food was good later). The menu is all done via a QR code, including payment, and then food is brought to the table. The pizzas were nice and fresh, my only small criticism is we like dips with our pizzas they there were none that we could see - not a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

Visited tonight, not a huge pizza fan but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff were very helpful (thank you Charlie!) and the young lad who was working to greet customers and generally seemed to be running around doing lots of things, had a brilliant helpful attitude. The views was pretty amazing as well. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Will definitely visit again!

Over priced average food at best. £16 for an average pizza, of which the topping only covered half of it. The choice of food on the menu is also very Limited. The only thing going for it is the view of fistral beach

Came here recently with my girlfriend and had a great time, the pizza’s tasted amazing and were really generously topped, loads of great ciders to choose from and brilliant views of the beach. We were served by Aimee who I want to give a shout out for as she was brilliant, super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again when back in Cornwall.

The staff here work so hard! We've been to The Stable on many occasions and we've always had a good time. As someone with very difficult dietary requirements, (some medical restrictions, some intolerances) finding places to eat can be difficult, but the team here make it effortless. The gluten free pizzas are delicious and the staff are very thorough in checking dietary requirements. There's a great choice of drinks and the view is always great, no matter what the weather (we once sat outside and ate our pizza in mist and still loved it!). Special shout out to Keizha, who we have seen on several visits and has always looked after us brilliantly. Keep up the good work!

We came on Thursday and we’re served by Aimee - who was WONDERFUL!! Pizza was great, my partner asked for extra chilli’s and they really went extra (which he loved). Service was amazing, we got to try a lot of different ciders, the restaurant was clean and calm and the views are just amazing. Would definitely come back!!!

We had the miso chicken noodle salad and it was so delicious. The dressing tasted divine and the smell of the roasted sesame oil brought out that oriental authenticity of the dish. We’re supposed to book the the restaurant below but it turned out to be a good mistake. A blessing in disguise! Good we decided to stay. I spoke to the friendly staff who is half Filipino and told her about the mistake of the booking but turned out to be a good one. All of the staff are friendly and thoughtful.

Had lunch here, what a great pizza and sides! Nice to have some different takes on the usual, burger style one was delicious accompanied by delicious home made slaw and garlic bread. Excellent service too!

Been here plenty of times and generally been ok. Last few times, including last night, it was too busy- servers were run off their feet. They had run out of all pasta (Mac and cheese) dishes. Run out of a few juice options for the kids too. Wait staff just seemed cheesed off. We waited ages for food and drinks, which must have had ice in as by the time they arrived were diluted down. Just a real disappointment all round

We enjoyed a family meal here before we headed back to the north east. This was by far was the best meal we had over the weekedn. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff really friendly. I would go back any time for the sourdough pizzas. Well done. Absolutely lush.
