Hi, I went here with work for 20 people and had pre ordered food to help speed things up. On the day we were told there were only 2 Out of 7 steaks free. And I believe there was an issue with the lamb too. Food took a while to arrive and the chicken was burnt, fish was over battered, and the pad Thai was untouched by my colleagues. The starters were pretty small too. When we formally complained, there was acknowledgement and apologies but no offer of any compensation (we offered to continue paying fully for the drinks but felt good was unfair). A chaser email was sent and we’ve yet for receive a response.

Encontramos este pequeño tesoro por suerte. La comida perfecta. Sirve rápidamente y los mejores que se encuentran en Londres durante los dos días. Cobrado incluso mi teléfono para mí. Gracias especiales a Patrycja.

Me gustaría volver.

Visited for dinner and drinks after work with 3 work colleagues. After ordering and paying for our meals, we saw a mouse running around the restaurant. We called the waitress over to advise her of our sighting. Her sarcastic response was 'what would you like me to do about it, this is central London you know'The food was good, service ok, but we will NEVER return.

Quirky little place, love the vintage couches and some odd seating arrangements but it has a very relaxed feel. Love that it has local ales and beers, which is great touch and A £3 menu for beer. I would come again for lunch, but this was only a quick visit. It was unclear what the place was called only from reading of the menu I became aware. Love the sharer board idea but think they should have a dessert one too.

Went with work for drinks and a meal after a conference. At first it was very calm but did get busier, which you would expect on a Friday night in London. Service was good, atmosphere was brilliant and the food was amazing. I would recommend the Chalcroft farm Reuben burger which only cost £12, one of the best burgers I have ever had, just to note though on the menu it states that it comes with fat chips, I will tell you now that these are FAT chips! Brilliant restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone for a small bite at lunch, nice evening meal or drinks after work!Pros -FoodDrinksServiceAtmosphereCons -NONE

Yet another pub/restaurant in the area that is built to the same formula. There is no USP for this place but if I were struggling to find one, it would be the nice sofas and the staff tolerance to all-afternoon drinkers. If pushed to choose out of the Pavilion, Williamson's or this place, this would be where I would spend my lunchtime.

This is a Fullers pub (as is the Pavillion just around the corner) so it always has an interesting range of beers. It is not the most atmospheric pub in the world, on the ground floor of a pretty uninspiring building. But it is clean, you can usually get a table (other than after work on a Thursday or Friday- when best avoided), and the food is pretty decent. It has no pretentions to be a michelin starred place- but if you want some tasty food, good beer, and don't want to feel like you are being ripped off- it ticks the boxes.

This pub just isn't for me, there's not a great deal wrong with the place, it's clean and doesn't have the morbid atmosphere of a weather-spoons but in its own way this pub is equally depressing. I and others alike agree that feeling comfortable whilst in Fine Line is almost impossible. No matter where you sit or stand you're always in someone's way and it just makes for a very uneasy atmosphere. As for the food, it's below average. Portion size represents value for money but it isn't particularly well cooked, I've had all three of the burgers on the menu and they fall apart in your hands. The chips come in this strange rosemary salt which is overpowering and certainly doesn't work. Don't get me wrong don't avoid at all costs but there a many better pubs for atmosphere and food In the square mile that I'd recommend spending time in first.

Popped into this restaurant for lunch this week, selected only because it was close to the office and didn't have much time. For a modern city bar, they had a good selections of draft bitters (as I believe it is owned by Fullers) I guess not surprising. Selection of fast food was good with interesting variety (especially burgers). I found this very good quality and tasty, with excellent crispy chips. The only criticism the price (I still find it difficult to justify £12 for a burger) but as in the city not totally surprising. They also had a lunchtime special which looked possible better value. Staff were friendly, but took some time to acknowledge our presence when arriving, so much so we eventually found our own table and went to order at the bar. So, all in all recommended, will go back and perhaps try the lunchtime special.

This was a last minute choice, having failed to find a table in a number of pubs in the area. We were tired and hungry and just about to give up when we remembered this bar and were grateful to get a table. Being a City pub and December we weren't surprised that it was a little noisy, but we were still able to hold a conversation and the food was excellent; two of us had burgers and our friends fish and chips. The chips are worth a mention as we all commented on the unusual taste and I wish I had asked what was added to them to make them so tasty.

A number of us went here on Friday as a result of ridiculous queues to get into vertigo 42!! We wanted a drink but weren't prepared to queue for it. The Fine Line had great staff who were really friendly and attentive something which is not always available in London bars! I ordered some food but on realising it hadn't arrived went to ask the barman concerning its whereabouts, what happened next left me pleasantly surprised! They refunded not only the food but the drinks that accompanied the order by way of apology....how nice is that?! I still received the food together with a refund for drinks! What great customer service - we will be back! One happy customer! I strongly recommend!

I hate writing non positive reviews, but Trip Advisor is for honest opinions so ....Plus points: we got an outside table on a sunny day in Bow Churchyard. The wine was delicious. It was lunchtime, so I felt I should eat lunch as opposed to just drink it, so I chose a burger, which is something I very rarely do.It was over cooked and not very warm. Average chips. All in all - where's the fun in that?

I had very tasty food here, I ordered the chicken katsu burger the first time I went, and had a long island iced tea which was made very well by the barman. I also had the pulled pork sliders, which were delicious. I was here for dinner, and it was VERY busy with city folk having post work drinks, but the staff members still managed to be very attentive to us who were dining there. The second trip I had the classic burger, which was juicy and the beef was flavourful. The drinks are well priced, and the fullers beers (Frontier was my favourite) are really great. This time I was here for lunch. If I am in the area again I would definitely return, the food was good, the service was perfect, and the beers and cocktails are good.

We went to the Fine Line for a private function, so our views on the food relate to buffet style fayre and not sit down food. The sandwiches were fresh and varied and the chicken and chorizo skewers in particular, were very tasty. Being as I was designated driver, I had a latte, which was probably better than most of the National coffee establishments. The staff were very friendly an attentive, the bar very relaxing and the toilets clean.

I was there today with my wife and after I had eaten got a coffee I saw the little fat chubby guy cough and sneeze over the food he was taking to someone, the place is not very clean to be honest and the toilets stink badly they truly have no hygiene in this place at all, the chips were cooked in the cheapest oil it tasted vile the batter on the fish tasted the same the guys hands that were cooking the food the little chubby guy his hands were very dirty and I saw him pick is nose I was shocked this guy as no hygiene at all it’s made me feel sick That I went there I had my back to them and my wife kept telling me to look around and I did, there seemed to what looked like mouse dropping next to our table next to the wall my wife said what’s this and he said don’t worry we will not charge you extra for that this guy should not be working in there are all the other two boys and lady are well mannered but I will not be going back to that place ever again there is nothing to dry your hands on after washing them in the toilet and it really smelled bad this place is not for me with mouse droppings and dirty table and very unhygienic cook if I could give a zero score I truly would it was that bad meaning very bad

A typical, excellent English type restaurant with good food, interesting decor and architecture in handy location at end of The Strand. Friendly waiter been there for years.

The service at the restaurant was shockingly bad. It’s unclear what criteria the waitstaff use to decide how to treat their guests—maybe they flip a coin, or perhaps they judge based on appearance. If you're a tourist dressed in casual, comfortable clothes without flashy designer logos, chances are you'll be treated poorly. Initially, you might be greeted warmly and your food served promptly. But when it comes time to pay the bill, everything changes. If your Apple Pay happens to fail (even if it's due to their terminal), you'll get judgmental looks as if you're some kind of beggar. They’ll continue to treat you this way until you pull out a physical card to pay. After payment, the server will simply turn their back on you—no "thank you for coming," no acknowledgment of the terminal issue. They’ll just walk away without a goodbye. Honestly, we were lucky not to get a kick in the back on our way out. I've experienced bad service before, but this was a first. It was so frustrating that I had to go back and tell the server directly: the food was good, but the service was terrible.
