Food was actually very good and quite reasonably priced. And the young kids serving and helping did a great job. Experience soured by behaviour of manageress towards some young girls who "only" ordered a bowl of chips and had the temerity to take up a table space. Seemingly not understanding that kids might not have the money to afford more, her performative outrage was embarrassing and a poor advert for Fika Room.

It was delightful to be able to sit outside in the sunshine overlooking The Market Place. Delicious decaffeinated Americano that tasted of coffee, not some weak imitation, was a great treat. The small breakfast was excellent, served hot and as a person with a big appetite is was sufficient. Friendly service.

A warm welcome for all your doggies here at the Fika Room cafe! We have visited several times now with our rather large Bernese Mountain Dog and we are always greeted warmly and have been happy with the staff, the cakes, the drinks and the way that dogs are accepted and welcomed indoors. The staff have always been chatty and very pleasant. Well done! We will be back!

We use this Cafe fairly regularly and have never had a bad meal/snack. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. There is always a nice atmosphere with chatter with life going on. Today we had 2 teas and a bacon sandwich and a bacon and brie with cranberry panini for my wife. You can always tell a good chef when they can make something very simple taste soooo good! The bacon sandwich was just 2 slices of white bread with bacon but because of the quality of the bacon, cooked well and perfect bread in the correct proportion it was magnificent. Similarly with my wife's panini. Today we didn't have a cake ...as my better half is watching the calories...but the Malteser cake is to die for from past experience. The loose tea is always excellent and obviously good quality, served with a scrummy chocolate. We always have a nice experience for not a lot of money and would highly recommend.

We came for lunch and had great food and drinks. The lovely. There was a wasp flying about that the kids didn’t like so they brought a little pot of jam out and put it on another table to keep it away.

i love this cafe i always go with friends and get milkshakes. It is very good quality because once i went with my dad and got a hot chocolate which was perfect. Although it is quite expensive i still recommend as it is very good quality. and staff are very nice but once got told off for forgetting to close the door but it was raining and we needed shelter somewhere else as it was full.

The Fika Room is a very smart cafe ideally located in the centre of the beautiful village of Easingwold. They have a decent menu of hot and cold meals, snacks and sandwiches as well as cakes, scones etc. We were only in for tea and coffee, both of which were generous in size and tasty. Service was also very good.

Love this local cafe. Lovely atmosphere and location. Coffee and cakes here are very nice - best chai latte for miles! The prices are a little random, it seems - a cheeseburger is £5.50 and a toasted teacake is £3.25. Nevertheless, I always enjoy a visit here for a coffee and piece of cake.

We just managed to get in before they shut on Thursday afternoon after another busy day exploring the local area. We only went in for coffee but, it was lovely and clean, and obviously, they take great care as they had a few awards up on the wall for Best Coffee House...Wish we had had more time to go in more on our stay.

We went into Easingwold on Jubilee Sunday not expecting much to be open but we found this nice little place at 2pm still open, We sat outside as it was a nice day and was greeted by a lovely young lady from Chicago. My autistic son was very noisy and asked if she was American and she was very friendly in her reply so thank you. We decided to order a latte each and the kids ordered a milkshake (lots of good flavours to choose from) we all enjoyed our drinks very much, We also ordered curry and chips, cheesy chips and chips for the girls (fries for our American readers) The food although only chips was delicious. We will be back one day for lunch when camping in the area

Nice coffee. Scones were fine but not as nice or as large as they used to be. Other cafes tend to give a small piece of Brownie or Flapjack with the coffee but on our recent visit they placed only a Malteser on the saucer - which then melted against the hot cup. “Cheese chips” were a little underdone but edible with grated cheddar sprinkled over - not melted on. Could do better.

It's so lovely to finally have decent vegan takeaway options available locally - and the delivery was a huge bonus, too. The pizza we ordered tonight is the best pizza we've had since becoming vegan five years ago - so that's quite a statement! Far...

Quality is good. However, the portion sizes have massively decreased, the Parmesan for example is half the size it used to be and is very very thin. Chips are only provided to share between the table, so this is a clear way of trying to save money. The Bay Horse always used to be consistently good when booking a large group. Unfortunately , this will be the last time I visit until they sort out their portion sizes for the price they charge I ordered and paid for drinks at the bar which cost me £40. 2 pints of Pepsi 2 J20 2 sparkling water 2 half pints of lemonade 1 lime and soda 2 lattes

We called on spec today for a quick lunch prior to visiting friends in the area. The welcome was friendly. Staff and customers were most welcoming to our two little dogs. How nice this was. The food was most acceptable . Decent-sized portions and a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables. Pity not all pubs are so accommodating.

Lovely cosy cafe. Arrived unannounced, with a large group of people with additional needs but were made very welcome and seated very quickly. The staff were very kind, patient and helpful. A good choice of lunchtime meals and snacks which everyone enjoyed. Would visit again when in the area.

Quirky little coffee shop with great food. Small carpark, but street parking available. Popular with walkers and cyclists.
