Stopped for a quick refresh after a walk and the service was very good. Great selection of drinks at a good price and a lovely location on the waterfront . Great views from the upstairs lounge and a garden across the road with a separate serving station if you prefer to be outdoors

Nice view and nice Burger on outdoor. Strongly recommend the crabby bunless Burger w/t mayo which may be the signature dish for the pub. It is quite close to the swcp section before the ferry crossing to Teignmouth for continuing the track to Dawlish. I love the way I serve without chips, no worries for keto patrons like me...the mini coslaw was a little bit busy,maybe just Cherry tomatoes green salad is enough for me. If I happened to walk past the inn , maybe will get a different bunless burger w/t sauce to try.

We love the FBI, Sunday afternoons with live music and friends, nothing better!

The Ferry Boat Inn appears to have had a recent refurbishment, as you walk past it looks really inviting with it's dining area right on Shaldon beach, we thought we'd give their burgers a try after looking through the menu board. Happy to say the burgers were deliciously tasty and well put together with a little fresh salad. Plus, service with a smile which is always welcome particularly on a dull summers day. There are plenty of photos of their burgers 🍔 online so I posted a few of the beach from the dining area instead. Recommended, even on a dull day.

Great entertainment on a Sunday.

Very close to the landing point of the real ferry, and a magnate for tourists. The interior is small a cosy, with a room upstairs that has a great view over the beach. The outside terrace seats opposite the pub are the prized in summer.

Burgers and beers in the sunshine. Staff were really helpful and food was really tasty. Vegan and vegetarian options. Beer was lovely especially the Salcombe FBI Gold which I am told is only available from the FBI. No better place to be in the sun.

Manager kicked three children out onto the beach to eat their ice creams (which were bought somewhere else) after the adults had just spent £40 on a round of drinks. Exceptionally poor judgement.

Been there twice now. They do a lovely IPA on tap. The staff are lovely and the views are amazing. Will visit again.

Probably one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had with an amazing view of the sea to make it even better.

A little gloomy towards the back as it goes so deep into the building, but a nice atmosphere. There are three areas - the bar as described, an upstairs seating area with great views of Teignmouth over the estuary, and a covered area on the beach which is right outside the pub just across the road. An outdoors kitchen on the beach part. It was too early in the season (March) for food service when we were there. A pleasant and friendly pub with some local real ales as well as lots of other choice of beverages.

Wow - we were brought here by friends for their Sunday night music and had a wonderful time, we'll definitely be returning - standing on the beach whilst drinking a beer really made.our evening.

My go to place for a pint. Lovely sitting out the back on the beach when it's not too busy. Sometimes the entertainment can be a little over bearing.

A lovely pub situated on Shaldon beach front ,,the actual beer garden is actual on Shaldon Beach looking towards Teingmouth, a beautiful location . Where food is served outside and live music on Sundays. A wide selection of Beers and spirits are served by the friendly hard working staff.

Lovely position right on the river bit of a steep walk down from the car park but we'll worth it plenty of pub classics on the menu and very interesting specials board all cooked fresh and delicious

A lovely traditional village pub by the sea. Great selection of beers and ciders, spirits and snacks. Sit inside in the cosy bar, or outside with views across the River Teign.

Very popular. Not much chance of getting an outdoor table if the sun is out. Great food from the bbq but order early as we had 90 minute wait! Definitely worth a visit.
