The Fenton Cafe in Selby

Since finding out about this place we often go down it's a cafe with a fantastic view of Aircraft coming and going East Leeds Airport. The food is lovely the coffee is great and the girls working the cafe are very friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you go in

Lovely spot for a coffee and bacon sandwich in the sun, weather permitting! Nice place to chill out and relax and watch the planes go by

As a cycling group we have been here before. The food is good. Unfortunately the place is always cold. Also they need more staff. They take about 45 mins to serve the food that's once you've been served which takes a long time as well. There is only one women serving at the counter, making the coffee, tea etc and taking the orders tound to kitchen. Needs to be bit slicker. Sorry but tried it a few times and we had enough. New pastures required. Sad as food is good!

We come most days to the cafe for a coffee with our dog Leo I highly recommend a bacon and mushroom sarnie always spot on Staff lovely always give a little treat to Leo as well he loves coming here

I visited this cafe three years ago and gave it five stars, and it’s been taken over since then, but visited today with my wife and grand kids. We had four meals two chicken burgers and two beef burgers. The food was excellent, well presented and very flavourful, staff very friendly and helpful. All in all as good if not better than my last visit. Keep up the good work and we will be back.

Great coffee and good food. Friendly and efficient service. I would recommend any cyclists that are in the area to give it a try.

I go regularly, coffee and breakfasts are excellent, although food delivery can be a bit sow, but it is worth waiting for. My experience with the staff is they are all friendly. Never had cause to complain.

Great spot for a bite to eat, great food and fab atmosphere, very accommodating on the fussy kids and picky eaters

Hubby and I called here for a pit stop whilst riding our motorbikes, so glad we did. We received a warm welcome from everyone. We sat outside on the decking watching the planes and helicopters, fantastic! We both had a coffee which were excellent and then a breakfast sandwich each. I opted for bacon and hubby sausage. We love how they support the local butchers and bakery, you could certainly tell from the quality of their food, both were truly delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely call again when in the area and would highly recommend.

I love this cafe! It is such a lovely area, the staff are great and the food is amazing. If you want to get to the cafe, you have to go to the right-hand side and press the buzzer for the cafe and they let you in. Lots of parking and a great way to watch the aircraft.

I have been wanting to go for a while as an ex RAF Church Fenton chef wanted to try it out. On arrival tried to buzz in on the gate but failed so had to call security instead.......on arrival staff were all outside smoking. Found a a table but very dirty and sticky so moved to another, not much better. Menu holders cracked and dirty, not a great first impression. Menu is very expensive, current teacake £3 and a sausage sandwich on a budget bread cake and two cheap sausages for £4.50....WoW. Over 14 quid including the two coffees!!!! Overall a very overated unclean, expensive and disappointing experience that we will not be returning to. Such a shame as has great potential.

Lovely cafe, fantastic food and friendly staff! Had an amazing breakfast sandwich in a lovely soft while bread. Very well priced too!

This spot is exellent for a nice breakfast. Lunches are spot on too. I would highly recommend the nice friendly atmosphere.

If you want tepid coffee served grumpily, then this is the place for you. Nice coffee well served then try somewhere else.

Great place to eat and watch the planes food was great staff very friendly. Apparently it has just been taken over. Recommend 100% staff so friendly and chatted about the new menu and airport. We will be back.

Visited yesterday as part of a biking group. Excellent parking, prompt table service and ham salad sandwich was excellent and arrived promptly.

Called in Saturday lunchtime. Waited 15 minutes for someone to bring a menu. Nobody did. Tried to get the attention of a staff member and was ignored. Eventually went to the counter and waited a further 5 minutes, only to be barked at by a staff member that no food orders were being taken. Said I would be happy to just have tea and cake and was abruptly told to sit down. At least 3 people behind me at the counter waiting ages to pay. Staff were also being rude to other customers. I gave up in the end. The place was only a third full so not busy at all. Funny how the waitress found time to serve her friend who ignored the queue though. Before you reply that this was a one off, I received similar delays and rudeness last time I was here a month ago.
