A dozen walkers arrived here on a rainy lunchtime and were made very welcome. Spacious but comfortable and well presented. Great!

I am relatively new to the area and I was craving for a decent pub to go for a roast on a Sunday or watch the occasional football game. I have to say that the Fellowship Inn has surpassed the expectations and is by far the best pub around. Excellent Sunday Roast, the best Scotch eggs I've ever had and good selection of beers. And they show football games without having a rough vibe on match day as many other pubs have. The staff is nice and they go the extra mile to please customers. It still lacks a bit of atmosphere sometimes but it's getting better as every time I go it is busier. Give it try, it won't disappoint!

First visit since the pub re-opened, with new name and new operators, on 21st September 2022. The lovely dark wood interior and the mish mash of tables, chairs and seating booths thankfully remain untouched. 3 handpumps selling local cask ales. The service was friendly although a bit rough round the edges as staff settle in but that is understandable. Just found the £5 per pint real ale price just a bit stiff for the area.

Went to see the latest Star Wars at the Bellingham Film Palace and had a drink in the pub first. Great service and the food looked good, although we didn’t eat. Then took our drinks to the cinema downstairs. What a revelation! Recently renovated, it looks like a old-fashioned cinema, but beautifully laid out, and with a pint. Sound and visuals are first-class and the ticket price for London is a steal. Go!

The Fellowship is still quite a new opening in the area and the kitchen has only just started to get the wind in its sails. Sunday roast has only been on the table for the last three weeks courtesy of the humorously named "White Men can't Jerk". We were pleased to find that the food was very good, meat was of good quality, fat and gristle removed and extremely tender, flavoursome and well seasoned. The accompaniments had been carefully prepared with particularly good choice of veg, thick gravy and crispy roast potatoes. We live locally and will definitely be making a beeline for the Fellowship on a Sunday. The bar stocks a good choice of beers and wines, something for everyone. And the building is beautiful and the cinema is brilliant! We love the Fellowship!

We had a birthday gathering with friends here. It's a lovely pub with beautiful furnishing and decoration. It was empty for a very long time and has now been refurbished, with a cinema and other stuff going on here. The meals we had were delicious. The waiter a young guy was excellent, very polite and very helpful. He arranged the birthday cake that we brought in with the candles etc. We all had a lovely time, there was no pressure to clear the tables as a hint to go. All in all a decent pub.

We have friends who live here, so we decided to have a bit to eat. They only had a temporary menu! We only wanted something small, so we asked the bar assistant if we could have childs meals! She wasn't too pleased, but did oblige! We had a small burger each, with sweet potatoe frys, which was just enough. All in all the food was lovely. The pub has been refurbished as it was empty for years. The decor is very nice. Good for couples, families and friends. They just need to get the menu sorted. Good luck to them. We will definitely be back. Really nice decent pub.

So we went to the healthy lifestyle festival on saturday, and feeling hungry, went into this new kid on the block. New because it belongs to the community, honours the bellingham memory of Henry Cooper, and serves good beer and food. Disabled access was very good, there is a lift to the lower ground area where the cinema has been renovated and provided both adult and films for adults, so please visit and enjoy a plate of fish and chips, a beer, glass of wine or just have a look at the renovations.

Came here for a birthday and was really looking forward to it because of the reviews, the staff was all great and the food was lovely, they had a garage night on and I’m not sure if this is what brought in the wrong crowd but it was fight after fight, girls fighting, boys fighting, and at the end of the night we had to wait behind till everyone had gone due to a drunk trying to intimidate us.. The DJ himself was really good and also the female DJ was lovely but the atmosphere really let down the visit.

I was dubious this place would ever re-open but it has (June 2019) with many of the old rooms previously out of use now all back to see and use. There is more to come over the next few weeks with a cinema and other community and music spaces to be commissioned. Lots of the dark wood panelling has been retained giving it a distinctive preserved inter-war period feel. On the downside I found £4.90 for a pint of bulk standard local real;ale too expensive to encourage me to visit often as I rarely pay that even in central London venues. Not a competitive price for the neighbourhood.
