Best steak in southport. Sons birthday treat, a beast of a tomahawk. Cote de boef or ribeye if you cant manage the big one, also great burgers

Beautiful fillet steak! Going to be honest, walking in myself and husband thought had we made a mistake as there was only one other table occupied. We were so wrong though!! Fillet steak one of the best we've had, chunky chips were perfectly cooked, tasty side salad and the peppercorn sauce was perfection! We've been to alot of steak restaurants where the peppercorn sauce is from a packet......not this place! We even joked with the waiter and chef asking if it's genuinely made from scratch or a packet before we ordered it. Five year old son had chicken goujons and chips beans. Well the chicken was actual chicken breast, not rubbish processed meat. Delicious crisp breadcrumb too. Son really enjoyed his, he's asd and particularly picky with food but he devoured nearly all of it!! Lovely place, definitely be back and will recommend!! Chef was so kind and even knocked some money off the bill due to small steaks, we didn't have any problem with the steaks! Nice touch the chef coming out to serve our food too and for a chat, really appreciated that. Waiter was friendly and polite too.

Absolutly amazing warm and welcoming place. Food was absolutly delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definatly be returning when we come to visit southport again.

One of the best steaks I've ever had! We came for one of my parent's 60th birthdays in September and everyone was so blown away by the quality that we came back a couple of weeks later to celebrate another family birthday! The service was quite quick despite us being a fairly large group.The size and variety of the menu is impressive especially considering it's quite a small venue. There's tonnes of choice even for vegetarians and children but the steaks are just on another level! So tender with a delicious, smokey flavour and lots of cuts to choose from! Beautifully presented food and ample portions even for the children.The price is extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the meat. Much better than what you'd get at certain chain steakhouses for a fraction of the price. The service was excellent, looking forward to our next trip already! Truly a hidden gem!

2nd review just as good as 1st. Absolutely no change in quantity, quality, staff remain happy and attentive. Only difference being a more extensive menu.

We came here on Saturday night. I had sirloin steak which was overcooked but enjoyable all the same, the port and Stilton sauce was quite thin and lacked punch. My husband had the 8 oz fillet steak which he thoroughly enjoyed.. the sides were tasty. The wine was quite pricey we thought. But we have noticed most restaurants have hiked up their prices which is a shame. We’d definitely go again. Thank you.

Whilst having a wine in a bar in Southport, someone recommended this restaurant to us and wow what a find. The restaurant was so lovely inside, staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back very soon.

This was our second visit to The Feather Blade: we were here in February for a birthday meal. It's a small, cosy place but the steaks are amazing. In February, I had the tomahawk, and my partner had the rump. Both cooked to perfection with unfussy sides (the chips are fabulous!) So, we vowed to return, and we came back in May 2023. Again, the steaks were perfection: we had a ribeye and a sirloin. Again, chef did a great job. Apparently, they do other types of food as well, but I'm not quite sure why you'd go to a steak specialist for pasta or chicken, but I'm sure they're also good! Staff very friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for this kinda quality. Recommended!

Loved it. The food was great we had meatballs, brie bites, mixed veg cooked to perfection and a quality delicious burger. Chunky chips were amazing and the cheesy garlic ciabatta was loaded and cooked to perfection. Good service too. The restaurant is unassuming from outside and could do with being made more visible as upstairs next to Mama Mia and near Prezzo which were far busier but this place is definitely great food and can compete.....

Great place 3rd visit ribeye to die for cooked to perfection . Service spot on thankyou edgar .spring roll starter . Went thursday night 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for 30.00 and was all perfect big portions so no skimping here cant wait to visit again

We were a walk in and luckily there was a free table as the food was excellent It was the best lamb shank I have ever had. Will definitely be returning to try something else 👌👌

Food and service were both amazing. Steak was the best I’ve had anywhere. Only downside was the sticky toffee pudding dessert; really dry and appeared to be out of a cheap tin. Did mention it at the time. Overall superb experience, decor and food though

Even with two layers on and a scarf we were both so cold. The temperature in the restaurant was really cold. Such a shame as the food was delicious.
