Came to the bar Danae was very friendly, great service with a smile, really polite great time with friends, the pubs exterior is really good nice and clean

We came for the £10 main meal and bingo deal this week and last week, and both times it’s been absolutely fantastic! Hayley is amazing, so much energy and happiness, really puts her all in and we all had a lovely evening! All the staff are lovely, checking on us, chatting to my 8 year old, genuinely lovely atmosphere and staff!

Amy the land lady is a different level.had a few issues of late but she put it all right 👌she is a superstar!!!! She makes it the reason to return and return again.AAA+

Went to the farmhouse for a catch up with some wednesday bingo and had a meal and 3 games of bingo for £10 Hayley the wonderful bingo host had everyone laughing from start to finish I did manage to win the booby prize in the charity raffle :) thankyou for a good night hayley, lisa and farmhouse team

We were lucky to get invited to the recent reopening of the Farmhouse What a transformation - looks very modern Have been back a couple of times since for drinks and meals as a couple and with friends Can’t fault the service atmosphere and food even though it’s busy due to the reopening we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks or food Should have taken photos of food really nicely presented but was too busy eating and drinking A little hidden gem in the North of Yate - worth a visit

Good beer, just around the corner from a good Indian takeaway so a pint or two while waiting

Visited the farmhouse with some friends for food and the quiz. Although the staff were friendly, it appeared they were under staffed. Food was okay but the starter came out with the mains even though it was put through as a starter which was disappointing. We asked for no hot honey sauce on the halloumi flatbread and it came out with it. On top of this we had a vegan friend who ended up with a brioche bun (veggie option). Plates weren’t collected either which wasn’t helpful for the quiz so we ended up clearing ourselves. Overall a poor experience

It's a neighborhood bar with a nice environment. The food tastes good and it has a large outdoor TV, so a group of people can watch various sports events!

The steak was too die for. It was perfect. Its really hard to get a decent steak. Wherever we go as a family we are never all happy, but this time we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Compliments to the chefs Kieran and I can't remember the ladies name. 09.07.2024 Lunch

Attended the Local Legends evening here, with Emile Heskey. What a fantastic evening!! Both Heskey and the facilitator were absolutely on point. A really good evening, and the Farmhouse leadership team clearly understands that the most effective management in these events is in the background. The blend was perfect. More of these please if possible.

First England group game and the pub ran like clockwork. All the staff worked their backsides off to ensure serving times were quick at the bar, and the pub was kept clear of used glasses etc. Great atmosphere too, especially in the packed garden with the big screen on.

First time coming for breakfast since the refurbishment. The pub looks great! Very nicely laid out and pretty modern decor. We arrived as the pub opened and Lisa gave us a warm welcome. Cannot fault the breakfast (although there we no mushrooms :() but everything else was lovely and it was ready super fast. Credit to Luke the chef. The boys had a game of pool whilst we waited. Nice food and great atmosphere. We will be coming again! X

Worst roast dinner I’ve ever had in my life if I’m honest the beef was hard and chewy the turkey was just disgusting first and last time eating here

Lovely food and attentive staff

Before renovation, we found the Farmhouse was great value, good food and we were served quickly. Tonight, the first time since we’ve back after the renovation - a very different experience! Waited over 45 minutes for two steaks. Extremely small portion size and small plate. Steak was full of gristle and very disappointing. Sadly won’t be back! It also felt as if the Quiz night was more important than the diners.

This is the second time we have has the Senior menu. It is excellent value for money and great service. Chicken strips with side salad, half Cod fillet, Chocolate brownie and Ice cream. The fish was excellent and the Brownie heavenly.

Went out for what we thought would be a nice family meal and was very disappointed with the food the jacket potato was barley luke warm one side and stone cold the other when served up to us ..the onion rings didn't even look edible just looked sloppy and floppy and undercooked no crisp to them what so ever ..the mac and cheese was cold and only slightly warm in the middle..the salad was nice but the garlic bread was soggy..the burger however was enjoyed and the only dish worth getting.

Thanks to a new management team the pub has transformed itself back the place it use to be

Breakfast was cold not just one breakfast but 5 breakfast was all cold had to send it back to be put in microwave just not right staff and pub lovely over £50 spent waist of money

Grabbed the last available table on a busy Saturday night. What a lovely warm atmosphere there was throughout the pub. All staff were happy and super attentive towards our table, which makes the dining experience all the much better. For how busy it was we only waited 20 minutes for food- the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Fabulously decorated pub and the service to match, a rarity these days. What a transformation this pub has had compared to a year ago

First time at the Farm House since being refurbished. We arrived at mid day to be greeted by Lisa who was friendly. We found a table and ordered, our meal was ready in a short time. The atmosphere was pleasant and Lisa was chatty.

We visited today and had food and drinks, both of which were really good. The pub is also lovely and clean and we were told has recently undergone a refurb. What let the whole experience down for us was one member of staff. We think we heard a fellow team member call her Annie or Danni. She was incredibly rude and made us feel we were a nuisance being there. We were greeted with a face like thunder and a “what do you want?” We then heard her effing and blinding on several occasions at something that clearly wasn’t going right for her. We’ve never seen anyone look so utterly dismal in the workplace. As mentioned, though, the experience other than this was a pleasant one, but others would take serious offence to this member of staff, so it’s worth highlighting. The other staff members were lovely

Still a busy pub even in January. Love the refurbishment and the small plates offer 3 for £13. We had 3 each! The food is fresh and vibrant and the service is relaxed and casual. The doggy station is a valuable asset!

Shocking Christmas meal experience.

Work Christmas party. Food was luke warm, original roast potatoes almost green, missing turkey dinner, when challenged was being heated up - presumably in Microwave, no cheesecakes (despite all being pre-ordered from a set menu the week before as requested) This has always been more of a drinking pub but even being full with dinner reservations and football/rugby watchers there were still only 3 people on the bar!

Came in for a reunion meal with friends. Atmosphere was great and the food was lovely. Amy was very friendly when serving us. Will be returning soon! Regards, Josh Cuzner

Nice pub. Just renovated. There's a lovely climate. The staff is very friendly. Good place to chat with friends and watch football. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the food, but it is my personal opinion. Portions were small and nothing exciting. Overall, I would recommend checking the place yourself.

So arrived at 12.30 for lunch with friends today after hearing it had been refurbished. Disappointed …service terrible 1 person serving on bar and queue of people waiting to be served. Waited 15 minutes in queue in the end give up went elsewhere for lunch. Not impressed.

Very slow service, food was not hot when brought to the table.

Ordered 2 burgers. Was told no burger rolls, would we mind kids burger rolls, thought ok. The burgers came out and we're tasteless, and the whole dish was luke warm, rolls not toasted and with a long wait, portions looked like a kids meal so suited the burger bun, 2 onion rings and a handful of chips at best, no cranberry on the festive burger for over £20, I was expecting better tbf, knew I should of just gone to McDonald's. Told the staff, and was offered a free pudding............was in the pub a good half hour after eating and the "free pudding" never materialised. Wont be returning for food which I think has gone way downhill since refit. Only writing this review as would love things to improve!
