The Farmers Arms, Brompton in Richmondshire

Staff went above and beyond throughout the evening .Food was lovely and served piping hot .would definitely come back again ,when back in this area .Would recommend to everybody.10/10 .

After looking at the recommendations in the welcome book ,whilst staying at brompton lakes, 16 of us decided to try the farmers arms for a family meal. Really disappointed in the quality of food. Everyone said they wouldn't return but my roastie , broccoli and sauce that accompanied my seabass was nothing short of disgusting ! I sent the meal back and ordered crushed potatoes instead of the roastie but that was just as bad! I asked the waitress to take the meal off the bill and another member of staff came and said because I had eaten the seabass they would only be able to knock some money off. Will definitely let the owners of brompton lakes know they need to change their recommendations!

Great for our family of 22, to have a 50th Birthday meal! The booking was easy and they kindly let us put up some decorations. Kelsey was so lovely, warm & accommodating she went over and above to make us feel welcome- a real credit. Thank you!

This is a pub/restaurant that you will want to go back to Service is speedy and attentive and both Jess and Kelsey constantly go the extra mile with a smile Every customer gets polite and courteous service and no request is ever too much trouble Phil manages the bar with the skill and efficiency of someone who clearly knows and enjoys his work He ensures that every order is accurately and quickly made ready for his customers This is customer service of the highest level and even if you entered the pub with the whole world on your shoulders the staff here would ensure that you leave with a smile A breath of fresh air in a world of plummeting service standards

Service, brilliant, from the moment we walked through the door kelsie was on it, checked in, shown room, everything explained politely n efficient. In the evening, given a choice of menus, and specials. Kelsie, Jess n Phil behind the bar were defo on point, n this was Friday evening, busy with food trade n locals/contractors having a Friday wind down. BZ Well done all staff👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We visited the farmers arm lastnight and we walked it and it was very busy great felling and atmosphere we got served straight away by the lovely manager Adam .he is always friendly and chatty and very professional at all times this pub has changed since Adam started he is a credit to ur company and well done to all of ur staff thanks deb and Jen

Really good food and service. We enjoyed the atmosphere and will defo return. Nice pint as well. Beer garden looks good.

Absolutely faultless staff was very friendly and welcoming. The carvery was exceptional offering big portions of meat the beef was like a steak just melted in your mouth. Very good carvery at a very good price will definitely return again. The wife said the mash was banging! Thank you

My hubby and I came for our date night this evening, first time in years we have been in this place, loved it then an loved it all over again tonight! Lovely friendly atmosphere, great pub grub, and excellent service with good value for money too! Will definitely be back again soon with the rest of the family. I had the surf and turf, which was amazing and plentiful, hubby had the fillet steak, which he was well impressed with! No room for puddings we were stuffed. Huge thanks to the lovely young waitress, although didn’t get her name, dark small girl with a lovely smile and polite friendly personality. Nothing too much trouble and very attentive.

Great atmosphere in this dog friendly pub. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were genernous. This was a lovely end to our holiday.
