Just been for Sunday lunch with my family and was delicious. I rang to book an hour before and they fitted us in no problem . Lunch didn't take very long to come and staff were so friendly. Definitely recommend. Look forward to coming back. Thankyou Nicola xx

Went for breakfast with friends, was a pretty miserable day, and the food area was cold, first disappointment, coffee was nt overly warm, the breakfast cam out and was beautifully presented, however unfortunately this is as far as it got, eggs tasted as though they'd been cooked in old used fat, and under the food was a long dark brown hair, nobody was noticeable to speak too, so we up and left. leaving the breakfast to repeat on me alday, very disappointing as this came highly recommend. unfortunately I couldn't possibly do the same thing.

Used to think you couldn't go here unless you played golf which I definitely don't!! However I have had lunch here quite a few times now. Nice to look out over the course from the dining room and there's a small balcony. Great menu choice, food is lovely and very reasonably priced ,good portions.

I've eaten at the Golf Course on many occasions as I can't resist going back, the food is just spectacular! I must say, the last time I visited was by far the best as I ate the bratwurst and chips which was absolutely delicious! Not a bad word to say about the service or the food which is why I keep going back for more.

Having lived in this area for along time and not being a golfer, I was so surprised and appreciative of this wonderful venue. The restaurant and bar are quite superb and offer first class facilities a perfect location for a meal or a snack, also ideal for a full family function.

We have been using catterick golf club for several years, popping in for lunch with family or on our own, there is a lovely friendly atmosphere, and nice views from the windows, especially on a sunny day. The food is very good and reasonably priced, I would recommend to anyone.

I work in an officers mess and my collegues and I often pop here for a nice lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is very good, and served at the same time which is good considering there are about 25 people. can recommend. best to book first for larger parties.

Visited family in the area and took them here for lunch on recommendation. Different to some of the golf club catering I have encountered in the past as the menu was extensive and this is a chef producing tasty, home-made specials at very good value. The Catterick Rose lager was great value and very quaffable and the other drinks were sensibly priced. The staff were great, nothing too much trouble and so friendly and pleasant. What was also a surprise was in addition to the casual bar food and surroundings there was also a more formal restaurant adjoining and this is obviously a place doing well and attracting visitors other than golfers. We shall definitely return - our meal here made my in-laws day. Thank you.

We booked Sunday Lunch here on a recommendation and we're pleased we did. The decor is a bit old fashioned but the food was great. Plenty of choice and everything was cooked beautifully. Service was efficient and friendly. Very good value for money and definitely worth a visit- well done.

we had our Royal British Legion VJ dinner here. This is the first time ive ate here but wont be the last. We had a starter of garlic mushrooms, main was salmon and potatoes with a mixture of veg and then dessert was a trio of puddings and coffee/tea served afterwards. Alcohol is served and reasonably priced at the bar.The dining area is very spacious and they also have a stair lift for the less mobile.Outside there is a huge carpark to use.

As the title says, I am not a golfer, but I do envy the club members who have this excellent facility to hand. An opportunity exists for non members such as myself, to purchase what amounts to be a discount card, for bar and food purchases. Our group of six are regular visitors, not for the golf, but for the food. This is one of the better establishments to eat at in the local area, something evidenced by the sheer number of diners who frequent the clubhouse. Pleasant and friendly staff round off what is a wholly pleasurable experience.

First time we have visited and won't be our last, we were very impressed. We decided to try it for Father's day and it was very busy, lots of people and staff milling around the place, lovely food and lots of it. Very impressed all round, friendly staff and lovely food. Thumbs up from us

My first visit, with friends who are regulars and I was really impressed. The menu was really varied, lots of choice from sandwiches to snacks and full meals. Good selection of specials too. The choice of dishes was varied, something for everyone. We had beer battered fish and chips, it was cooked to perfection, very tasty chips, choice of peas, nice sized wedge of lemon all presented nicely. Couldn't resist a dessert, I had raspberry and white chocolate roulade, yum! My friends had an apple crumble with custard and a sticky toffee pudding. Again these were beautifully presented and a snip at just £3.50 each. Good choice of drinks, very friendly, attentive staff, lovely location and really nice surroundings. Definitely visiting again soon.

We had a supper Sunday lunch here. The beef was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it, the pork was delicious and so was the crackling. We were served by 2 young people who smiled and made eye contact. The cost is very reasonable, £12 for two courses. There were 2 Yorkshire puddings each and an extra jug of gravy. It is situated next to the golf club so the views are good and plenty of parking places.

Just had a nice lunch in The Clubhouse of Catterick Golf Course. The Clubhouse bar area is open to non-members, this area is located upstairs in the main building. Really nice bar, nicely decorated with very comfortable furniture overlooking the golf course. There is a good varied menu of bar snacks and 'pub grub' all at very reasonable prices. The food was well cooked and nicely presented and the staff were very welcoming and polite. We will certainly try again possibly a evening visit. Overall good value and a very pleasant alternative to local pubs and hotels.

We visited here after reading some encouraging reviews and noting that “booking is essential for food”, we thought it would be a safe bet while we were in the area. Unfortunately, the 2 stars are for service along as the bar staff were very polite and helpful. They are also dog friendly which is a bonus. Other than that, the food was not impressive. We had the Sunday roast and the beef tasted of poor quality, and vegetables were not seasoned and lacked flavour. The cabbage served with the meal was pickled which wasn’t what we expected. We were still hungry afterwards but didn’t want to waste any more money on desert in case it was more of the same. The decor is very tired and the place does lack atmosphere unfortunately. We didn’t drink alcohol but they have a wide variety of ales to choose from behind the bar. We won’t be returning, sadly!

The bartender gratuitously insulted me, saying it must be hard for Americans to walk the Coast to Coast because we drive everywhere in our cars, to Taco Bell and Burger King. His tone was not joking, but rather mocking. But the food was decent and they have a dietary inclusive menu.

Came here for afternoon tea for my Mum’s birthday. The grounds and decor inside the coach house are lovely. The afternoon tea and range of sandwiches and puddings were amazing and you could tell they were all freshly made, unlike a lot of other afternoon teas I have had. There was a good selection of teas to choose from and these were refilled. The scones were lovely and still nice and warm, not hard or difficult to cut into. The waiting staff were pleasant and friendly, they went through each filling and part of the afternoon tea also. Although this was a little bit more expensive than other places for afternoon tea it is definitely worth it for the good quality food and presentation. Would definitely visit again!

Turned up ad hoc for a meal and were made very welcome. Lovely roast dinner and veg. Great atmosphere and sensible pub-grub menu: just the ticket!
