Great food, proper Sunday lunches

Don't really do reviews, but this place deserves it! Food is fresh and really good, lovely place and very reasonably priced! If you are in the area and hungry, this is the place!

We always enjoy eating here. The food is excellent and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. On a nice day sitting outside looking over the course is amazing 🙂

Such a brilliant experience! We were passing by the town on Christmas Eve and almost nothing was open in the town centre. I found out this place on Google Maps and I came with my family for lunch. They had the option for xmas menu, we went with the usual menu. Great food, my niece said it was the best restaurant of the trip, stunning environment, cozy, with open fire and beautiful view. To complete the package, staff was all super polite and we could see they were committed in providing a good service, asking many times whether everything was ok and whether we needed anything. I was star this place for the next time I visit Yorkshire Dales!

When we come up to stay in Sebergh for a week's break to see our daughter and her partner we always book to eat here at least once during the week but most definitely for Sunday lunch. The Sunday roasts are top drawer. The quality of the food is some of the best we've eaten anywhere - roast beef is exceptional and the steak and ale pie just awesome so many congrats and thanks to the good folks who are responsible for that being the case !! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Beers are good. Pricing for food and drink is excellent. The whole experience is very enjoyable and if we lived locally we'd definitely make at least one booking per week. There is nothing not to like about having a meal / drink here so book up and go and enjoy a lovely experience.

This is a must for all people visiting the area. The food is to die for. The views, the service, the everything wonderful. Book early, its always busy.

A meal for 4… & we were all happy despite our very different preferences & needs. Our meals included Steak & Stout pie, Rack of Ribs, Burger & a Fisherman’s Pie. All made with fresh ingredients of a good quality - traditional fare, not overdone.

Have just had two delicious meals from the restaurant as a takeaway. In the present climate they have decide d to offer a limited menu as takeaway with last collection at 7 pm. The food is the same excellent quality as restaurant meals the steak and stout pie cames with chips peas and gravy the lasagne with chips and salad neatly and securely packed for collection and a car trip. I hope this venture is continued and we shall certainly use it in the future.

Enjoyed a delightfully generous meal here on a Saturday evening. The staff were helpful and clearly Covid-19 aware; face shields, sanitisers and minimal handling of glasses. Our meals of gammon steak and Thai Red curry were delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding we shared.

Booked & had Sunday Lunch 3 days after reopening after COVID 19. An excellent plate of food & up to the standard before Lockdown. Well worth a visit but Booking is a must. Oh, and you can play golf too on a gem of a course.

We went as a family group to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the food was very good. The food offering was varied but probably not ideal for a vegan

Lovely staff, meals all superb. We ate at this restaurant for 5 evenings (group of 5 bikers) faultless! great value for money. Hope to return in the future.

We were staying in Milthrop at a cottage for the weekend and went for Sunday lunch after the neighbours next door recommended it. Beautiful food. All piping hot. Meat just fell to bits was so tender and not a piece of fat in sight. All vegetables and potatoes were cooked perfectly and gravy was so tasty. We were blessed with great weather so ate in the beer garden with our dog. Views are gorgeous from beer garden. Give it a try you wont be disappointed nothing was frozen rubbish which a lot of places serve these days all home made. Staff friendly too.

Have eaten here several times and always excellent fresh produce served appetisingly and hot. Would recommend unreservedly.

Visit The Fairway regularly and always receive a warm welcome and an excellent meal. Thank you. Advisable to book at Lunchtimes at weekends to avoid disappointment.

Was expecting something special but was disappointed. 2 slices of beef, 2 tiny roast potatoes and think it was meant to be cauliflower cheese but I just got a few tiny bits of cauliflower in a sauce, not worth what we paid

Called here as had heard good reviews. In truth did not have high expectations... Al dente vegetables Good quality food Varied menu and excellent specials offer Friendly staff We will be back!

Really enjoyed our Christmas get_together. Was difficult to find site as main noticeboard had been vandalised the week before, but worth persevering. Food was lovely, staff were friendly and efficient.

Well what can I say this little gem is hard to find unless you're a local but what a great find. A warm welcome in a modern clean and scenic venue. But the main thing was the food it's absolutely amazing. As it was Sunday we went for the roast and wow the lamb and beef were so tender and the accompanying vegetables were to die for. We then had puddings and they too were fantastic......very reasonably priced I cannot recommend this place enough.

Situated in the club house of Sedbergh Golf Club the newly refurbished restaurant is open to all. You will get a warm welcome . The menu is British usuing locally sourced ingredients. Service was excellent as was the Beef and Stout pie ample portions too just right for s meal after a round of golf on one of the most picturesque courses in the country

I ate here last week, and the food was brilliant. The service was fabulous too. Nicely furnished, would definitely recommend a visit!
