Always a good experience here, food is amazing and service is polite and efficient!

Absolutely delicious food, so glad we tried a take out from here. We have been trying to find a good curry and now we have one that is much better than good! Can highly recommend and the delivery man is always super friendly

The portion sizes are very small for the price compared to another Indian that we used to use before we moved. The flavours were quite bland which is a shame but cooked to perfection so can’t fault that just would like a bit more for the money.

First time using The Empress of India and was very impressed with the quality of food. All fresh ingredients and very tasty. Only downside for me was that I thought the Naan breads could have been slightly larger. The delivery time said 1 and a half hours and they delivered bang on time 1 and a half hours. It was my first time with them and I did feel it was a long time to wait, but worth waiting for (it was a Friday evening after all) Recommended!

Asked for a delivery at 17:55 - was advised delivery would be 18:10- food arrived 18:35 - no apology from the person delivering. Food is the best locally but delivery timings are consistently dreadful- we have never had a delivery on time. Today the food was superb but we were one popadom short.

I have been trying to find an Indian restaurant since curry hut in melton mowbray closed and I think I have just found it 😋 food was excellent hot and tasty only thing I found was the chips were a little over cooked for my liking would definitely recommend 👏👍

Normally bang on but this time things were missing and the naan bread was literally half the size mini naan

Food arrived cold, no lamb in madras, shame as always heard good things.

Had the phone the returant to find out where the food was. Also the food on my order was not correct.

Food was great and so was driver, just running a tad late but we were informed.

Arrived hot and good as usual just 30 min late. That’s happened a few times now 30 min late seems average.

Good quality food as always delivered on time and piping hot. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering again.

Order for 6:40 delivery, according to the app it was on time.. 7:15 and still not arrived, this has always been my preferred takeaway but probably not in the future.. Turned up at 7:20 and it's only luke warm... Not happy

Beautiful food and service with a smile!

I ordered a chicken jalfrezi with boiled rice, garlic and coriander naan. The naan was great, the rice was over cooked unfortunately which I’ve never known in any Indian before. This was really off putting. The chicken was hard and tasteless. The sauce was good however. Shame because I think on it’s day it could be a good place.

Best Indian takeaway we’ve had by far. Shame were only visiting eye Kettleby lakes or this place would be on speed dial. Great communication from the driver as difficult to find exactly where we’re staying. My husband is very picky and he says this is definitely the best he’s ever had. Everything was spot on very tasty and you can tell it’s freshly cooked, well done and we will be back when in this area again 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic again. We ended up ordering a delivery due to the car breaking down. Amazing food again and the delivery driver easily found us despite being in a very rural area. This place is a must try. See you again next year when we're back in the area!

Food was okay although starter bhajis are a lot smaller than they used to be and the popadoms were poor. Expensive for okay food this time even though we’ve ordered many times before.
