Incredibly rude elderly landlord, will not support this pub again. Have been with friends for drinks previously but also found bar staff quite bizarre when we were sat outside .. they were ssshing each table?

Newly refurbed and reopened and well worth a visit. Opened in Aug 2022 and it’s lovely to visit. Nice inside and out and will be great to see it become established in the village.

Very smart both inside and out, with friendly owners, and a lovely outdoor seating area too. Several real ales on tap, and a wine list too. Food will be being served at a later date as it has literally just opened!

Chequers Lane
Carol and Patsy were fantastic and we had a lovely lunch. The beer was excellent too, thank you for a lovely time, I'll be back soon 🙂

Northampton RoadFirst visit to the Spencer Arms to go for food with family. Nice greeting from the manager Holly, then taken to a sociable round table, Kath the waitress introduced herself and Ioiu (new member of staff) and advised that he was in training. Drinks order taken, then after a few minutes Holly came back to take our food order. A couple of the group had starters and we all ordered mains. All plates were empty and promptly cleared away. Had some more drinks and weren’t rushed in the slightest to leave. Overall no complaints and a lovely time had by all.
