Wetherspoons may serve the same menu in each location, but the quality can vary! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and presentation in the Edwin Waugh. The staff were friendly, service was prompt (using the app), and the pub was generally clean. Will return back if I find myself in Heywood again!

The tables are left piled with plates even when it was quiet, alcohol dripping over the bar, the quality of the breakfast was below average. Which was really disappointing. The bacon and egg was like leather looked as if someone had left it under heater and forgot about it. (We told a member of staff when he eventually come to clear the table, he just said sorry and walked off)On the plus side it's cheap for drinks and in a great location.

Was in wetherspoons about 3.30 I bought a pint and a fresh orange juice with a slice for my partner , as we were drinking up my partner went to eat her slice of orange & when she bit down on it felt a crunch between her teeth, thought it must be a pip or a filling had come out but it was a piece of glass, then she noticed a piece of broken glass in the bottom of her glass I went & informed them straight away & they didnt really seem very interested I understand that accidents happen but would have expected them to be more concerned as it could of been quite serious if my partner has swallowed the piece of glass

We're sat in the pub as I type this. Can't hear myself think due to a punter having YouTube clips on full volume. Sat by himself, not giving a monkeys. Anyhow... All of the tables are dirty and the pub just feels grim. Breakfast arrived after friendly service from Zack, nice fella. The grub was acceptable enough. A tasty wrap and some toast hit the spot. It was OK good service, just needs a wipe...

Ordered some food from witherspoon in heywood on Friday, normally I've ordered before and the food have been nice and presentable, but this time so disappointed with burger and chips, the burger was small and burnt, chips looks like they were thrown on, and the cheese would of nicer grilled. Oh and salad on muffin. I won't be ordering any more.

Called in today. Have been going here on and off for a couple of years. Ordered a drink (white wine) and asked for cash back. So the barmaid knew I was using a card to pay. Got the drink (took a sip). Then the barmaid told me cash only as the machines were down. I told her I had no cash that's why I asked for "cash back" She apologised and called her manager over. Long story short he took the drink off me despite me stating I would call the next day to pay. I said but you will just throw it out? He told me he would re sell it (despite me taking a sip of it ). 4 weeks before took some staff in there for a meal spent over £300 and left a £20 tip. Will have to find a new venue going forward.

Really nice wetherspoons,service,staff and food was great.i stupidly left my phone there and went back half an hour to find it had been handed in and was behind the bar.

Went in on a busy bank holiday Monday, was a clean table available for 4 of us. Food is typical Wetherspoon quality and price (both good IMO) and we didn't have to wait too long after ordering on the app. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Undercooked egg took back the cut off the uncooked bit and reserved. Went back and the 'manager' with an attitude problem and tabbing his hand on the bar whilst speaking. Saying do you want it or not Think he's in the wrong job No apology for possibly giving customers undercooked food.

I have got to say the dirty one I have been in empty glasses every we're.was sat there for three hours and they was two chips on the floor were the staff walk in and out collecting food.

Your security staff on your doors need to approach customers in a manner they should do absolutely shocking will be emailing a complaint to your head office regarding this on Saturday night in heywood

We had been on the East lancs steam train and after our journey we we hungry . My dad likes wetherspoons as the food is consistent where ever we go. The food is good as you would expect my five year old seemed happy with it too.

Delightful Weatherspoons in the centre of Heywood. Easy parking in the B&M/Morrison's car park. Breakfast menu until 12 noon with main menu starting from 11.30am. Find a table, choose your food and order at the bar, then the meals and cutlery are brought to your table. Food arrived quite quickly and was delicious. Whether eating or drinking on your own or as a group/family, you will enjoy the visit here.

Good spoons. Not the biggest outdoor space. Fab Katsu curry.👌

Another trip to Wetherspoons this time was the heywood one has a traditional setting and decor the service was friendly and fast it was to warm inside the heating was on full to warm while eating

I am not happy with the service i received today. God knows who put that table directly next to the toilets and on top of that having two tables with 9-6 so you didn’t know what number to put for ordering your food and drink, 3 different people came to me and said you have put the wrong table number as if i didn’t know that from the from the 1st person telling me while I'm eating my food it just rude. Also the table was disgusting and full of empty glasses, messy environment. Wont be going here again…

You can't go wrong with Spoons in Heywood. The service is always super quick and the food is always exactly what you expect, tasty, hot and delicious at reasonable prices.

Went in recently and there was a little problem with a few beers but the staff were really good and resolved the issue and even some customers stepped in to help. A very friendly pub with a good atmosphere.

Not the greatest spoons I've been in came on a busy Saturday evening lots of families in. Always good value and service chips where very greasy could have done with abit more draining. Some good offers on drinks atm a steady 3 stars for this establishment!

Went here for breakfast. Easy to order at the bar and didn't have to wait too long for food to be served. A bit confusing with the coffee machines but was sorted out in the end. Food was as expected from a Wetherspoons, alright grub for not too much.

A very busy pub. My pizza was very greasy with oil dripping off it. The worse I’ve had from a spoons. Pint was not bad. Tables were a bit scruffy. Not the best. Edit: I asked for fish and chips today and I was impressed with the fish. It was hot, the skin was crispy and the cod was just right. A fair amount of chips and the peas are just peas which were alight. Added another star. Also, place was cleaner than before.

A relatively small pub for a Wetherspoons, but not small on character. Quality food, well kept beers and ciders and, as always, a great mix of people.

A party of 4 of us had lunch here on 21st June. The service was excellent lovely staff, the food was also excellent and well worth it, we had the special menu fish and chips couldn't fault anything the best about our experience was how pleasant and helpful all the staff were. We will be returning again and recommend to others,

They want to sort there staff problems out without fail you are always waiting at the bar I worked in pubs for yrs nothing worse then havein to wait. after waiting for someone to come behind the bar in the first place .then to say they had to get a bottle of brandy and to be honest I think they went to bargain booze for it they took that long. and this was only 12-30 pm they should make sure this is all done in the morning before opening

Bleeding rip off, basically.. The food was awful, I ordered a chicken tikka curry, it was absolutely awful. It wasn't like it used to be. Then the poppadoms with it were stale along with the rice not being cooked right. I don't recommend this place anymore.
