Very polite and friendly hosts. Go thr extra mile to accomodation customers. The Sunday roast is amazing. Would definitely recommend to others.

I came down to the Eastbrook with my sister and my dad yesterday evening & couldn’t have had a better experience. How many pubs have you eaten in where the chips are homemade? The food was brilliant and the service was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

I have been there almost every Saturdays with some friends. The staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. Food, oh Glorious food. The portions are huge; I struggle to finish my plate and I am a very big eater! It's also very tasty. Live music: a great success and very entertaining each time!. Overall, this is an excellent place to be with your family and friends.

The Eastbrook serves amazing sized portions of tasty food at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The outside area is a comfortable, relaxing place to sit & drink particularly on hot summer afternoons & evenings. I was told that they have live music but sadly I was never around the nights that the music was on - but hopefully will remedy that in the future. All in all the Eastbrook surpassed my expectations - thanks to the staff you are doing a brilliant job.

Have been to this pub to eat any times before the lockdown and to say this time I was shocked at how it had changed. Firstly its expensive 2 carvery meals gin and tonic and half a shandy came to £43.00. The dinner was served on a plate not much bigger than a tea plate the meat was tough and the servings small. When we ate here before we were told we could come back for more veg if we wanted not this time my husband ask for an extra roast potato as you only get 2 halves and was given a short sharp no. This is unlike any carvery we have been to from the Pipe Major, Brewers Fare or Tobby Inn you can always add extra veg its not a problem. We left there hungry would never go back you get a better bigger meal in a cafe for £6.00 and the staff are not so rude.

I have lived in this borough over 40 years and never had a bad experience with any landlord. I received a parking fine for going in for a chat with the owner to give out leaflets and I got a £60 fine. Owner said he would squash it. Hell did he 😡 I swear I will never step foot in this pub again. Sad because it’s my local. Bye bye Eastbrook pub. Staff not friendly and don’t remind you that you need to register your car, even if it’s a short stay. Money making pigs

Read all the reviews about how good the Sunday lunch was and decided to give it a try. We was not disappointed it was absolutely delicious. The meat melted in your mouth and the veg was lovely all cooked lovely. Really enjoyed it. We will soon return.

If you are going to serve Real Ale you need to train your bar staff on what it is supposed to look like and taste like. It's not lager, you don't just plug and pour or serve in a warm glass.

Myself my husband and our friends had Sunday dinner at the eastbrook last Sunday . The food was excellent real home cooked meal and plenty of it . Service excellent and a really welcoming atmosphere. You do need to book . Good value for money. We strongly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thank you .

Following an excellent Sunday lunch already reviewed I was informed that the new licencee had arranged evening entertainment on a Sunday evening.Visited with my wife and daughter last night. A most enjoyable evening with excellent entertainment from Sean and Mary who played all my old country music favourites. James ,the owner provides lovely tasty sandwiches roast potatoes and other food from the Sunday .lunchtime carvery at no cost to the customer and I can only say that the roast beef sarnies andspuds were so delicious +I went back for seconds. Met with some next door neighbours who are regulars and all those present were very friendly and welcoming as is the host and his staff. If you fancy a nice evening out I thoroughly recommend. Felt very comfortable and safe in a pub that I would not have wanted to visit a year ago. As previously reported I have nothing but praise for James and his team who have dragged the Eastbrook from a tip into what is now a place I would happily take my wife and family and recommend to anyone

Good experience. The reviews were correct Good choice of Carvery and veg. Portions enormous and well coooked and presented by the new owner James who is as Irish as they come and gives you an Irish welcome. He has succeeded in raising the Eastbrook experience to a most enjoyable visit and we will return as a familyMuch better Carvery than the pub down the road. Only problem no tablecloths, just bare stained tables that could do with us cleaning. Will mention this on next visit when I feel sure James will remedy

This place has seen a real rejuvenation in recent months. New owners have brought not only the soul back into the place, but have brought the love and attention that this pub deserves.The biggest overhaul has been the food. The Sunday roasts are rapidly becoming legendary, perhaps the best I've encountered. Proper home cooked food, packed with flavour.Live music, quiz nights, a brand new dedicated sports bar are all initiatives that have seen punters returning and enjoying themselves.To top it off the staff, the heartbeat of any good pub, are fantastic. Can't praise this place highly enough

Never been one for eating Sunday lunch out as always tasted as the quality of the food was poor and nowhere like home cooked food, but now thanks to my son taking me for lunch to the Eastbrook (twice) it’s really changed my mind. The choice of meat was such a large range you could have a bit of all of them. As for the vegetables they were cooked to perfection and choices like I have never seen outside the home, swede, cauliflower cheese, colcannon, and many others. The stuffing and gravy so tasty. You could have as much as you liked and James and his staff very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This is my recommendation of the place to go for a very good meal and I am a very fussy eater, like lots of different things but must be delicious. Try it bet you will love it.

Fantastic home cooked Sunday Dinner, great choice of meets. Help yourself to Potatoes and Veg, great Gravy... It's so quickly becoming so popular it's best to book in advance.. Give the Brook at go....

I can highly recommend this carvery its is all home cooked and you get huge portions of meat there is usually chicken pork gammon beef lamb and turkey you can pick as many as you desire. The gravy is amazing as are the roast potatoes and vegetables etc. The owner and staff are welcoming and nice singers on weekend nights. This is the only place my friends and I go to when we go out for a roast now as it cant be beaten.

Amazing local family pub. Really seems to have changed with the new owner. The roast we travelled from rainham for and it was sooo worth it!

New owner is a rude human and a racist it was the worst pub ive been to the day he took over. been going there since 2000 and ill will never set foot in that pup again. I recommend everyone to stay away from there. Im fully English but had a tan from a holiday and the new owner James made me leave and refused to serve me because i had a tan from holiday. He has also put all prices up for none regulars.

Visited today for a family Sunday roast after seeing it advertised on Facebook. The food was absolutely gorgeous! So much food on the plate ... excellent value for money & you can tell it was all fresh made.

Popped in to the Eastbrook for lunch last week.It seemed busy when we entered.Good selection of beer .Shepherd pie was best I’ve ever had .Staff friendly A few of us stayed on for drinks into the evening .Enjoyed will be back

My Wife , Myself and our Handicapped Son Jason went here with our friends Sue, Gary and their son grant for Sunday lunch. It is basic in there but the food and service is great!! You have to book but it is well worth it. Give The Eastbrook a try you will not be disappointed.

basic menu for a pub , but some good homemade cooking , staff are friendly , carpark can get a bit full , old pub and at weekends you can get you shell fish dishes just outside

Called in last year and the rumours I had heard were true. Place did not look clean and overall a bit dingy.

The Eastbrook is a good old fashion pub, with authentic decor and character the staff are very friendly and helpful as is the manager Gregg who is a popular figure, the ciders and beer is always good and reasonably priced, they serve food which is varied good portions and better than average bar food.The Eastbrook also has entertainment at week-ends and has function rooms for hire at very reasonable rates,they can also arrange buffets as well, which are always of quality. Everyone is welcome here Familes, children and elderly.

I went here for a couple of drinks with my wife on a Saturday night , never again ! , it was completely dead apart from a couple of drunks and the bar staff , there was no music as the duke box was broken , the toilets weren't working properly and the place smelt bad ! . We had one game of pool and when we asked for a drink , we were told we couldn't have one the tills shut at 10 o'clock because the owner was hungover ! .Then the owner a fat horrible withdrawn funny looking man with dark hair started hurling abuse ! "f!@k off and find somewhere else to drink " , nice !! . Unless you want a terrible night I recommend you don't visit this pub ! .

Went here for a party booked room staff where rude grumpy information that was given when booked was incorrect toilets stopped fushing and cold water in lady's stopped running not a nice place for special party i know someone who thinking of booking but going tell them not to has its not good

Tuve última visita hace 10 años cuando era bastante oscuro y deprimente buscando así que no esperaba mucho pero para mi sorpresa fue mejorado mucho. Estaba más limpio y más fresca de lo que recordaba, tenía una buena selección de opciones de almuerzo, agradable servicio y una buena variedad de cervezas. La calidad de la comida era buena sandwiches - buenos tostado y patatas fritas, gambas y lasaña casera. Sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo.
