I arrived at the end of the Chelsea game. Since I was wearing a uniform, the store clerk noticed that and was kind to me💙 The Sunday roast was very delicious, and it came with bread, super delicious carrots, a whole sweet cabbage potato, and what looked like eggplant, so I was very satisfied with just one Sunday roast! (Even though it's British food, it's really delicious) It was a local shop, and I got the impression that there were a lot of people living locally. It was a very good restaurant with great taste.

Thanks guys for such a lovely lunch last week. The service was very friendly and the food came out in a timely manner and it was tasty and cooked well. Recommend the Kieve and I will definitely be back for one the next time I'm in Wandsworth. Lively pub with all the usual drinks. Would recommend for friends and couples.

Increíble carne asada tierna con mucha salsa, tuvimos un almuerzo encantador en East Hill con mis hijos. El servicio fue encantador y con un ambiente muy ocupado que realmente disfrutamos. Vale la pena el precio y volveremos cuando podamos.

One of our favourite pubs with a great roast. We had the port belly which was deliciously crispy as well as the beef being perfectly cooked. And the veggie wellington is one of the best we have tried. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is so nice.

Estábamos en el East Hill para la recepción de la boda de mis amigos, el pub estaba lleno de vida y nos sirvieron champán a la llegada y luego tuvimos unos deliciosos canapés más tarde en la noche. El servicio fue excelente, siendo amable y atento con 40 huéspedes! Más tarde en la noche el pub realmente lo hizo una fiesta divertida. Gracias chicos y sin duda volveremos para un asado y te recomendaría a nuestros amigos.

Had such a lovely Sunday roast last weekend. We shared the lamb shoulder which was massive, advertised as for 3-4 people but would have fed 5! The staff are really warm and inviting, definitely worth going on a Sunday but it was very busy so recommend booking in advance. We will be coming back soon!

I had such a lovely time at the East Hill with my mates, we had a few pints and some dinner which was really good. Burger was amazing and would really recommend. Liv gave excellent service, overall a good vibe.

Hola chicos, gracias por pasarlo tan bien el sábado pasado para las 6 Naciones. Tuvimos el almuerzo más maravilloso antes del partido, hamburguesas masivas con tocino y el pollo kyiv estaba delicioso. Se pone ocupado para el rugby, pero el ambiente vale la pena, especialmente frente al proyector, con muchos seguidores en, el guinness era definitivamente de primera categoría con un servicio encantador a pesar de que el pub estaba lleno. Recomendar tanto para alimentos como para bebidas casuales. Si en la zona vale la pena visitar, planeamos volver un domingo para los asados que he oído que son grandes también.

My 8-yr old daughter says…. This place is different in an amazing way to other pubs. They have blankets which is very thoughtful and they have really nice employees with fun games to play. They make funny jokes and are very talkative. They are also very polite and that’s why you should come to this very welcoming pub(:

The least family friendly pub I've ever been to. A sign saying to keep your dogs (and children) on a lead. And then I was asked (although politely) to stop walking around the pub with my 18 month old lad. Perhaps I've now lost all perspective now I'm a parent at how annoying it can be for a small lad to be walking around a pub, but we aren't in some fancy central London bar. This is a pub where families go too. Don't go there if you've got young kids, they're not welcome.

Great sunday roast, the chicken was so tender, veg cooked to perfection and very tasty. Great local pup. The only downside was the toilets they stunk of old pee and could be cleaner ensuring the toilet rolls and hand soap were stocked up.

Decent local pub with a good atmosphere. Never rammed but always has a buzz about the place.

We come here regularly and this pub always exceeds our expactations. My wife and I love the Sunday roast and I personally find their pies delicious. Yesterday we had dinner here with a couple of friends from Greenwich and they said the fish and chips was the best they ever had (their own words). There is a good selection of beers, the service is great and the atmosphere is lovely.

What a great pub ! We had a great time there. We felt welcome and at home as soon as we walked in. Good range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Good range of food but served wonderfully. I enjoyed a burger and chips but this is not run of the mill pub grub - responsibly sourced ingredients from local sources. Congratulations to all the team and especially Jonas the manager. I'll be back !

Tuvimos una tarde encantadora en East Hill. Nos sentimos como en casa tan pronto como entramos en el bar. El personal era acogedor y nos dio tiempo para establecernos. Fuimos a tomar una copa por la tarde, pero la comida se veía tan bien que tuvimos una comida allí. Preciosa comida presentada con cuidado. Los huevos escoceses fueron una delicia particular. Gama completa de bebidas para todos. Esperamos volver la próxima vez que estemos en la zona. Gracias a todo el personal.

Christmas Day was made! We booked the East Hill for the first time for our Christmas Day meal, and it didn't disappoint! The food was exceptional, and plenty of it, the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly too! Thank you!

The food is very below par. Batter on fish overcooked. Steaks not good. Service chaotic. Toilets disgusting. Would not return for dining.

Visited here with former colleagues for what is now becoming our regular yearly catch up. Had the Xmas menu, did was well prepared and presented, service with a smile in some nice surroundings. Couldn't ask for more

A really great experience if you’re looking for a calm yet lively environment to have lunch or a drink in. It’s not ‘rowdy’ at all and it was really pleasant, so if you’re looking for a calmer Sunday vibe that still has a strong atmosphere, either as a family or with your parents, this is the place for you.

This was our first visit and they did not disappoint, everything was 10/10 excellent service throughout and an exceptional Sunday roast. Will definately visit again and recommend to family and friends🤗🤗

We come here regularly and have had the roast before, which we really enjoy. Unfortunately this evening we’d booked a table for the quiz but they had no roast left. They were really lovely and seemed to feel genuinely bad. As a gesture of goodwill/apology they gave us a round of drinks on the house. 10/10 service!

Main veggie roast great and service was goof . However dessert was bland which we pointed out but still charged for it and nothing down to compensate .

WOW, I'm speechless, who would've thought that this place could get any better?? The not so shabby looking Australian manager was able, within 2 weeks, to turn this place into the heartbeat of Wandsworth or simply said: a little slice of paradise. Took a friend who's in a wheelchair. Easy access. Staff were very friendly and chatty and the range of drinks very good. It was late afternoon so fairly quiet. The only downside was the number of children running round.

My local pub is an absolute gem! Fabulous roasts on Sunday and a lovely terrace to enjoy drinks at any time. Always attracts a really good crowd and the staff are superb. Exactly how a neighbourhood pub should be!

This is our new local and it did not disappoint. We have visited twice now. Once for drinks and once for Sunday lunch. On both occasions the staff were friendly, and the roast on Sunday was delicious and reasonably priced for the size and quality of the food.

Amazing lunchtime experience here. We were immediately greeted and offered space, though they had quite a few bookings! The food was so lovely, and they had a special lunch menu on as well as the big menu, so there was so much choice. Honestly couldn't fault anything, service was great too! Excellent local pub. Always a nice team serving and have never had a bad meal here. The daily soups are fantastic as are the mussels. On Sundays the quiz is great fun too.

Love this pub, come here often. Always lovely accommodating staff. Ordered the fish and chips and my friend is GF, the waitress spoke to the chef who offered to make up a GF batter for her. Prices are standard for a south west pub. Recommend coming here!

Visited Sunday 14th January. Booked a table in advance but wasn’t ready til around 15-20 minutes after booking time due to a previous party overstaying, that’s understandable. Unfortunately the service was then non-existent. We’d been sat for around 20 minutes before having to order from the bar with many other tables resorting to the same. That meant the tables that arrived 45 minutes after us were able to order before us and get the last roast beef portions. Food arrived but had no cutlery or any water offered.

Sad to say really disappointing this time. Service was poor at best given we’d booked it Sunday roast - had to get own menus, got up ten times between us to get various items, order things etc. roast portions were very small indeed for £22… one slice of very fatty pork belly, with crackling that didn’t crackle. A Yorkshire pudding the Consistency of brioche. Really weird as last time was great.

Lovely little pub but food was a bit disappointing. Pork belly needed more time to render, Yorkshire pudding was kinda cakey and everything just needed more flavour and seasoning. My fella liked his scotch egg.

Our table was very close to another and think the small round tables are a bit cramped for 2 for dinner. Service lovely, would suggest looking at the wine list to include some non alcoholic wines. (Wednesdays Domaine?)! One dish was very salty - chicken pie, but generous portion, hot and tasty other than the seasoning. Lovely pub, just a bit of constructive feedback xx

If you want to have a great time go to the east hill! Staff are always welcoming and smiley, great food and great drinks. Josie especially always makes a trip to the pub worth it and goes above and beyond, always with a smile :) 10/10 recommend

Lovely staff - everyone so friendly. We had a bit of a disaster with one choice on the menu but they dealt with it brilliantly so recommend this pub for a cosy evening being looked after by a lovely team.
