Lovely little place with a good selection of food, very nice and child-friendly service. Do come here if you love dogs, it's swarming with wonderfully well behaved doggos.

Such a disappointment! Pear tree cafe has always been a favourite of ours but today i felt like i’ve been scammed. I ordered two orders of adult sized pancakes and was surprised to receive only the tinniest portion of pancakes. My two year old ended up eating both plates from how tiny they were. Pear tree please go back to your normal sized pancakes. Or atleast charge a reasonable amount for these tiny pancakes. Paying 24£ for this is a joke.

A great spot to stop for lunch and watch the wildlife in Battersea park while enjoying some lovely food. We ate our lunch while watching squirrels and birds in the tree next to our window.

I had banana bread, and there was a hair in it. It made me feel sick. When I informed the staff about it, they simply said, "Thank you for letting us know," and didn't apologize. They also didn't offer a refund. I wouldn't recommend this place. Coffee was ok.

Beware though cos they have non-alcoholic bottles of lager. Lovely woman exchanged it for a proper beer 🍺 with no fuss

Pear Tree Cafe is in Battersea Park. It's a lovely place to relax after walking you're dogs or just out with family. Definitely Recommend you stop here before going home ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Lovely location for a cafe, but unfortunately, the customer service was just awful. The young staff seemed more preoccupied with socialising among themselves than attending to customers. They seemed annoyed and rude when approached with any questions. One staff member, a young woman with short hair who seemed to be in a supervisory role, was exceptionally rude, obnoxious, and hostile in her interactions with both junior staff and customers. It's important that someone higher up address the awful customer service, as it's ruining the experience for customers.

£3.20 for a cookie? Are they mad? Was it worth it? YES. Also the music was amazing, 90`s rock vibes. Thank you.

Great place to meet with friends on a sunny day. They have music and plenty of seats although it can get quite busy and there seems to always be a queue for the toilet.

Nice cafe in Battersea Park and the Bacon sandwich with a fried egg was awesome….very dog friendly which can be off putting if you are not a dog person

Great place where to eat and hangout with friends. At the time we eat it was available only pizza but they were great in Italian style. Beer was also good. The view is amazing. It could be difficult to find a table as its is very busy at times.

Visited on a weekend and a weekday … what a difference. Crowded on the weekend but the staff has it down to a science to serve you quickly once you get through the line. Great for seeing all the canines mingling and having fun!

Staff member at coffee station rude when I asked if I could pay for a drink. I didn't understand and then he said "It's quite simple, there are 2 people over there where you can pay"

Stopped for a cup of tea and a snack at this lovely little café in Lincoln's Inn. Worth visiting just for the quality of the baked goods (all cooked in house, we were told!). Delicious carrot muffin and raisin cookie. Lovely staff—friendly, helpful and professional.

This was a gem of a find! Let's start with the vibe, the most picturesque way to eat a meal, by the beauty of a lake amongst lush green! The food at the cafe is also surprisingly tasty. It is neither cheap nor expensive. I was happy to pay the price I did and get the food as well as the experience! Highly recommend the sandwiches here - huge portion size, and very very tasty. Even the pancakes were amazing and again served in a huge portion size.

Gave this place another go but sadly it wasn’t that great. Curt male staff member on the tills, other staff really nice and friendly. When you order streaky bacon you expect it to be crispy because of the fat but mine was served as a big lump of white fat …. Yuk ! My egg was cold and the GF toast soggy. Gluten-free bread needs to be toasted well to be edible. Overall feel I wasted my money. The coffee is good so no complaints there.This place is mad busy. I can only imagine how much money they make each day ,must be going into the tens of thousands but the food needs to be better.

Great atmosphere by the water. My pancakes looked beautiful but didn’t taste great. They were very floury and they’d poured cream on top instead of putting it on the side, which meant by the time they were served they were soggy.

I think the staff do the very best they can, but as its a busy location. There is all ways some kinda confusion with the pickup section. But i love its always friendly with pets also

To be honest the cafe looks a little uninspiring when you walk in but the service is good with plenty of staff and the food well presented and really tasty - prices also good for London - would definitely use again . Be careful not to leave any left overs on the tables as pigeons swoop in and a first for us a a Heron eating scraps

I went here on a Sunday morning and you can see that this is a popular spot. I absolutely love the ambiance here and the food options are decent (which I did not expect, not sure why). My friends and I ended up really enjoying our experience.

Great atmosphere especially in summer. More for young people I’d say. Weekends are a bit chaotic, they turn the outside seating into almost a full on lakeside party venue lol. Super nice for drinking in summer but also for just a regular cafe snack. They do have food too

Review of Saturday afternoon in summer: Super long cues to get in (2hrs wait), then you are met with tables full of other people’s rubbish that you have to clear yourself, it either stinks of bins, sewage or murky pond water. When you want to get food or drinks or use facilities (no toilet paper, hand towels or soap) you need to cue again!! Everything’s is rather expensive for what you get and served in plastic cups or on paper plates. The rumorend „handsome men“ that are supposed to frequent this place are falling over at this point because they’re so drunk 😂 sadly very overhyped by socials, could be nice with better organisation and less people

Queues were massive not worth a 15 min wait let alone a 2 hour one. Bring your own beers and sit on the grass outside much better

Great place to go with family and friends. But extremely expensive and long time spent in the queues, staff need to 😃 smile more often, nothing worse than seeing a member of staff who really don't want to be there working.

As a good customer I’ve been very disappointed, I went to treat my self , the muffins lemon and chia and fruits & almond tart tasted very dry , felt like when you leave a cake in a container for a week , so I couldn’t eat it and it will go to the bin £7 , which is not fair , waste of money.

Surprisingly great pancakes with a light lemon flavor that were fluffy and delicious. Served in a large stack of three. Scrambled eggs were very good. The hot chocolate was perfect and included marshmallows. Reasonably priced kids menu for an adult size portion. Nice picnic tables with shade or sun with a nice view to watch the ducks on the lake. Friendly service and not a long wait even on a busy Sunday morning. Way better than I had expected from a park concession. I will absolutely be back.

This charming cafe is set in the heart of Battersea park and serves salads, sandwiches and cakes . It has plenty of outdoor seating on the terrace and is a great venue to have a cuppa overlooking the lake. It’s always buzzing and the staff are very friendly .

Absolutely DISGUSTED by the price of the CANNED cocktails. £7.80 per can! Shocking; especially as a mixologist I’m offended anywhere would try and charge that. Also dirty tables outside. I understand being busy and in a prime location in the park but there should be some effort.

I looked long and hard. No Pear tree. They did serve Perry however so maybe this was the way said tree met its demise. Nice vibes in the sun. In the rain less so.

Very busy, was was mediocre, untidy

A sort of would-be Oasis on the South Eastern section of Battersea Park. Plenty of outside seating. Cafeteria style food & drink collection. Very young staff. The food was really excellent & abundant. But this is an upmarket Café so expect to pay accordingly. Very relaxing environment.

There were 16 of us. We sat outside and ate and drank coffee. It was an utter delight from beginning to end. The two members of staff - one make, one female - were friendly and went out of their way to make our experience a good one.

Really lovely staff, a very nice venue and great coffee however the pizzas are so so bland. No flavour , no seasoning. We had the mushroom pizza which would have been nice with a touch or garlic and sea salt but it was totally tasteless. What a shame! Could be so much better. Plus as per my Google review a while ago the venue is jam packed with dogs. I love dogs but the incessant barking could drive you insane. One woman had 4 dogs and everyone was tripping on their leads. They really shouldn’t allow dogs in the central area so people can enjoy peace and quiet whilst eating. The staff deserve a medal for putting up with the noise in this place!

Dead gaff! Came expecting the Thursday live music vibes at 5pm. A load of old ladies sitting in a chilled cafe. Don’t waste your time!

Watery coffee and very expensive. Avoid this place if you're looking for a decent coffee.

Don't order that acai bowl. I don't actually think there was any acai in it. Looked and tasted like raspberries and filled with raspberry seeds. Don't waste your money. Pretty disappointing. The vegan burger was a disappointment as well. Won't be going back for food.

A visit to do if you visit London. Quiet place next to a lake. Young atmosphere, people who come out to the tennis courts, run, play sports in general or just walk around and make breakfast. We found it lovely. Good food, variety.

This is a lovely cafe situated in Battersea Park by the pond. It has good food and clan lavatory facilities. On a sunny day there is plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating is plenty as well. Given it's relative monopoly within the park, this place is very popular and can get very busy (to the point of being a victim of its own success). I visited this cafe on a busy Sunday May Bank Holiday weekend afternoon. Because of this there were long queues, no outdoor seating and the food took a while to be delivered unsurprisingly. Because of this I recommend visiting the cafe at less busy periods.

Beautiful spot on the lake for brunch, coffee or drinks on a nice sunny weekend day in London but expect long queues for everything (to get a table, place an order or use the toilet)

Super chill place to enjoy a beer on a sunny day

Local cafe serving a wide selection of items, on the pricy side, but location does make up for it

£15 for a burger and a muffin. No salad or chips with the burger either, both extremely dry. Burger also came with a slice of cheddar cheese apparently, but this was orange, transparent and tasteless.

I enjoy their scrambled eggs and salmon with a match latte!

I can’t believe the waiting time for cappuccino was 7 minutes on a slow week day with few people in the line. Unbelievable!

I have read some reviews about long waits and I experienced the same but it is to be expected in London on a “sunny” Sunday morning. The staff were under extreme pressure and doing their best, but making Lattes or Cappuccino’s takes time so there will always be a wait, but worth waiting for as they are delicious. We also ordered brunch which came after a short wait and was very, very nice and really good value.

Amazing coffee, they always get hot drinks to the perfect temperature and amazing view of the pond to enjoy your food/ beverage. Although the main part of the cafe is clean and presentable the toilets are dirty. For a place that is always busy and has a lot of customers it would be advised that they have someone clean the toilets more frequently. It’s a shame that a place with so many pros be majorly impacted by one con.

The best bacon and egg roll! I love this place. Great vibe, beautiful calming setting and decor, you can sit outside at lots of tables and benches by the park pond which is beautiful, plenty of seating inside also if it's chilly out. The bacon and egg roll is perfect, crispy streaky bacon, and plenty of it! Beautifully orange yolked fried egg and delicious bread roll, it's honestly just how I'd make it at home. Cannot fault this place. Amazing cakes too, we had a brownie, which my American companion (who is an expert on these) loved! And an orange sponge cake, which was so fluffy and light, and the taste was unreal! Lovely cup of tea, and an orange juice which tasted of pure sunshine. Service is top notch, greated with smiles from the girls and guys behind the central counter, pleases and thank you's aplenty, and it just feels genuine! I've never had to wait long time for food or drinks to arrive and its consistantly outstanding! Will be back whenever I can, one of my favourites!
