Astoundingly bad hospitality. Want to order? Scan a QR code and then *download* an over complicated app full of unnecessary buttons and options. Want to use WiFi to download the app? Gotta give your email, name, postal code, and birthday. Staff acts like you are a burden when you order in person. Croquettes fall apart when you pick them up, food is expensive and takes a long time to arrive, as do the drinks. Finding an employee to help is near impossible. Finding one that seems happy to have you as a customer is fully impossible.

What a spot! Was passing by yesterday and decided to stop for a drink. A great view over the river and the service was impeccable. The brunch menu was too good not to try so ended up staying for the vegan breakfast. The fluffy pancakes were delicious! The chef was also super attentive and came out to check on everything. These guys take pride in what they do. A must visit!

Made a reservation at the Waterfront in advance. We arrived at the venue and no one greeted us. It took 15 minutes for the bar staff to address us, despite it not being busy. The hostess treated us poorly. We ended up leaving 10 minutes after we were seated because we felt extremely unwelcome. Would not recommend to go to this pub!

Food quality for price v good but it all came at different times. Waitress was miserable and did not take pride in her job

Such a great venue. Right by Wandsworth bridge on the river. Stopped in for a drink and wound up staying for lunch. Was met by I assume was the manager who greeted us in a friendly manner and even though we were having a drink he took us to a table and took our drink order. Had a lovely table by the window looking at the river. The wine list is extensive and the Albariño was tasty. Decided on the roast beef and pork and were not disappointed. Succulent and tasty. Loads of vegetables and lovely gravy. Staff were excellent. Attentive and welcoming. Such a great venue. Will definitely be back.

We celebrated a 50th birthday party recently and had a reserved area in the pub. The staff were great in the lead up to the event and did a great job on the day setting up the area. We ordered some food from their platter menu and the sliders were very well received by all of our party. A good atmosphere and would recommend for anyone looking for an informal area to host a drinks party.

Shout out to head chef Anna today who did a marvellous job on a busy Sunday. Lovely roast and treacle tart light and delicious. Thanks also go to bar and front of house who dealt with a busy service with a smile and grace. Lovely Sunday by the River!

I hadn't intended to go for lunch today. I was taking a walk along the south of the river, and the weather began to turn. I came across The Waterfront, and decided to go in for a drink. It wasn't long after I sat down that I started to smell the lovely food from the kitchen... and saw the plates of food being delivered to other tables. I quickly changed my mind and thought it would be a great place to have a Sunday (late) Lunch. I went for the trio, beef, pork belly and chicken! Wow! I was not disappointed. The beef was perfectly cooked, the pork belly melting in the mouth and chicken tender. I also can't fault the vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. I'm so full up that I really should continue my walk... but I think I'll take the bus.

Someone please teach the girl in the pink top and fake eyelashes the art of conversation and, god forbid, smiling. She’s a tad miserable. Cheer up love.

We had a lovely, relaxed, vegetarian lunch . The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. All good and a very nice spot overlooking the river.

The it’s very good and comfortable, at the summer it’s very very good outside, I’m really love the food and atmosphere, only the service take a little more time than I was expecting, but just and very busy days.

Lovely place by the river, the vibe is great inside or out if the weather allows it. The menu is great and with plenty of options. Best place in the area.

Poor experience, a few things let it down when it should be the best place along the river. Went in there on new year's eve as a 5, 3 adults and two little ones. Went in for a drink or two at 4pm, before it starts getting busy. Long story short, the place was pretty quiet at the time and why it's sometimes a good option for a quiet drink. A big table all sitting down to eat and maybe another 4 tables drinking. Bear in mind the time and how quiet it was, the bar staff, some / all drinking, kept turning the music up continually, seemingly having their own party. Slow service, must be four at the bar and all just stood chatting whilst you go up to the bar to order drinks, takes an age for someone to come over and seemingly at their inconvenience at having to serve you. Anyway, music became so loud we had to shout to have a conversation - was genuinely like being in a club (we're in our mid 30s, so hardly past it). We asked one of the passing bar staff to turn it down, where she did, and it was fine. Then another member of the staff walked over to the volume and turned it up louder than before. At this point it was so loud the 7 month old started crying, so we just left. Came out, not exaggerating, to ears ringing. Thought I'd left fabric. It was only about 5.30pm. We do go in regularly and of course with the huge outside area in the summer it's amazing. Service does seem to be a continual issue however, full of arrogant staff that make it clear they're doing you a favour to serve you

My wife and I have been to this pub regularly and really enjoy our visits. It is not cheap, but the position on the river is excellent. In years gone by, it was not very well frequented and it was a bit soulless but that has all changed over the last few years. The management have done a great job to change that as the food has improved significantly since we first started going there. In the summer, the outside seating is really enjoyable and the best tables are not bookable, so it is the "luck of the draw", but usually something comes up. We have had Sunday roasts a couple of times and the beef is excellent - tasty, good meat and plentiful. The service we have experienced has always been attentive but not over bearing. This is not a pub in the traditional sense because it is in a modern building so the atmosphere is not the usual "cosy pub", but it is comfortable and not overly noisy.

The Sunday roast is the best one in the area! The chicken and the veg roast w had were both piping hot, full of flavour and the perfect portion size. The service was friendly and super efficient. Going to be our home from how. This winter!

We booked to go on the second of January, with the £25 deposit but was called back to say that they were closing that day at 5pm. We rescheduled to go on the weekend instead. The food was really nice but we saw a mouse in there which wasn’t pleasant. They have a hygiene issue that they need to fix, especially if they’re handling raw foods like sushi. There were little holes in the wall next to where we sat so we were eager to leave once we noticed the mouse. I felt bad as the employees were really wonderful, otherwise it it was any other place I would have asked to not pay the bill. We didn’t even finish the food as we felt put off by the mouse. Spent £130 on the food. Also The blond lady dressed in white was really polite and sweet. We really liked her she made us feel welcome. I hope she sees this and has a good day!

EDIT: Thank you for your response, however, it is NOT true. Your last order was NOT at midnight. We were there so it is unbelievably rude of you to suggest we are not being truthful. What do noise restrictions have to do with party favours or party hats or balloons? We love this pub, and have been frequenting it regularly for a couple of years. However, we were so disappointed when we went a couple of nights ago for New Year's Eve. We presumed there would be a touch of New Year atmosphere (dj or otherwise) party hats, party favours, etc. A special toast. There was nothing and it was really disappointing. The last call was around 11pm. Really, on New Year's Eve? This is a beautiful lovely pub. Someone needs to take an interest in it however in order to create an inviting atmosphere. Also, bring back the Friday night disco nights?

Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely place!

Quality of the food is very good, a lovely spot to take your loved ones. Definitely on the pricier side, but with genuine views of the river and Wandsworth Bridge. We had the Sunday roast and starters, all delicious and good portions.

Organised a staff Christmas dinner party here and the service was 10/10. Stephen was really supportive and helpful throughout the planning, he was also really patient with amendments made. The waiters that served us were very kind! Thank you also to the chef who made sure all our food requirements were met! :) A great time was had thank you all.

I went with my friends for Sunday roast. What a wonderful place! We had sharing chicken . The best roast ever! Friend of mine had Sunday roast pork. It was melting in his mouth. Crackling was amazing. The best vegan sticky toffee ever! Definitely I will definitely come back!

El servicio fue impecable de principio a fin. Nuestro servidor estaba bien informado sobre el menú y tanto amable y atento. En general, The Waterfront es una opción fantástica, ya sea que esté buscando relajarse en el bar o disfrutar de una comida memorable. Con su excelente selección de bebidas, platos sabrosos y un ambiente acogedor, es un lugar que recomendaré a amigos y al que definitivamente volveré.

This is a special place to me and it is a wonderful place to be. Sitting by the water, getting lost in a place that welcomes you to be in it. Truly a beautiful pub that gives you more than you can think of.

We recently visited The Waterfront and were thoroughly impressed! We shared the seafood platter accompanied with a bottle of Gavi. Fabulous! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and both friendly and attentive. Overall, The Waterfront is a fantastic choice whether you’re looking to unwind at the bar or enjoy a memorable meal. With their excellent drinks choice, flavourful dishes, and inviting atmosphere, it’s a place I’ll be recommending to friends and definitely returning to.

Esperé más de 30 minutos para que llegara la comida - fría, y quiero decir muy fría. Luego tuvo que esperar otros 30 minutos para reemplazos. La calidad de la comida era mala. Al personal no le importó que la comida estuviera fría. Quizás deberían revisar la comida antes de entregarla a la mesa. ¡Asombrosamente pobre!

The service was excellent, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and made great suggestions. Shalom was friendly and very helpful! The food was delicious, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Roast pork was superb! Crispy roast potatoes, delicious gravy, melting pork in mouth with beautiful crackling! Fantastic views! Had a drink in the Waterfront this evening and very disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the place. Very grubby!! I didnt try the food and wouldnt with the above issues.

Only went to the pub for some drinks and nibbles on Friday night! We sat outside and the staff helped us with the outdoor heating so we could stay as warm as possible. Pub was closing and Alex one of the waitresses was very friendly and gave us as much time as she could for us to finish our beers before we had to leave. Thanks Alex, you are a star!

Having family nearby we would normally plan a trip for meal to waterfront due to excellent location but recent experience was quite awful. Tried to order childs sausage & chips to be told no pork sausages so changed and then requested adults sausages and mash which was fine at time of order but subsequently told after paying no sausages either!!! Got most of our order bar one meal reasonably quickly and when queried was told that someone had gone to shop to purchase lettuce!! Eventually last meal arrived after everyone else had nearly finished. Unfortunately have had more poor meals in waterfront than good so we as family group will not be back which is disappointing

We are regulars at the waterfront, which we usually really enjoy going to! Not sure if a change in management but service was chaotic, staff all huddled together and swearing - a real lack of effort or care. Drinks were made wrong; we ordered margarita spritz but got mojito spritz made with tequila. I get that sometimes it’s easy to drop the ball during the lull of a busy shift, but it really isn’t a good look.

Abysmal service, booked for dinner and ended up walking out.

Alfie was amazing. We weren’t the exactly the easiest bunch but he was patient and did everything with a smile. Was really impressed with his service. 10/10

Visited this place this evening to grab some dinner and a couple drinks. Myself and my girlfriend sat outside at first and enjoyed our drinks. Great view and atmosphere. But at 16 pounds for 1 330ml bottle of beer and 1 aperol spritz I'd expect as much. We then went inside to eat and given that it's a Sunday we both went for the Chicken roast. I also tried to order us a side each of Stuffing but was told that it had ran out. Not the end of the world but I then tried to order a full fat coke and was told that wasn't available either. The roast was OK. It tasted pretty good and it was nice to finally eat somewhere where they didn't overcook the chicken and undercook the vegetables. Not really enough Gravy but at the time we didn't consider it anything to complain over as we mostly enjoyed the meal. However when I got home I had another look at their menu, and through the list of what's included in all their roasts, I realised that a couple of items were missing (mainly the parsnips). After mentioning this to my partner she also highlighted that her meal didn't come with any Carrots whilst mine had. Overall not a terrible experience. But after paying 60 quid for two incomplete meals, 3 drinks, and a somewhat indifferent level of service it's highly unlikely we'll be back.

The ambiance was inviting, the service attentive, and the view of the river Thames truly enhanced the experience. It's a perfect place to relax and indulge in delicious treats while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Just a quick beer here whilst on a walk. Lovely place and looked lovely. Large area outside under sun umbrellas with heaters if needed, right on the Thames. Well worth a go. Menu and food liked good but we didn't try it.

Really disappointed with the service. It was a Tuesday night so not a particular busy evening. The service was appalling. We were a group of 8 and we all ordered our food. Some of the dishes arrived within 10 minutes. 3 dishes didn’t arrive for over an hour. When we enquired as to where they were, we were told 10 minutes. After another half an hour, still no food! The rest of the party finished their food finally an hour and 40 minutes later the remaining 3 dishes arrived! When we expressed our disappointment the manager just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Wouldn’t go back again.

Had a wonderful evening. Booked for for dinner and received the most wonderful, warm welcome, service and experience we could have hoped for. Food was incredible, quick to be served, and left us wanting to return. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. A must visit if you are in Wandsworth!

Does what it says on the tin, waterfront pub with outdoor seating overlooking the Thames river. Good place to spend a summers evening with friends. There are a few TVs dotted about the place showing the sport when a big game is on. Mixture of seating and relaxed sofa areas.

Amaizng views and sunny spots perfect for the great weather out. Nice choice of wines, burger was good quality too. Unfortunately stuff messed my friends drinks and we waited for long time for drinks to be delivered to the table therefore taking one point for this

We have come to this restaurant few times already but today (29/06) was really bad. The food took 90min to arrive! We had young children who felt asleep before the food arrived as it was so late. I told the manager few times about this. We tried to order some extra drinks and the lady at the bar said they were not offering more cocktails at that time at night (22h). I tried to ask then for some tap water for a table of 6 and the guy at the bar told me he was too busy and he could only offer me a glass of tap water. Then I asked again to another bartender and he just took a dirty bottle from the top of the bar left by other customers , re-filled it and gave it to me. Sorry but this is not hygienic. To make things worse, my trout fillet was off so I could not eat it. When I asked for the bill the bartender gave it to me to snatched back quickly after 10 seconds and broke it in front of my eyes without saying a word. He just told me to put the credit card and pin number. I was left speechless. Hope management will take this review seriously and take action to improve things as it is a pity such a nice place has a bad customer service.

Staff were nice but looked very tired and uninviting for a sunday evening in the summer. The food was OK, but nothing amazing. The mozarrlla is mozarella, not burrata as advertised. Also the staff is not well versed in dietary restrictions.

It's a great spot to catch up with the friends for a drink or meal. Love the atmosphere and, of course, the fact that it is by the riverside. 🙂

Excellent location - good attention from the staff. For a premium spot may need a bit more sprucing. But the Sunday roasts are just not fit for purpose or value for money at all. Drinks are priced to be seen with ...

Together with my friends we decided to have roast at Waterfront! We decided to try chicken, beef and trio. Oh my God! Absolutely delicious! The best gravy ever. Perfect amount of roast vegetables. Beautiful crispy potatoes! Definitely I will come back for more! Service was fast. Stephen was superb!

Rude staff, do not recommend Took them 20 minutes to pour a glass of wine and a Guinness and charged me for eating the olives that were on there bar It's a shame, it's a lovely spot ruined by the staff who think they're better than the customers

Bad food, most of the waiters/waitresses are rude. The weirdness is towards certain people even if those people were old people or families with young kids. This comment is very polite given the reality experienced.
