Sports Bar & Grill Clapham Junction in Wandsworth

Under staffed, food took over an hour and was terrible, some of my friends food never arrived. TVs have a lag and the colour is off. And the waiter tried to start a fight with my friend. Avoid at all costs.

Very quiet & chilled out for a Monday evening. Just one downside, Neckoil was not on the menu. Otherwise, everything else was.

Positive: lots of screens to watch football Negative: everything else. Had ‘wing Wednesday’ on - had no wings. Ordered two burgers and a pizza, only brought one burger then waitress told us we’d never ordered two burgers. Burger was honestly dreadful, £16 and worse than a McDonald’s cheeseburger (and smaller). Dreadful service. Very expensive drinks Fine for watching sport. Not good if you want anything else

Do not have the MVB burger. I'm not sure which national award it's won, except worse in form

Booked a table to watch the boxing by calling and speaking to a team member. Turned up for my booking and they didn’t have my booking. I’m pregnant and the staff were rude and offered zero help to rectify the situation! Won’t be coming back.

Aweful service, not that i came for service, but i just wanted to eat and watch sports. Ordered veggie burger, chef without notifying me decoded to replace half of the ingredients and stick corriander which i hate and ask previously if veggie burger vontains it. Asked the waiter twice about what i was brpught in, he went with my plate twice to chef looking at me like i am some demanding spoiled brat, came back with same answers that chef decided to replace ingredients as they run out. Again - not what i have ordered! No apology, no replacement, i paid for what i have ordered and expect it to be delivered. I you cant fulfill - come speak to me. They didnt even offered refund or any replacement and continued looking at me as i am crazy

Staff were nice. There was one other person in the bar when we ordered food. It took a very long time to come out and when it did both mine and my friends burgers were the driest and most overcooked burgers we have both ever had. Unbelievably tough. As if it was put in an oven and forgotten about. An actual struggle to eat. Possibly the worst I've ever had. Words can't describe how bad they were.

I always struggle to find places where certain sports are shown. It might not have the best food whatsoever, but it will show every single sport match you desire. From Football, Tennis, F1, to Golf, Cricket and others. They even have La Liga! I’ve come a couple of times and the atmosphere is stunning. On busy days and important events is better to book a table in advance, otherwise you might not be able to get in. Food and drinks took a while to arrive when ordered from the app, and quality is like any other kind of pub, not their strength.

Food is very expensive for the quality. They hike prices of drinks up during the football (over £8 for a pint of beer) rather than having offers like most places. They don't honour drink deals on the Mixr app

A group my guy and girlfriends were turned away from here yesterday for absolutely no reason, by a very short and rude bouncer. He even then went on to make racist remarks, saying ‘All you French are the same’. I’ve been living in Clapham for 20 year, but I will never come back here and advice all my friends the same.

Had some hiccups eating there for the first time the other week where the bar Staff/kitchen miscommunicated and got our order wrong three times…thankfully Jake and Faith saved the day by compensating for this.

Great venue for sports. So many TV's, Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Had a wicked time here with my mates. If you go dont forget to try their pizzas ... they are absolutely amazing!

Terrible experience. 1 chef working on a Saturday peak time. Food wasn’t warm or nice and took over an hour to come. Had to chase the delivery of our drinks. Staff didn’t seem to care.

Sat at an unreserved table, got verbally abused to leave. Never going again. Extortionate prices. Avoid.

Went in and sat at a table that wasn't reserved. After 20 minutes we were suddenly (and very rudely) told that we had to leave because the table was actually reserved. The staff were nice but the manager was incredibly rude to us. Would never recommend.

Went to here on the off chance was pleasantly surprised. Great staff and great atmosphere would definalty put this in the plan for next time. Food, service and drinks were all spot on!!! 10/10

Great pub to pop into once getting into Clapham !! Just round the corner from the station and a fab spot to watch a cheeky bit of sport

Cold, cheap decor inside, no atmosphere as prices are too high for the venue. Staff ask for tips when you go to the bar and order a pint. They stopped playing commentary for the game at half time, instead replacing it with music no one wanted. This place is useful for watching sport and that's about it.

If I'm honest the food is terrible bland cheap ingredients. The atmosphere is good on match days, sometimes there are massive groups of men coming and going to matches getting a bit rowdy. The staff are great apart from 1 of the managers, the one will long dark hair, don't discuss anything with her as she takes it personally and wants to argue rather than hearing people's concerns. Customer service training is required which is not just about having a pretty face...

Came in here for an afternoon of sport with friends, lunch and a few drinks. Staff were great and fixed up the TVs how we wanted them - although not very friendly at all. Unfortunately the kitchen was a shambles. Very very few things available on the menu. Took us 3 attempts at ordering something - even then 2 came back as not available. What we did have was really ordinary I am afraid to say. The manager was helpful to be fair as the staff member had no clue what to do. They probably just had a bad day but we will be giving this place a miss from now on.

Horrible food. Waited about 20 mins for food before they came out to say that the stuff we ordered was unavailable. Found bits of cling wrap in mac and cheese

We came for a bottomless brunch unfortunately the kitchen wasn't working but we had a great service from a staff member called Daniella who provided us with alternatives and made our experience still great. Will be back soon thank you again Daniella .

Awful experience. I don't post reviews very often but this was not a good experience. Lunch deal on the website was not available. NO desserts at all available. No other guests around when we arrived. Food was below average and at over £20 per head, it was a complete rip off. The only good thing is the location just by Clapham Junction and as it was raining heavily we could not be bothered going somewhere else. An embarrassing experience since I had invited a guest to join me for lunch. The waitress was very apologetic. Owners, sort this business out!

I have been here once before and felt disappointed then. Wings were good but service just poor and loads of things not available on the menu. Thought would give a second try today with family. Walked in there sat down to a sticky table, had to collect our own menus. Then decided what we wanted when a staff member came up to us. She didn’t say hello just looked out the window whilst talking to us… well and few grunts … she went away and came back to say there were no desserts and half a page of food wasn’t available neither… at this point we left and decided wouldn’t bother. Just poor disengaging service with limited menu… almost feels like they do not want customers

Good place for sport (as you would expect) can get busy so booking ahead is advised for big events

Went to the Clapham Junction Sports Bar and Grill and ordered food for myself and a friend. The “cheesy garlic bread” was dreadful. Considering it was £4.00, I expected a lot more than x3 slices of a 40p garlic bread baguette from Aldi with cheddar thrown on top, then microwaved. I’d post a picture so you can see the comedic quality if it’d let me. Disappointed to say the least.

£16 for a premixed cocktail out of a tap ludicrous I actually couldn’t believe it, wasn’t even presented nicely and was only half full. Told them I didn’t want it at that price and asked for a refund which the manager laughed at and told me wasn’t her decision was the companies - poor customer service! Beers were all flat too, certainly won’t return.

A really nice bar man gave my dog a bowl of water without asking while I was watching the Everton Spurs game today. I also appreciate him sharing his personal story about his own dog. The venue also looked great with loads of TVs showing the match at the same time.

Awful place. First time I was there I fell off a broken seat/high bench near the window. I hurt my arm. I told the staff, but by the time I had left they still hadn't put a warning sign up. I had to tell people not to sit there! Second time I was there was last night and as I got to the bar there was no bar staff to be seen. Eventually someone came out from siiting down in the offfice area at the end of the bar. I then ordered a coke zero, they then charged me £4.40! I asked if they were giving me a pint of coke zero, to which they replied yes. I said to them I did not order a pint and asked if that why it was £4.40? They then apologised, but by that time I had already paid for the drink. No refund was offered. Your staff need to be trained to ask if the customer would like a pint first instead of just assuming and over charging the customer.

Genuinely love this place for watching sport but I had a pint of asahi…. £7.40… expected in Clapham now. Then I got a bottle of asahi (330ml)….. charged me £7.30. Outrageous for a bottle, Mayfair hotels would even charge that. Lesson…. Get the pint

I spent the afternoon there with one of my managers. I was served by a young chappie who said his name was Jake. He was exceptional. He was so hospitable and was excellent at upselling. With a few more years in the pub industry, hewill be GREAT!. He has the right attitude.

Met some friends here for drinks as conveniently located close to station. They ran out of Heineken, then ran out of Stella and then Asahi. We’d ordered food already, so fed up with poor service and lack of supply we cancelled the order and left! Terrible service, think there was one bar man serving as the other was running late! Charging premium prices for a mess, best close this place and start again!

The big Santa burger was great, the cocktails got me lit , and Daniella was an amazing host , she even made me and my friends drink water.

Booked this brilliant place for a team event. The manager Alan and his team we’re fantastic and helped our event run smoothly. All food and drinks we pre ordered was served promptly and the hero buffet was delicious especially the cheese burger sliders!!

Popped in here on a Saturday night for a flyer in between trains. Some boxing was in and the setup was pretty good with tvs at most tables. I opted for a Pride which was on keg and you just can’t compare it to the cask version. I get the compromise but sometimes you light as well not bother. Not the bar’s fault though more a Fuller’s issue. The door staff were really miserable and unwelcoming and the bar staff weren’t much better. The setup for sports was good though, but just not comparable with other pubs in the area for a beer. A generous 3/5. Don’t like the AI/third party reviews of this place either. Be careful of those! Feels quite desperate.

Food took forever to come out, and when it did, I wished it hadn't. It was burnt to a crisp.. the "stone baked pizza" was clearly shop bought and they charged me £15.50 for the privilege. NEVER coming back again.

Great place to watch the F1 with a pint. They have 3 active menus so the staff struggle ordering anything (according to the staff not me). Food is very expensive for Weatherspoons quality food.

Probably one of the best places to catch any type of sport. Numerous screens, some in booths, and 3 large projector screens. Quite pricey on the drinks, and food is just standard sort of pub-grub. Gets busy during the big sporting events, so book ahead.

The bar itself looks good, plenty of TVs and sport. The beer was flat and the service was not helpful. It was half empty and we were told "Don't ask for cocktails as I won't be making any." Terrible and I won't be returning.

My favourite sports bar in the area! Food was amazing, with a great selection of burgers and beer! Team looked after us so well and can't wait to come back!
