The Northcote in Wandsworth

First time visiting Northcote from Italy and I was very happy! The food was just as good as home and the service was bellissima!!! Can’t wait to try there famous roast

As a vegetarian I often struggle to find good options in pubs but here they have a good variety of options. I had the plant burger which was delicious but the vegan Caesar salad also looks great and other things I saw on the menu. Defo recommend for veggie/vegan pub grub

First pub I came to when moving from Aus and the beers and vibes are amazing!!! Great service and even have an Aussie beer on tap will deffo be back soon!

1st dinner in London on Thursday : Friendly staff, great burgers and beers, we had our home nearby and I saw that during the weekend it’s been very crowded.

Great banter, amazing cocktail skills, great lad all round , 10/10 Ru!!

The decor is sympathetic to the history of the pub. Looks to be a good place to meet friends for lunch or a get together after work.

Geeza behind the bar is a straight killer. I’ve never seen a bloke operate a bar with such effortless precision. He knows what you’re thinking. Truly a pleasure to be served by the man.

Lovely wine, lovely jubel and great bar snacks. We got the honey mustard sausages, and the chorizo mac and cheese, definitely recommend. Jack and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Although I’d suggest booking or coming early because as the night went on the place was packed! We didn’t do the quiz which was on tonight, but it looked super busy and we can’t wait to come back.

We had an incredible dinner and great Guinness while saying goodbye to friends who were going back to Australia. Thank you, Sam, for your great service.

I always pop into the Northccte on my way to Brixton. They do a nice. Pint of PRAVAH......Sets me up nicely for my journey on the 35. or 37 to Brixton........regards......mark

Jack, at the time of my trip, is one of the friendliest barmen I have met. He said I could keep one of the glasses, which I thought was really sweat of him. Definitely returning next year and will be a regular pub for me. Very clean pub aswell hehehe

Really really great food, came for a Sunday and the sharing platter was divine.

Came here with my friends for some snacks and drinks and it was lovely, defiantly recommend the duck croquettes, would recommend for a nice lunch at the weekend

What a lovely pub, the staff are so accommodating, especially the manager jack who made us feel very welcome! Great place to watch the footy and some nice scran as well.. not forgetting a great choice of bevs. Highly recommend!!

Came for a roast and did not disappoint! The food was really good, we all had great portion sizes and the staff were really friendly as well as accommodating to dietary requirements. Thank you guys would definitely recommend!

This is the only place with actually good customer service in London. We ordered the trio of roasts for two people and it was beyond generous servings. Absolutely massive - would better serve three! Great value for money!

The manager was superb, wine was not up to the standard and he changed the bottle for us without a problem. He gave me a refund that I am still waiting to get back in my card today. Hopefully the money will be back shortly.

Decent pub with lots of seating, perfect to end a day of shopping at Northcote road.

Go to pub for the Clapham area for good vibes, drinks, and food. They have good events for sports and everything but none the less would recommend. Can get busy after work on the weekdays but makes for a good atmosphere!

Came in for a Sunday roast with my boyfriend yesterday the food was great and the staff were so friendly, Sophie was especially cheery, overall the experience was fab we will definitely be returning !

Pretty average British pub. But Jesus, two pints of Asahi for £15? Northcote bar and the road itself need to get tf over themselves (maybe just London in general, too). There are much more charming options for less money.

Service was really excellent - Jack the manager really took care of us and was really friendly and welcoming to my parents and sister who were visiting and even gave us recommendations for other pubs to visit! Would def visit again.

The worst pub in London. I’ve never felt anger quite like it. The worst people in the worst environment. It ticks every Clapham stereotype I hate everything about it.

I hate this pub, been three times, worst pub in London, too busy, crowd is the worst kind, staff are actually decent tbf, I never want to go back, pints are too expensive, I just don’t understand why it’s so busy

We hired the private room for our son's Christening for 25 guests over lunch. Vilija went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and Sable did a brilliant job looking after us on the day. The food was delicious and the portion sizes very generous! Thank you again for looking after us so well.

It has a great atmosphere with unreal music which makes it always feel upbeat and lively, also very good for dogs and families as the staff are all very friendly and love to play with them and always treat everyone very well. It has all the big sports events which are great too see such as football, rugby etc which are great viewing

Very nice place, the guy Jack who work there, is making it lively and fun to be there. Hes always around and talking to everybody. From the baby to the old guy. I deffently recommend to go there.

Came in with a few friends for a couple of pints and a catch up and got served by a lovely Irish girl. Was looking at the menu and got recommended a sharer called the chicken and friends so we went for it and it was amazing! Can’t wait return again and try the chippy board

Easily the best pork roast we’ve had in London. The Sunday pub quiz is also great.

The best chicken snitzel we have had since leaving Australia. Jeorgia was a gem.. so unobtrusive, efficient and friendly. You have made 2 old Ozzies very happy. .. We found the noise level intense but were old..lol. thats all about the atmosphere. Special thanks to the manager who was out there keeping his finger on the pulse. Great management style.

Pretty nice and cosy pub, they have music on fridays and sundays. Feels like a cosy club. It’s a little bit too expensive for what it is but i guess it s clapham isnt it?

Beautiful pub, best pint in south west London by far! Staff are very attentive and a great selection of food and choice of pints. I shared a chippy board with my friends and it was delicious! Tom McCleave is an absolute diamond of a bartender and would be fit to serve drinks to the king.

Popped in for a late lunch. The food was nice, the decor was ok, the staff (new) but overall a great place to catch up with friends. As it got busier the atmosphere was great and the manager was really lovely.

I was here a few weeks back for the Six nations, great day all round, staff were all superb but a special mention to Will who went above and beyond! Add to that great Guinness and perfect view of the screens from just about anywhere, what’s not to love!
