Good food, good service, good atmosphere and dog friendly, what more do you need!

I WAS ROBBED! Oh wait, that was just their prices for bang average food. FYI they charge you more than it says on the menu for food. Decent Guinness though.

We had our work's christmas dinner here and this was by far the best we've had! Staff were so so friendly, caring, chatty, helpful and the food was really delicious, honestly could not find a fault. Thank you so much!!

The Northcote looked after us for our Christmas work lunch, they were great throughout and food was very good. Would recommend.

Food menu issues. And a bit lacklustre food. Staff seem ok overall, and the atmosphere is good. Certainly worth a second visit but not for the food.

The whole family, 10 people, went here on Sunday afternoon, including my 3 grandchildren, to celebrate my son's 40th birthday. We all had a great time. The food was delicious. The lady serving us was so attentive and friendly. The portions were huge, even the kids roast. Have to say the Guinness was very good 👍. Live football to keep grandkids happy 😊. A very pleasurable afternoon evening .

Disappointing. We had family visiting and took them here because we’d always had good experiences in the past, but this time it took so long to get drinks and food, even though we ordered on the app, and my meal wasn’t edible in parts (the mushy peas actually tasted as if they had gone off). Both of the Young’s ales were off. We had asked for a high chair in advance but were told there was only one and it was broken.. so I’m not sure this can be called a family friendly pub. All in all, wouldn’t go again - too expensive for the standard of the food and quality of service

Popped in for a couple of beers. Some ales on offer, but not many. Nice atmosphere but very busy on a Thursday evening.

The Northcote is a great place for some drinks and to hang out with friends. Its comfortable, relaxed, and staff here is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time, the drinks were good and so was the food.

Nice bar with a good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful - Lucy makes a great cocktail and Ru had some great beer recommendations. Mollie told us about quiz night on Sunday so we'll be back for that!

What a pub! Came with the family and dog, staff were incredible - I swear the dog had better service than us! Roasts were scrumptious, service impeccable - big shoutout to Meg and Sophie, so attentive and somehow made me eat 3 Yorkies (don’t tell anyone!) could not recommend enough - any day of the week! Can’t wait for the rugby!

We sat at the room upstairs and ordered via the mobile order facility. They have QR codes on the tables for ordering. No drinks 30 mins later. We had to go down to ask, only to be told that nobody looks at the mobile orders. Like, whatever.

3 adult ladies visiting London decided to go for a meal in here tonight. We found a table and hesitated if to go somewhere else as wasn't sure on the menu what to order. One of us being vegan. Then Jack came over. OMG this young man went above and beyond. To say he was amazing is an understatement, just 💯 professional, friendly and an extremely helpful man. 🥰

The sticky toffee pudding was divine! Amazing staff and cozy atmosphere with a banger playlist :)

Old fogey alert. Nice place, good food but music too loud in the upstairs room, where we went for a conversation rather than the crowds downstairs. Overpriced wine brought rating down

First time visiting Northcote from Italy and I was very happy! The food was just as good as home and the service was bellissima!!! Can’t wait to try there famous roast

Came on Sunday with a group of friends to watch the arsenal game and the pub was buzzing. Friendly and quick service throughout and the sharer roast was more than enough to feed us all! Looking forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu!

As a vegetarian I often struggle to find good options in pubs but here they have a good variety of options. I had the plant burger which was delicious but the vegan Caesar salad also looks great and other things I saw on the menu. Defo recommend for veggie/vegan pub grub

First pub I came to when moving from Aus and the beers and vibes are amazing!!! Great service and even have an Aussie beer on tap will deffo be back soon!

1st dinner in London on Thursday : Friendly staff, great burgers and beers, we had our home nearby and I saw that during the weekend it’s been very crowded.

The decor is sympathetic to the history of the pub. Looks to be a good place to meet friends for lunch or a get together after work.

Geeza behind the bar is a straight killer. I’ve never seen a bloke operate a bar with such effortless precision. He knows what you’re thinking. Truly a pleasure to be served by the man.

Lovely wine, lovely jubel and great bar snacks. We got the honey mustard sausages, and the chorizo mac and cheese, definitely recommend. Jack and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Although I’d suggest booking or coming early because as the night went on the place was packed! We didn’t do the quiz which was on tonight, but it looked super busy and we can’t wait to come back.

We had an incredible dinner and great Guinness while saying goodbye to friends who were going back to Australia. Thank you, Sam, for your great service.

I always pop into the Northccte on my way to Brixton. They do a nice. Pint of PRAVAH......Sets me up nicely for my journey on the 35. or 37 to Brixton........regards......mark

Jack, at the time of my trip, is one of the friendliest barmen I have met. He said I could keep one of the glasses, which I thought was really sweat of him. Definitely returning next year and will be a regular pub for me. Very clean pub aswell hehehe

Came here with my friends for some snacks and drinks and it was lovely, defiantly recommend the duck croquettes, would recommend for a nice lunch at the weekend

What a lovely pub, the staff are so accommodating, especially the manager jack who made us feel very welcome! Great place to watch the footy and some nice scran as well.. not forgetting a great choice of bevs. Highly recommend!!

Came for a roast and did not disappoint! The food was really good, we all had great portion sizes and the staff were really friendly as well as accommodating to dietary requirements. Thank you guys would definitely recommend!

This is the only place with actually good customer service in London. We ordered the trio of roasts for two people and it was beyond generous servings. Absolutely massive - would better serve three! Great value for money!

The manager was superb, wine was not up to the standard and he changed the bottle for us without a problem. He gave me a refund that I am still waiting to get back in my card today. Hopefully the money will be back shortly.

Decent pub with lots of seating, perfect to end a day of shopping at Northcote road.

Go to pub for the Clapham area for good vibes, drinks, and food. They have good events for sports and everything but none the less would recommend. Can get busy after work on the weekdays but makes for a good atmosphere!

Pretty average British pub. But Jesus, two pints of Asahi for £15? Northcote bar and the road itself need to get tf over themselves (maybe just London in general, too). There are much more charming options for less money.
