Dos desayunos con bebidas calientes por alrededor de £ 12. 50, no puedes quejarte. Esto es más limpio y más profesionalmente dirigido que otras cucharas, y afortunadamente NO Ken Shabby y sus amigos chav aquí hoy. Chica en el bar era eficiente, pero los desayunos no eran brillantes, con pudín negro seco y Luke marrón hachís caliente, pero no lo suficiente para quejarse. Las mesas habituales diseñadas para 4 personas son ocupadas por bebedores solitarios que extienden su papel, lo que hace bastante obvio que no compartirán la mesa, independientemente de lo ocupada que esté. Lovely and fast treatment. The food was not very good. But a very good place where you can have breakfast at any time.

First of all, the staff discriminated against Chinese people. If you’re a local, the servers will bring the drinks to your table, but we had to go downstairs to get our drinks and bring them to our table on the second floor. The entire time, they watched us through the surveillance cameras. I told them I don’t drink alcohol, and they said I didn’t need to show my ID in that case. When we brought the drinks back to our table, I smelled the dark beer out of curiosity because I had never had it before. Then, a server came up and asked us to leave, claiming that I had drunk the beer. However, I’m allergic to alcohol, so I couldn’t have drunk it in the first place. The manager insisted that I drank it, not just smelled it. This is clear discrimination against Chinese people.

Absolutamente increíble servicio, traté de conseguir nuestras bebidas yo mismo porque estaban muy ocupados, al hacerlo se me cayó toda la bandeja de bebidas tratando de subir las escaleras. Me sentí absolutamente fatal por ello, pero el personal era fantástico, no solo eran directos en limpiar mi desastre, sino que también reemplazaron las bebidas que se me cayeron, que no podíamos creer. Muchas gracias 😊

Great pub. Staff worked really hard so nobody was waiting for so drink. It was mad friday for Christmas and they did a fantastic job. Some great Christmas Real beers. We had a great time. Well done to all staff. I love this pub

I’m very disappointed how I was treated by staff I have special needs and autism I tried to explain a concern and went to tell the staff but they didn’t help me and I was just speaking up for myself said I wasn’t happy and they then said I was rude so I’m rude for speaking up and then they said I can’t come back don’t feel right to me at all I thought the customer always right there also a lot of angry people upset about this the manager who ever made this decision as got it wrong to do this I’m very polite and well known lad and always have respect i never had any issues before so why now I jush very confused 😕 by this I really am I think this is discrimination agaisnt disabilities I never had any issue with anyone they need to listen to customers and stop banning people for no reason I didn’t hurt anyone and have no reason to not come back I was just speaking up concerns I think they totally got it wrong and so so loads of other people really 🤔 be careful when u go here u get barred for nothing I really thought this pub was great till this happend

El servicio es excelente. El pub siempre está muy ocupado, pero el personal trabaja duro para mantener las mesas limpias, y la comida y las bebidas llegan muy rápido. Nunca he tenido que apilar platos sucios y vasos vacíos en otra mesa como he tenido que hacer en otros lugares de Spoons, ya que los vacíos se eliminan rápidamente e incluso cualquier lío debajo de las mesas se barre rápidamente. Porque estas cucharas de agua - de hecho, todas ellas en Coventry - destacan del resto, por lo general es una gran decepción si voy a uno en otro lugar!

Really quick service from the app and from the bar itself. The food came quickly and was just what we needed. We were able to find a table. Toilets and decor could be improved as per usual in Wetherspoons. This one was a goodie!

Only popped in for a drink. Not bad for a Wetherspoon's.

What's not to love. In a charming character building as usual with cosy corners and drinks at a price you just can't find anywhere else. I ordered a pint of Guiness and half a cider (really nice cider by the way, Thatchers, I think) and the bill was £4.59. It was only when I looked later that I realised my cider cost just £1.

Food came in 5 mins after ordering and was delicous not to noisy here.

A good place for a dinner or just a drink in the city centre. The staff were all lovely. The tables upstairs are better but last time we were with a baby so had to sit downstairs. There were quite a few highchairs available as well as activities for the children. The food was served quickly and everything was tasty. Ladies room and the entire restaurant was very clean, despite that it was quite busy on Sunday evening.

Can't believe how bad this place was. Burnt dried out burgers, waiter spilling drink with no apology. Dirty sticky tables. Never going into a Weatherspoons ever again!

I am totally loving all Wetherspoon as the service is standard across all their restaurants and pubs. The food was served hot which is comforting when the temperature outside is 2C. Place was crowded when we got in - could only mean that locals and tourists alike love Wetherspoon.

I had spicy wings today ! This time was different. It was squishy and did not really enjoy it . It's been twice I feel the same way .hope it goes well

It's a Wetherspoons so it's what you would expect really. Loads of menu options, basically anything you can think of from Indian to burgers, nachos to jacket potatoes and most things in between. It's just a great value option particularly if you have kids. I took my three kids in the school holidays on a Friday about 12.30. There were plenty of seats upstairs although it's worth noting that there is a weird rule that under 12s can't go upstairs. It wasn't really clear why. Downstairs there were fewer seats so if your kids are under 12 might not be the place for you. Ordering is really easy, all down through the app which works pretty well and the food and drinks are brought to your table which is all super convenient. All in all my three kids had a main meal each as did I and all of them came with a free drink. It came to £36. Can't really go wrong. Thoroughly recommended. It's not gourmet but it's much better than Macdonald's. Can't really beat it when you are out and about with the family.

Visited here last week with some friends and was one of the best wetherspoons I've been too. The food was cooked really well and the staff were amazing. We were frequently served by Jack who made sure everything was perfect and had a good laugh with us!

Don't know about food as I don't eat

I ordered a lot of food and drinks today, the staff members who served us were fine. However, when we finally took a mirror picture, that also took us 7 seconds to take one picture but a lady working at the bar said, "Don't take pictures and move out fast." I felt really bad about it and had never experienced such behaviour in my entire life.

An excellent place for beer and light food with friends n town. Prices are normal foof is delicious and the view is marvellous. Only an advice please when customers leave clean the tables don't only take the glasses away!!

Very nice place for people who want to go out for a drink 🍸 and food🍔🍕🍟, instead of a takeaway. We always stayed outside, enjoying the sun and the views of the council house and other buildings around. Accesibile prices for everyone.

Lovely big pub and large beer garden

Didn't eat here, but had a couple of drinks. The tables were cleared promptly when people left and the staff seemed very happy in their work. A lovely place to enjoy a few drinks and the food looked lovely. Would definitely return.

Vino a The Earl Of Mercia para un descanso mientras visitaba Coventry. Es un Wetherspoons y todo lo que esperas de la cadena está ahí, todo. Alfombra de mierda, sillas tambaleantes, algunas cabinas, marcha de ruta a los baños, algunos empleados que parecen levantarse de la cama en el lado equivocado y algunos que parecen tener unos catorce años. Sabes dónde estás en un Wetherspoons. El conde no es diferente, así que tomamos nuestros propios cafés y nos acomodamos para descansar. Un perfecto agua aceptable para obtener una cerveza para casi nada y poner los pies en alto.

Great price on drinks and some outside space near the council house. Not a bad place for a few drinks before Godiva festival. Food is available (although we ate elsewhere).

I (We) went in here for drinks before I attended my driving theory exam; put a lot of ice in my apple juice. Drinks were enjoyable. Staff were friendly upon arrival. The place is relatively clean also.

Very nice environment. The work was amazing exactly how I wanted my tattoo to be. The professional artist was very detailed in the design and her company very nice. I will definitely visit her soon for my second tattoo.

I was there during the motofest weekend for some lunch while working the event, foods always decent in there and well priced, served quite quickly, friendly staff will definitely go there again

As a Weather spoon it was fairly standard. Food was good, beer was good, price was great compared with most places now a days. Very busy and quite noisy, but there were a lot of people in. I'm in a wheelchair but found it easy enough to get to a table and toilet. Door staff were very helpful.

Nice spacious two level pub. Pity ladies toilets are upstairs.

The young lady behind the bar gave us excellent service, she even remembered our round of drinks the few hours we was there. She made us feel welcome. She even advertised us on different shots which were very nice. I've since found out her name Oliwia Lach. Would like her to be Recognised as young people today are never really praise for the hard work they do. Also the manager was a lovely man too

Had breakfast here before I did my theory test a few doors away. It was a good experience, the food was well priced and the service was excellent. I passed my test!

Dropped in for pint and a burger, the usual Whetherspoons food standard...modest quality but that's what we expected. Writing the review really to praise the 3 female members of staff we encountered whilst we sat upstairs on Bank hol Monday around 5pm. They were friendly and service was quick. Thank you.

Ran by aggressive wannabe door staff, management too scared of them to do anything about it

Service was quick and efficient, staff were polite, food was slightly disappointing, portion size of the extra I paid for was a bit stingy. But besides that had a great time.

We arrived here after a lovely early evening meal out at a restaurant in a city centre venue… The time was approx 9. 30pm.:.we are all 58 years old plus.. a group of two couples… when one gentleman went to the toilet he got cornered by a bouncer.. who accused him of vaping.. this person is very anti smoking/vaping… we were all asked to leave.. I was drinking Pepsi max!! This is absolutely ridiculous..

Nice spacious pub, good food and prompt

The size of cod and portion of chips in fish and chips were small compared to other weatherspoons I visited. The beer ordered was flat and never tasted as original ordered brand.

Went for a group breakfast, I used the app to order, everything arrived quickly, only issue is you can't make any change requests on the app but some of our party ordered at the bar and they were happy to make changes. Free refill hot drinks was a hit and the decaf coffee was very nice. Had the traditional breakfast, was hot, tasted fresh and was well cooked. Service was fine, very polite. Very reasonably priced. Would go again.

Excellent pub in Coventry's city centre. A very nice ambient inside a beautiful building with a fast service and friendly staff. The food is great and the price is cheaper than other places. The beer selection and the menu options are also good. I recommend if you are around visiting the historical sites in Coventry.

Brought the kids here for some food at 5PM on Monday 18th December 2023 Denied food service due to the kids be under the age of 12 Seated upstairs due to the bar area being busy and no tables available. Ordered drinks but denied food service Very poor service

Great fast efficient service only real issue was that the staff member bring the food out did inform us that the food was very hot and to beware.... sadly not an issue as it was nearly cold. Otherwise fairly standard fare.
