Absolutely horrific service. If I could rate this no stars I absolutely would. Never enough people behind the bar. Those that are there seem in absolutely no rush to serve anybody. I booked a dinner for 12 people in December and I arrived and the table wasn’t set, they just threw a couple tables together on the spot for me. Then when we went to order food they said they had a function so the kitchen couldn’t accomodate orders for a few hours. Why accept my booking then? Or could you not communicate that earlier? Management need to reevaluate their rostering and processes because something is wrong. Never bother with this place not sure how anyone keeps going back.

Don’t waste your time. As a local I have tried to support this place on numerous occasions and have been consistently left disappointed. Bar service is abysmal, have waited upwards of 20 minutes for a drink with more than enough staff working, equally on other occasions there are no where near enough staff on. Sort it out. On multiple occasions food service has stopped over lunch on a Sunday as it’s been “too busy” - how are you not prepared for this? Why people keep going here is beyond me. The absolute pits.

Recomendó la hamburguesa, que era genial. Después del partido el lugar se puso bastante ocupado, lo que fue divertido. Me divertí y sin duda volveré.

Charlie is a great bartender. Would recommend for a pint, meal or to watch the football or rugby with some friends. Great experience all round.

Unhappy with one of the bouncers, they picked mainly on guys, pretty much treat them like jerks. I was there with my boyfriend and the big tall black guy whom I think is dating the blonde girl behind the bar, was treating all guys like vermin and all girls no matter how drunk or disruptive can get away with anything. Also, after more than 3 years of coming to durrels nearly every week, we were now told we couldn't go in at 11:15, although loads of people were exiting. That just meant more business for little blue door opposite which had excellent bouncer and bar service . In addition, during game day recently, the bar staff engaged in really rowdy scary dialogue with the punters, to the point where a fight was going to break. The management of course didnt care about derby days on a Sunday , so no bouncers there and the atmosphere again simply lacked. Disappointing Durrels, unsure what management is thinking overall, but it doesn't work. Shame

Overpriced, £28 for two drinks. Staff are unproductive and surprisingly rude. As a young person in London, do not go there unless you have a considerable disposable income.

🚇 Parsons Green 🍺 £7.00 Estrella Galicia The Durell Arms is located on a busy stretch of Fulham Road in SW6. The nearest Tube is Parsons Green. This imposing Victorian corner pub was built in 1886. I would presume it is named after Durrell Road, which is the next road to the left of the pub. This is a large one bar pub which has three distinct areas. The main bar area is at the front and has plenty of poser tables and a large screen. To the left is a number of raised comfy booths with a Tv in each one. At the back is a dining area with panelled walls and a huge atrium above. The servery is ‘L’ shaped and is accessible from the front and boothed area. The decor consists of a boarded and chequered floor, a beautiful ornate fireplace, but the star of the show is the marvellous decorative ceiling. At the front of the pub is a small outside space behind some foliage. The beer line up was impressive and had a varied selection of well known and lesser widespread brews. I decided on an Estrella Galicia, my pint was excellent, price point was to be expected in this part of town. The food menu is British classics, Fish & Chips costs £18.00, Roasts take centre stage on a Sunday. I arrived just before 3pm on a sunny but chilly Saturday afternoon in March. The pub was fairly busy with a younger crowd in attendance watching Italy v Ireland Six Nations match. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively at the front bar area and a little more laidback where the booths are. The service was great, the team on duty were welcoming and friendly. Prior to visiting, I was expecting a more Gastropub experience but I was pleasantly surprised to find a thriving drinking environment. A top beer selection, some nice decorative touches and a buzzy atmosphere made for a splendid time spent here. Came here the other day and had the best time ever. We came after our lacrosse practice and NEEDED a drink. Great selection of beers and the new menu was fantastic. Special shoutout to Charlie and Paris for exceptional service. We will defo be back. Thank you guys

My first time at the pub, and was greeted by Paris’s friendly service and lovely smile. Made me feel welcome instantly and since then, the Durrell arms has been my go to pub to catch up on any sports events or to have a drink with a friend.

Fish and chips arrived an hour after ordering and the fish was borderline inedible, rock hard as if it has been in the fryer for 30 minutes. Honestly don’t mind the wait but to serve this for £18 shows absolute lack of respect from the kitchen for the customers’ money. Would have sent it back but didn’t out of interest of the other customers waiting to be served. But it’s just infuriating.

Big busy pub with sports focus. Reasonable food, OK service but no proper beer. 4 handpulls but all out of action: staff didn't seem to know why. Can't be a proper pub without proper beer. Won't be coming back.

Attempted to go to this pub twice in a week. First time - they were not open during their posted open hours. Second time - made a reservation for 6 pm, we were told that they don't even bother to look at reservations made on the same day and the server didn't even bother to look at their reservation list or to see if tables were available. We asked about a wait time and told that they don't know. We were simply told that they weren't going to help us. Not worth the time or effort to go to this pub at all!

Acabo de dejar esta pobre excusa para un restaurante / pub. Reservamos para 22 personas para una cena de cumpleaños. Solo para que me dijeran que no había cenas asadas y la única comida disponible era pescado con papas fritas. 4 personas ordenaron el pescado con papas fritas. 1 plato estaba poco cocido y 2 estaban sobre cocidos. El gerente aceptó darnos un reembolso, pero una transacción fue en efectivo. No había recibo de esto en la caja! (ME PREGUNTO A DÓNDE FUE ESO) Las £ 18 no fueron reembolsadas ya que el gerente tuvo que entrevistar al personal ya que el dinero faltaba. La gente de nuestro partido obviamente estaba molesta y estalló una discusión. La gerente estaba nerviosa y no podía controlar a su personal, que estaba maldiciendo y cerrando puertas en la cara del cliente.

Unfortunately, there are few positive things to note about this pub. Despite the high price demanded, my beer was served to me in a plastic cup, which felt cheap and disappointing. The tables were sticky, the entire establishment had an unpleasant odour, and the back area was poorly lit, creating a dingy atmosphere. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I was recently back in London for work and Durrell Arms was on the doorstep and came highly recommended to me by friends I was staying with and I'm so glad they did - I had some amazing food and decent food. The staff were very welcoming as were the locals - it's well worth a visit and I wish it could relocate to Devon 😁

I recently had a terrible experience at The Durell Arms, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. After enjoying a night out with a friend, our jackets were stolen while we danced. I reached out to the pub multiple times—seven phone calls and messages through Instagram and Facebook—only to be completely ignored. When my friend left a review about our experience, the pub's response was dismissive and alarming. They just stated that theft is common (never had my jacket taken in a pub for the 7 years I’ve been in London) and didn’t bother to check their lost and found or assist us in any way. The staff were rude and unhelpful, which only added to our disappointment. I urge anyone considering visiting this pub to think twice and hope they improve their customer service. I will not be returning and recommend others do the same. And please atleast do the decent thing and offer to check incase they have been handed in for us.

I visited the Durrell arms on Saturday night as I had heard good things about the pub however after my experience I can’t say I’ll be back. A friend and I left our jackets on the chairs in one of the booths so we could dance to the live music and when the pub closed and we went to leave we noticed both jackets were gone (I’ve lived in London for a few years now and never had something like this happen in a pub). We asked the staff if anyone had handed them in but they were very dismissive and were more concerned about getting us out the door so they could close up than helping us. I asked a member of staff behind the bar if anyone had handed them in or if they could check cctv and they pretty much laughed at me saying there was no cameras and what would they even do if they did see it on camera. My friend and I proceed to leave after being ushered out. Once outside I knocked on the door again and asked if I could quickly go check around and was told no, but a staff member asked me what they looked like and that they’d check. The staff member went inside for only a minute, barely long enough to have checked anything, and said they couldn’t find either of them. The following day we tried to call the pub to check if there was anything in lost and found, we tried 7 different times throughout the day but the phone wouldn’t ring through and kept cutting out. We also messaged them on Facebook and DM them on Instagram with still no response. I understand that it’s not the pubs fault that they were stolen, but I am disappointed with the lack of empathy and that the staff were more concerned with getting us to exit so they could close instead of allowing us a minute to look around and make sure they hadn’t just been moved. It’s also crazy that the pub was basically impossible to contact the next day. The customer service was extremely disappointing and I won’t be going back or recommending it to friends. Be cautious it’s a hotspot for thieves!

Reservé una mesa de 9 para mis 30 años, solicité un stand - el gerente me llamó ese día dijo que un stand no cabe 9 así que te pondremos en una mesa. Cuando llegamos la mesa estaba en una habitación completamente separada, detrás de una cortina, en la oscuridad, por nuestra cuenta, mesas sucias. Sinceramente, me sorprendió que pensaran que esto era adecuado, no encendían ni limpiaban la mesa. Manager estaba casi desconcertado que no nos pareció adecuado y agresivo en su estilo cuando expresamos mi insatisfacción. Dando 2 estrellas como lo hicieron en última instancia nos mueven, pero no la manera de tratar una fiesta de 9 que había reservado semanas atrás. No volveremos y no recomendaremos a otros

Walked to Fulham today and popped in. Witnessed complete chaos when the tv was changed and some customers thought they had the right to demand that it was changed. The gentlemen behind the bar not only was calm and collected but at times had to stand his ground and be firm. Credit to himself and credit the company he works in. In a world of the customer is always right …you have to stand behind some basic logic. Great pub great staff!

It was my first time to eat Haidilao. I had a very good impression, especially the Huan Ramen, which everyone praised as delicious and the meat was very fresh, but it was not cheap.

Mediocre bar that you might visit if the little blue door opposite is too busy. Good atmosphere but expensive drinks and the bouncers aren’t the friendliest.

i had such an amazing wonderful time. what a lovely pub great food and beer. the wine list was also very nice. our server Paris was very lovely and attentive making sure we had everything we need. we will definitely be returning

My new favourite hot spot. This place is just vibes. We came in to watch the euros and it’s the BEST VENUE FOR IT. Plenty of screens and atmosphere is unmatched. The staff are so friendly and attentive which is always nice when you’re going out to a pub. One of the Managers Charlie I believe his name is. Took us to our table and looked after us very well. Nothing was to much trouble for him and great banter all round. Great selection of drinks too. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back 100%

Sports pub, staff friendly and professional food ok but small portions for the price so felt a little ripped off as it’s not cheap. In what I would call a normal pub you expect a hefty meal, disappointing for the price, can see now why nobody else was eating.

I absolutely love this place. I've lived in Parsons green for years and this is by far my favourite pub. It's a proper pub, great beer, great atmosphere and the staff are amazing. The manager Ash is an absolute legend, he and all the staff always make me and my family feel so welcome. Top drawer pub.

Great pub, but why oh why would you remove wing wednesdays... especially with no one else in the area offering it. Wont be returning sadly, Wednesday tradition at The DA has ended!

Amazing boozer, We’ve been here a couple times now and every time has been class. There are always vibes here and for the sports it’s brilliant plenty of screens and sound all round. The roast are simply stunning and our service is always top notch. We have had the pleasure of being served by one of the managers Charlie and one of the staff members Beau no task is ever too much for them and they always go above and beyond and it’s really important to always feel welcome when you enter a boozer. We are now frequent customers and would highly recommend. Would also recommend the roast dinners Thank you guys

We are regulars here at the Durell and it never disappoints. Great beer and loads of screns and shows all the sports. Food is delicious and staff is great. Charlie is a top bloke and really makes you feel welcome. Can't recommend highly enough.

Come along when Charlie and Beau are holding fort and you’ll experience pub hospitality like your granddad says is a thing of the past. The food is also way better than you’d think - all in all, get yourself over to the Durell Arms!

Great local pub. Food is good, Sunday roast recommended! Live music every Friday and Saturday. And some of the bands are really good! Entire staff are fast, lovely and serve quickly. Specially Charlie is so friendly, definitely loving his vibe. Security is good, you would feel safe. Also they show every major sport event. Basically this place serves for every occasion! 👍🏻

I've been to the Durell many times and always had a great night. I've also hosted two private charity events in their back room which have gone so well thanks to the amazing work of their team, particularly Charlie who goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is sorted and catered for!

Disgrace. Starters delayed, let alone terrible. 6 people ordered mains, they bring one ketchup. Absolutely no good for food or service. Only beer. But it's hard to get that wrong. In short, still terrible. The paint job didn't do the trick. Don't go and avoid.

The bar staff at the Durell are so lovely, super patient and efficient in their service - especially with how busy it was! The security team were very welcoming and proactive in creating a safe environment :) Loved the live music and had an amazing night! Thank you all :))) x

service was slow having no one at the bar to order drinks! Ordered three small plates which were scampi, croquettes and chips. They were soggy with oil and tasteless. To then have the plates taken away and said that the food was terrible and the bar maid totally ignored the comment and walked away. I never expected the food to be so bad and the one member of staff had no customer care and i will never be re visiting again.
