Amazing people, plenty of vegan options and cheap smoothies! 10/10 would visit again.

Actually I’m local , I have walked passed this cafe almost everyday and try many time hope it’s gonna be better better since Gail’s bakery the big chain cafe has open another side of Barons Court station , I have chosen Gail’s because a quality of products, but from my bottom heart really want to support a local business but many times make me upset. I gave order Pistachio croissant , £3.8 something but what got just only a few pistachio spread over croissant inside just huge custard or cream I’m not sure , couldn’t eat it Service seems just sell and let you go . But atmosphere is quite nice loca super convenient , your choice !

decided to try h&c croissant here this time despite their competitors around the corner. not comparable at all ,first and last time . really small portion (almost empty inside) , not tasty at all and expensive for this kind product.. staff seems welcome …

Like me you may judge a book by its cover and think it's a naff station café. However we gave it a go and the food was really quite delicious. Hearty, juicy meatball pasta. Good portion size and price for the quality

I hardly ever leave reviews, but I love this cafe so much that I thought I should share my experience. I have eaten here everyday for the past 3 months since I started studying at LAMDA, and I don’t have much time to prepare lunch. What I love about this cafe is the fact that the food feels so homemade and the ingredients are so fresh and of good quality. It truly feels as though it’s been made with love. The staff are very caring and helpful, and just wonderful people. You have a variety of choices and can mix and match meals at affordable prices. Definitely recommend! (p.s. 10% off for LAMDA students!)

Went in this morning with my daughter. We had a samosa, a brownie and an almond stick. The quality was beautiful. Everything is made with love, if you are into great quality food and service give it a go. We will be back

Just an update in my opinion this is the best cafe in the barons court station environs My reasoning please see below Try the ham and cheese croissant it's superb Thank you for making this old man very happy, pain au raisen are back what a perfect start to the day Appreciate the effort put in by all the staff to make all the customers are served with a smile it's a pleasure to be a regular. We've come here almost everyday on vacation and staff have always been extremely friendly and welcoming, food and coffee has always been delicious. Would give 10 stars if I could.

What a lovely little gem! I've stumbled on this small coffee shop by chance and was so surprised by the variety and deliciousness of their pastries and sandwiches. If you find yourself nearby, please stop and have something deliciously memorable. After all, it's not everyday one has the opportunity to enjoy something outside the big chains.

Good range of bakery and decent range of sandwiches. Liked it don’t expect huge range of items. But, what ever they serve mostly taste better. Moderate prices but I felt beverages are little costly. I am not from London. May be it’s common in London. I have to check prices around though.

Stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Had coffee, smoothies, and a variety of sandwiches and pastries. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend.

Good quality food but I did ask if a cheese and bacon had the spicy mustard inside, been advised that was not spicy but actually had the English mustard inside and didn't like it as it was a bit spicy... Apart from that very good service quick and happy stuff

Really rude miserable person serving today (Sunday) clearly didn’t want to be there at all. No hello or please or thank you, stayed chatting on its phone the whole time. With Gail’s opening next door really soon you really should do better with your customers service to try and retain your local customers. Roll on Gail’s opening.

Great place to enjoy a coffee and cakes 🎂

So I started coming here shortly after the COVID restrictions were lifted. I have to say, I wasn't familiar with the brand of coffee they use but in all honesty, it had the most decedent profile of any cup of coffee I've ever tasted! It was smooth and silky from the premium Oat Milk (Which isn't cheap so it goes to show they leave no expenses spared!) whilst still delivering a sharp and concise taste each and every sip, leaving you satisfied. Especially given the location, right next to Barron's court station so it's highly convenient to just pop in and grab one for on the go. Prices are more than affordable and do not reflect the price hiking that local businesses in that part of London are practicing. After a couple of daily visits I decided to give the food a try. Now, being a Muslim, I was extremely appreciative of the vast selection of vegetarian and halal meat options that were available! The mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini is to die for. Spinach and ricotta sandwich too! The manager and staff are all very friendly and look after you to your every request, after just the first two visits, the staff had already memorised that I always get a double shot of caramel syrup and 1 of vanilla without having to ask anymore which is really impressive, it takes most baristas at least a good 5-6 visits before they start memorising my order. All-in-all, this is a very underrated establishment in the area and I'd most certainly like to see more branches opening in the near future so I can have my favourite coffee and paninis available from a wider range of locations!

Honestly, I've had the best experiences here. My morning coffee mix isn't the same without the staff at Metro Cafe. Super friendly! Added bonus of great tasting Flat Whites and food. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Este es un pequeño café justo al lado del tubo de Baron's Court (gire a la izquierda al salir de la estación). El café aquí es excelente; Vale la pena detenerse aquí por eso, aunque mi cafetería subsidiada (la mitad del precio) está a solo 5 minutos. Aunque es muy pequeño, siempre hay algunos amigos locales amistosos con buena conversación. Los propietarios son muy amables y ofrecen un delicioso menú de delicatessen para ensaladas, pasteles, panecillos, etc. Sus croissants rellenos son enormes y mi secreto culpable es su delicioso croissant tostado de desayuno. No he probado ningún alimento cocinado aquí, pero también hay disponible un menú completo de desayunos en inglés.

Not impressed at all. you get exactly what u ask for. No more no less. No touch. Nothing special. I had scrambled eggs on brown toast with smoked salmon. The toasty cane without butter. The salmon came without a slice of lemon. The eggs were not fluffy at all. My home made is better! Very very basic. Much worse compared to its neighbour cafés. Good location though and nice collection of juices.

Service friendly. Food came quickly but not the best. £8.00 full English comprised of 2 nice eggs, 1 bland sausage, 1 fatty bacon, 1 toast, beans & cup of tea. Asked for fried bread but she didn't know what it was. Left feeling hungry

Do NOT go for breakfast!!!! I got an 'English Breakfast' - the tiny hash brown was frozen in the middle still, the eggs were overcooked, pale and tasteless (obviously caged), the tiny, tiny portion of bacon and sausage were cheap and nasty! And the baked beans from a tin were the only eatable thing which took up over half the plate! Run a mile from this place! Complete waste of money!

We were staying briefly at a nearby airbnb and happened to stop here for breakfast before heading down to the tube. Good prices and selection, and my daughter said her egg, bacon & sausage sandwich was the best she can remember ever having (and she's an honest critic). The owner was very nice and accommodating- her son spoke with us at length about getting citizenship status for my daughter because he had similar situation with his wife. Great food and helpful advice- we were really glad we had stopped!

Visiting my son in Baron's Court London, Metro Cafe turned out to be our favorite breakfast / brunch place. Always felt welcomed and enjoyed their variety of coffees, toasts, smoothies not to mention their cakes. We made our spot in the little back garden, enjoying our quality time in a very chilled and calm setting with regular visits from the neighborhood robin and squirrel. Recommended!

Pleasant enough, clean and reasonably friendly. In other words, not brilliant. Pretty good. But I guess given the location - right next to the tube - it doesn't have to be.

On our recent visit to London, we stayed at W14 Kensington Hotel. It was a short walk between the hotel and the Barons Court underground station. We noticed a cute little cafe right next to the underground. Wonderful breakfast foods and sandwich assortment. Tasty muffins & croissants. And later in the day, polish dumplings!
