Horrible place. Hubby and I had just recently moved to a nearby village, and we wanted to explore further a field. We went late afternoon, and ordered a coffee. The atmosspehere was akin to something out of the slaughtered lamb(american werewolf in london film). Lots of sweary men propping up bar. nipped to the toilet on the way out, to hear us being talked about quiet loudly! about why we were ordering coffee only, amongst other things! First time in The Duncow , NEVER again.

We travelled from Downham on recommendation from a friend for a family roast which was to be fair a very nice roast, fresh veg and plenty of it, our family meal was marred by the men sat at the bar continually swearing and loudly too, me and my husband have been known to use a bad word or 2 but not when there are children close by, these 2 older "gents" were using F and C words in almost every sentence, the staff could of asked them to tone it down but didn't, so a nice family meal was ruined for us sadly. We wont be returning or recommending the pub

Been several times, the new owners have really expanded the menu, the fish and chips are brilliant, the burgers are huge as is the breakfast menu

Lovely friendly pub in a small village and off the beaten track. The welcome was very warm and good range of gin and ales. The burgers going to tables looked amazing and I really enjoyed the fish n chips I had. Huge beer garden with children's area so we will definitely be back to visit when the weather is better. Nice hidden treasure..

Our table was booked for 1pm and our food arrived at 2.45pm. It was cold, overcooked, and not at all apertizing. Admitted we got 30% off total bill. But not a good experience

5-7 High StreetLovely patient staff(Tara)who helped me find the perfect coffee. The establishment was clean and not busy. I saw lots of delicious cakes but didn't try any.

2 New StreetThis now served "Fully loaded" brand of food to eat in or take away. The food was lovely with huge portions, definitely value for money. The pub plays very loud music in the bar!! and very limited drinks available. Staff were friendly and dogs are welcome.

Hostmoor AveHi its Mark, I just thought after reading "CHIDORI 9519" Review, one should mention whats the point in ordering Tesco Cafe Food over Uber Eats ? Are you Sure the Ubar Eat Driver actually went to Tescos or some cheesy Fast Food Take Away ? In any case how long did the Delivery driver take collecting, Checking the Order and delivering the food ? Could that be why it was Cold ? As for the Errors and Omissions in the Food and Drink you recieved, Isnt it the UBER Who stand there and Check the Order Off before they Deliver it to You ? You know the old saying "If you want something done Properly, Do it yourself" in otherwords get off ones Backside , Walk or Drive to tesco's and eat in the Cafe instead. I've had many a Breakfast and Burger at Tesco Cafe over the years and never had an Big issue, only forgetting the Sugar or a Teaspoon with my Cup and Saucer, its hardly end of the world. I'm satisfied with service and the food.
