We couldn't eat. We only had beer as there is no food service on Sundays.

Our food was delicious and we had a great server Jan who was lovely

Not the greatest neighborhood. Went there for the well recommended fish and chips, which was not available. Took me quite a while to order a drink at the bar (it wasn't too crowded but the only person serving was engaged in conversation with a customer). Took me even longer to get someone's attention to pay the bill. Food was good, just not what I wanted. Won't be returning.

We visited The Duke of Wellington pub in Notting Hill for a casual lunch meal. Overall, we enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the cozy pub feel. The food was good overall, though unfortunately the fish dish we ordered was disappointing. The accompanying 'tartar sauce' was mostly onions and quite unpalatable, which detracted from the meal experience. We appreciated having private bathrooms available, though cleanliness could have been improved. All in all, it was an average experience; good service but just okay food.

Great place for a lunch, we were attended by Jacob and it was so helpful and friendly during our visit! We will come back for sure

Our server Jacob recommended the chicken salad and it did not disappoint! We loved the service and the ambience, and the picked raisins in that salad were a dream. Definitely would come back.

The best pounds spent in London. Historic place, unforgettable fish & chips, well-tapped Guinness. We had a great time!

Good food and beer, in the street where the Portobello stalls are displayed, it is advisable to book as it is very busy especially on Saturdays.

The place is really cozy, perfectly located in the famous Portobello Road. I had the best fish and chips I tried during my trip to London, perfectly done, the fish itself, the potatoes, even the peas. I will definitely come back. The service at the counter was fast and friendly.

I stumbled across this pub when visiting from out of town and couldn’t be happier that I did! The service from Dan and Abban was outstanding and we had a fantastic time. 10/10 would recommend to friends.

we went to this pub tonight and a medium wine was a third of a glass and a small one was a quarter of a glass...the toilets were disgusting and one was blocked up to the rim, and the lights in our section turned off so we drank in semi darkness...a total rip off and letdown from how it used to be...avoid unless you have loads of money and a white stick...

In the heart of Notting Hill, on the main street of Porto Bello. A warm and tasteful place for your meal. We got the classic fish and chips dish. Tasty, filling but nothing special. The service very good. Of course the prices are proportional to the location and London in general.

Stumbled across the Duke of Wellington while exploring Nottingham hill , wow great pub , amazing vibe !!! Ordered drinks as there was no seats free outside we sat indoors , Dan the barman was very welcoming and friendly , about 10 mins in Dan approached us to tell us a table had become free and if we went out he would bring our drinks out , what a guy our friends from America couldn’t believe he went over and above to get us a seat outside !!! Well done great customer service

The atmosphere is great. Nice pub and many types of beer on tap. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. The burger was great, the fries were lukewarm and the chicken had a soggy crust

MOUSE!! We walked in for lunch and sat at a table. 5 minutes later I see a mouse at my feet!!!! The mouse ran back to the wall and we RAN out of there. Not sure if this is a usual thing to see in London but we will not be going back!

Great tasting food, huge portion size, quick service (less than 15min), and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got the fish and chips- and my god was it good. Normally I don’t do so well with battered fish but it didn’t feel heavy and I inhaled the whole thing before I knew it, triple cooked chips had the perfect crunch, curry and tartar sauce goes with everything and mushy peas. Will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic Sunday roast at the Duke of Wellington today,The food was great, the atmosphere was spot on, and Nina made the whole experience even better. She was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in at just the right times. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Nice looking pub and great location but had a strong smell of piss from the moment we stepped in. Tables were also a bit filthy.

Very good fish and chips with a fair price. There are several rooms with several atmospheres, ideal if you want to eat there. The staff was pleasant. However, we had some difficulty ordering via the QRcode

Kor) The store was clean and the food was really delicious! The staff are also friendly and give good testimonials. The food on the first line of the main menu is fish and chips. It's really crispy and the fish is soft... I ate it with the sauce that came with it and there was no bite. It was a bit big, but I ate it all. I think it tasted even better when I ate it with Guinness. Haha, everyone who comes to Portobello Market, please come by! It was an amazing experience with this pub. Server is kind and food is great. I ordered fish and chips and guiness and the fries were crispy and fish was soft and moist. The mood here is also good. RECOMMEND you to visit when you're at portobello market

I visited for Sunday lunch. It's a great Sunday roast restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere! I asked for a recommendation, so I tried it with pork, and they kindly told me how to eat it :)

A great drink stop while shopping along Portobello Road. We had G&Ts as the cask/craft beer options were slim.

I don't often review places but felt compelled on this occasion. The atmosphere in this pub is unparalleled. The staff are friendly, happy to engage with customers and make every effort to serve the customers as efficiently as they can. The food was quick, hot and an excellent standard. The selection of beers was welcomed and I enjoyed sampling a fair few! I will certainly be looking to come back on my next visit to London. Thank you!

Oh what a wonderful pub! The people that work here are real superstars, making me feel right at home - even bringing my cocktail to my table! What a delicious Bloody Mary it was to accompany an equally delicious Sunday Roast, I will 100% be back again for another excellent experience. 5 stars easy.

Nice pub close to Portobello market. They have nice beer and good food. We had the minestrone soup and the scorched egg with black pudding and it was both very delicious. Staff was very kind and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The music in the pub although was a bit not fitting to the vibe of the pub (modern pop tunes), but only a minor observation. Would definitely recommend to people looking for a nice drink and some yummy food when strolling through Portobello road.

Dropped by for a quick pint and so friendly came back later for something to eat. Tried the selection from their winter menu : great value. The scotch egg and minute steak combo was exceptional. Recommend if you’re in the area.

Our server Dan was attentive and present throughout the area. Lovely building and atmosphere. All I’d recommend is more of the sausage as mash as it was quite small for a main!

The food is incredibly good, the atmosphere pleasant and the value for money very balanced. We especially recommend the Sunday Roast. The only reason we don't give it five stars is the management of our reservation. We made a reservation for five people at 7:30 p.m., and upon arrival, our table was ready. However, the waitress rushed us to choose the food because the kitchen was about to close (understandably so). When we ordered roast beef, we were informed that you could only choose chicken, which we found disappointing. If there are availability restrictions depending on the time, they should indicate this at the time of booking or not take reservations. If you plan to visit this location, we recommend booking early to ensure all menu options are available. I'm attaching a photo of our plate, so you can see how good the food looks!

We stopped by just for just for a decent cocktail. I don't like waiting, however it a super busy Fridat night at "The Duke". But when Slavi served me I received my drinks promptly and error free. Furthermore, Slavi was professional and charming. Thank you Slavi and thank you "The Duke" for hiring such excellent team members.

The girl with beautiful golden locks (Sasha i think) recommended that we should have margaritas and i assure you that they were spectacular!

What a pub!! Came in here for Sunday lunch and safe to say it did not disappoint. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Should be renamed “Sasha, The Duchess of Wellington” because her service was fit for royalty!

Seated straight away by Daniel even in a packed pub! Food was delicious and high quality meat. We both had burgers (highly recommend). You can order via the QR code or with staff. Great lunch! Sasha is an attentive and efficient waitress

We wanted a cold beer and couldn't have chosen a better place. Excellent beers, well accompanied by a good portion of fries, and very friendly staff. Very characteristic inside as is typical for English pubs. It is also convenient to use the app to book comfortably from the table, especially if you don't know the language well.

Was so disappointed in this pub. I had the bangers & mash there 3 years ago & loved it. Went there yesterday & had the worst bangers & mash ever. Absolutely no flavour to the sausages or gravy. The other disappointment was the bathroom. It was filthy. There were 4 toilets & none of them had toilet paper, there was a couple of rolls on the wet floor. One toilet was missing the seat. The pub does have a good atmosphere & the staff were nice.

Daniel is by far the best bartender in London. Very cool. Took my buddy’s shitty English accent in stride. Will be back for sure!

We ordered a fish and chips to share. Correct potatoes with 3 batters: one with good sardines, another with dry and scarce cod and a third without fish and so hard that it could be used as a blunt object.
