The Duke in Windsor and Maidenhead

Visited the Duke last night for food with my family never been before so didn’t know what to expect. We were welcomed by lovely staff and seated in a really nice area of the pub near the fire. Ordered our food and wow! That’s all that needs to be said it was outstanding 10/10 will return thanks for making our evening so good.

We booked a table for 6 adults & our little 1 year old granddaughter, ahead of a visit to Windsor Great Park to see the Christmas illuminations. The staff are very friendly, the pub has a cosy comfy feel to it, and the roast dinners were extremely tasty & cooked to a high standard, we would highly recommend a visit.

It's a great place. Always kind and friendly, good service, good food, and a lovely outdoor space. Would certainly recommend for families, friends or couples.

I’ve visited this pub a few times over the last few months and have to say I can’t find a fault with it! The food is amazing and the range of wines and beers are top notch… the staff are so friendly. I took my mother there for lunch and the young lady was so attentive… think her name was Ella? She looked after my mum so well so thanks to the manager and her

Visited for a drink with my family. The girl behind the bar seemed oblivious to women (or maybe just me???). She looked straight at me then went to serve a man who came up to the bar after me. Gave me the wrong drinks but by the time I’d noticed it was too late as we’d sipped them. Second time up to the bar I was ignored again so a man served me and the girl just shoved the payment machine in my direction, no please/thank you /smile etc. Really odd service as usually the landlord and staff are so nice. She was very attentive to a group of young lads, laughing and smiling, just a pity she seemed so rude to me. I could have done with a friendly face that night.
