Great spot for a fully cooked Scottish breakfast food was 10/10 really enjoyed, atmosphere was slightly on the older side but made no difference to us (in 20s)

I had an excellent g/f steak pie and mash. The veg was so fresh, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch as did my husband who had the regular steak pie and chips.

We have visited Crieff regularly and this is the first time we have eaten here. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant offers a true Scottish Breakfast which is a rareity in many Scottish towns. Food was great and served promptly. Only niggle was the quality of the link sausage! Will definitely return here for the full 10 piece breakfast. My wife and son both enjoyed the 5 piece Scottish breakfasts. Afterwards we browsed the Crieff Visitors centre then Caithness Glass next door

We just happened upon Drovers near Crieff, Scotland. Quiet place were family could talk and share about our family heritage. The food was a hit for all ages in the family: steak pie, steaks, hamburgers, plus Mac and cheese. The service was excellent - friendly and pleasant. Would love to go back

A remarkably good restaurant for such a type of place. Menu changes with the season, but is always fresh. I had the steak and haggis pie - a lovely puff pastry pocket with a layer of haggis and large chunks of succulent beef in a wonderful gravy. Unfortunately, the veg were totally tasteless, but I’ll forgive them that for the excellent quality of the pie. Coffee was also good.

Came here with my mum when we were visiting the Caithness Glass Factory and just made it in time for the 11.30 curfew for the breakfast. You can choose from a small, medium or large and you choose what you want in it. Also do haggis which is not available everywhere and just completes a cooked breakfast in my opinion. A bit dearer than our usual breakfasts in Lanarkshire but thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice and clean with plenty on offer and a fast and friendly service.

Popped in at 11.30 on a quiet Monday. Fancied a bacon roll ( i could smell the bacon). Nope, couldn’t get one - breakfast stopped at 11.30. Absolutely ridiculous. In this day and age surely we should treat customers a bit better

This venue is literally like entering a time warp. The architecture and design is like stepping back to the early 1970's and modernisation has been avoided over the years. The loos were spotlessly clean and door knobs reflect Caithness Glass output from yesteryear. All the staff were very helpful, positive and trying hard to accommodate foreign tourists with their lunch requirements. Sandwiches were freshly prepared and well filled. Steak Pie appears very popular and this venue attracts mainly passing tourists. Saw little evidence of indigenous Scots eating lunch. We enjoyed our lunch and free car parking in a large car park outside was a big draw over the town centre. Management was active and we will return. Coffee is also recommended.

Very good choice on menu from full meals to lighter bites such as baked potatoes, toasties, paninis and soup. Great selection of cakes for that wee treat as well! Very spacious seating area, don't feel packed in at all or rushed. Attached gift shop and garden centre is well worth a look too. Staff professional and friendly.

Lovely place for a comfort stop, a visit to where you find a timeline of the area and how the “Drove” roads came about where they started and end up at a market. There is a gift shop for those who like shops. The restaurant is where you can get just a tea or coffee or a meal from wholesome product.

Not long arrived, stopping off for lunch on our way to Aberfeldy we were disappointed to be told that there was no steak and haggis pie left, appreciate that they have been busy with a number of coaches today. The best bit was not the cold soup but being directed to the microwave, strategically placed in the middle of the restaurant, to heat it up himself, that got my husband’s ire up. Concluded that they are in the habit of serving cold soup! Mac Cheese and gammon were lovely.

This large restaurant/cafe manages to offer really good food at decent prices. At this time of year, the Xmas special meal is thick slices of really good, tasty, moist turkey, served with all trimmings. The veg even have some texture to them.

We stopped here after visiting Cultybraggan Camp. It is just on the outskirts of Crieff and has plenty of parking with a simple walk to the restaurant. It is self service and for hot meals self order. When we arrived there was along queue for service but the waiting did not take long with everyone served very efficiently. The food was excellent with good portions and it has a really nice ambience, all very enjoyable.

We always stop here, to break a long journey but, saying that, if we were staying nearer we would be in more often. You will find The Drover's Restaurant at the Chieff Visitor Centre, which is well marked.Take advantage of the Loyalty Card Scheme there because you can get reward points with your purchases in the restaurant and other places on-site. Other offers are available, apart from points. The food is, I suppose, typical Scottish fare - there is a varied menu to choose from. Depending on what time of the day we arrive, some visits sees us we eating more than other times. There is an outdoor seating area for nice days. Staff are always friendly but whoever is in charge of staffing numbers would do well to take on a few extra because the girls/woman work their socks off ... as do the kitchen staff, I dare say.

It's been a few years since we were last here and decided to pop in for something to eat mid afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant feels like it's trying to move away from the cafeteria tag it has and is doing that successfully but still has some way to go.However we were really impressed with the quality of the food we ordered. John had ordered gammon steak and neither of us could remember the last time that gammon he'd had in a restaurant hadn't been the processed thin slice of gammon but this was a beautiful deep and thick cut and the presentation was great and it was piping hot upon arrival. I had a chicken salad and the portions were huge, well done to the chefs/cooks.The staff were all friendly and very helpful but there is still that feeling of being in a fast food place and that is something that their cooked meals are not as they are made up of fresh ingredients and cooked to order!

A group of us stopped here for a meal in the summer. Although busy, we were served quickly and with a smile! The food was good too. If you are passing this way, do try it. We have been lucky enough to have had half a dozen stops here this year - we call in as we go to and from a holiday destination. Whilst visiting the Restaurant, there is lots more to occupy you on this site - Visitor Centre & Gift Shop; Drovers' Museum; Antiques Corner; Caithness Glass; Buchan Pottery; Garden Centre; plus a couple of other places. There is wheelchair access to everywhere and plenty of parking. This is a footpath off the car park which you can use to stretch your legs and that of your canine, if you have one.We always enjoy the Restaurant - its menu is varied and very reasonable. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. We feel our holiday really starts once we sit down in the Drovers. We took advantage a while back of getting one of the Centre's loyalty cards - you get points in several places on site and they all add up and then you can have the money taken off a purchase there ... every little helps.

We have been lucky enough to make it up to Perthshire three times this year and, each time, we make sure we stop at the 'Drovers' Restaurant' at the Crieff Visitor Centre. Locals and visitors alike appear to think the same. There is a loyalty card at the Centre .... points to be gained in the shop, restaurant and garden centre on-site. Even though we are only visiting a few times a year, we have found it well worth having a card.We always make a point of visiting the adjacent Visitor Centre shop plus the small antiques/art area and Caithness Glass section which is opposite the entrance. When we stop at 'The Drover's Restaurant', it is en route north or south and it is a great stop for us whilst on a long journey (living in Essex). That said, it is obvious that the restaurant enjoys a good local clientele-base. The food is very reasonable; the environment is light & open; and we have always found the staff friendly. The Restaurant is within the Crieff Visitor Centre site .... the Centre offers a Customer Loyalty Scheme and we have found this very beneficial and we are not visiting that often. You earn points every time you spend in the Shop, Restaurant or Garden Centre - and they can be redeemed in the same places or exchanged for Gift Vouchers.

We have often stopped here, en route further north. They do two sizes of the 'Drover's Big Scottish Breakfast' which we thoroughly recommend. We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. They appear to have a good, regular customer base of locals (always a good sign) but then they probably have other people like us who can always guarantee an enjoyable visit whenever they are in the area. They do hearty breakfasts until 11.30a.m. and good lunches after that like Haddock and Chips & Chef’s special Steak Pie. Then there are snacks like sandwiches, Panini’s & soup plus Scottish afternoon teas. There has always been a good selection of cakes to go with coffees and teas etc :-), if that's all someone is after. The restaurant is inside the Crieff Visitor Centre, which is signed on the A822 - on the southern side of the town of Crieff itself. Access is level, which is good for wheelchair users and anyone with mobility issues. The restaurant area is very roomy. There are toilets on-site (with lovely 'Caithness Glass' door handles!). There is a large car park and they welcome coaches (they they recommend booking with the latter).

Almost 5 pounds for a cappuccino for which no order has been taken at first, for which you then have to wait more than 20 minutes, with a spoon and sugar missing and, as a highlight, a 10% service fee appears on the bill? As beautiful as it is in Gleneagles - unfortunately we didn't like it at all...

We were enjoying a nice drink in the beer garden one sunny afternoon, when a youth started shouting & swearing at us because we were English (which was funny in itself because none of us are 100% English). The locals were appalled at his behaviour & the landlord immediately ejected him, however, it cast a shadow on our visit.

Went for lunch yesterday with my parents and dog on arrival our table was clearly marked ours and there was already a bowl of water awaiting my dog I thought this was super sweet and thoughtful, the waitress we had was brilliant with my wee Jack Russell she gave him a few biscuits and attention he loved it. Service was quick and the food as always was delicious. Lovely warm welcoming place to eat out and we always choose here when we go for lunch. Great menu lots of choice.

I give up, I really do. Have stopped using the restaurant because the food is pretty poor and the staff are surly at best. This morning I wanted to purchase a food item which they have stocked for years. First young girl I asked couldn't understand what I was asking for, second one said they didn't stock it although she has served me in the past and the third one said it had sold out but they might be getting some in in a couple of weeks. Several other local people have mentioned how rude the staff were. Hospitable is not a word you can use for this place and yet years ago it used to be good on all counts.
