Great curry as ever and good choice of beers.

All wetherspoon, s are great always a place of good security and good company especially drapers at my home town of Peterborough land of sugar and perkins diesel engines,.

OMG!!!!! They have changed the has browns on the breakfast to gluten free shizzle YUK other stuff has stayed the same please change back to the normal one don't know what's happening to this place thought give it another go on the breakfast all for research of course hash browns still crap BUT THE BEANS or lack of them had to count them didn't take long 41 pathetic effort stone cold as well so on average a tin of beans has 415 in a tin so 10per cent of a tin not good wetherspoons ....

Beer (real ale) is always brilliant and well priced. However, the steak night tonight was a shocker - dry and luke warm food. Drink here but eat elsewhere

Probably the best wetherspoon's I've been in.

Was originally planning to go to the College Arms but came across this one first, & feeling hungry ventured in here instead. Glad I did as I was met by a very impressive range of real ales (apparently the College Arms specializes in spirits instead). Tried the new Korean sticky chicken - no complaints. THOROUGHLY recommended if you're into your real ales.

Came here for a drink only as wife's colleague celebrating birthday. No food. Not changed much since I came here with former colleagues in early noughties. Functional yes. May return to have a meal

It is a decent pub but would not recommend if you want a more upperclass evening out. Beer is usually quite nice but the food is definitely lacking. Service and attitude could be better.

Lovely Wetherspoons, just a 5 minute walk from the train station.

It always seems dirty, it needs someone to look after tables and pick rubbish up off the floor, wouldn't eat there .

Not visited in years, Always forget it's there as not central town. Wasn't disappointed amazing food & amazing value for money. Will definitely be coming in more often for a breakfast.

Another Wetherspoons fail on Steak Night. Unfortunately, full of gristle. The lager went flat instantly, no life what so ever in it. It is a very busy pub, so obviously popular but lacks attention to detail to make it stand out.

Very busy city centre Wetherspoons but even on a Saturday evening I wasn't left waiting for long to be served. There was a good range of beers available (10) all of exceptional quality well deserving of their longstanding place in the good beer guide

Went for drinks for a friend's birthday. Plenty of room for groups. Lots of dishes on the menu, often have the managers special dish of the day. Excellent value for money

Busy city centre pub with range of well priced real ales.

Nice enough pub, appears pretty clean, great selection of drinks, the family come here on a regular, the wife and I come very rarely just to meet them, not really our scene, very busy and very loud, but what do you expect on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Didn't use the restrooms so can't comment on those, punters not observant nor the staff, to actually let the person who was next to be served, no fault to the team members as it was very busy, but the general public lacking in common curtesy. Overall, it is just a typical pub, but personally, we would rather come here than collage arms. Nice to see people enjoying themselves and being busy.

We sat outside in the beer garden. Had a lovely steak. Unbelievable value for money. I had Steak with chips, onion rings and coleslaw and my missus had chicken burger with salad. Both got a large glass of wine and it came to less than 26 quid. The steak was better than the one I had in the Cuckoo the night before for less than half the price.

Portions could do with being a little bigger for an adult

Crowded but bar staff are fast, great prices food acceptable for the cost, great buzz in the bar.T he only thing is the disabled toilet downstairs is just awful, dirty smelly and always a wet floor with usually very little or no toilet roll. Toilet upstairs a little better.

It's a spoons, drink prices are great, food is good enough, and there are plenty of choices from behind the bar. It is located in the centre of Peterborough, not far from shops, car parks, bus and train station, so easy to get to after a few hours shopping.

Well, I was disappointed, to be honest, the bar manager was not paying attention. And why work in the service industry if you haven't a clue how to be nice to your service users . Staff were on a go slow . Food ok. Ale cared for correctly is all I can say really

Didn't have food but a very nice spoons pub

Fish and chips was nice. Hit fish but the baked beans and chips were cold. The services were just ok with the young ladies and lad not quite acquainted with the system. The tables needed to be cleaned quickly for the high turnover. I think the Wetherspoon at Broadway street is much better with friendlier staff

Its ok as was waiting for bus.but not welcoming by staff who only wanted to serve regulars. I was in 12.30 to 13.30 on weekday

Had fish and chips, fish lovely, chips rubbish. What has happened to our national dish awful. Extremely good value, 2 meals and drinks around £25.

Food was good but unenjoyable thou as there was other food waste on other tables that wasnt cleared and was there for 2hours and not a single table near me was cleared and cleaned. To the point where customers had to clear tables and put it on another table to get a table. No help from staff alot all.

Lovely food as usual, but took over an hour for empty tables to be cleared of empty plates, to the point where people were moving dirty plates to another table so they could sit in a group and order food. Server lent over people eating to put food down when he should have walked around to put the food down politely to other people. Seemed like it was understaffed. Disabled toilets have an unpleasant aroma.

Have been coming to the Drapers Arms, a few times every year for the last 5 years to meet an old mate from the police service when i was a little younger and thinner😂 The Drapers Arms is a bustling city pub, with a cool vibe.It's nice and traditional inside with lots of wood, a fireplace, beer garden, and upper outside decking area. I have had lots of different dishes from the menu, steak & ale pie & chips, mixed grill, burger & chips etc all fantastic food😊 There's a massive drink selection and the doom bar in particular is amazing! If you like good food, good drink at good prices, people watching & the hustle & bustle of a city pub, this is the pub for you😊

The usual Spoons experience! Sticky tables and carpets, but you know exactly what you're getting when you order. Food & drinks arrived quickly. Tasted decent enough!

A rare gem in the center that now has few pubs to visit or any attractions worth visiting with many places closed down. Quality breakfast had the American pancakes with maple syrup. Dad had large breakfast enjoyed it. Price of Worthington’s appears to have increased by 50 pence since last visit to around £2. Cost around £16 for 2 breakfasts one refill tea and pint. One of the very few places in the City actually worth visiting with friendly staff and cheap prices.

I visited for breakfast. They were understaffed so were behind clearing tables and the place has suffered some damage from a weekend of drinking my server told me. The staff however were cheerful and chatty, the good came quickly and was exactly what you'd expect from Spoons. It got busy and noisy with drinkers before I left at 10:30am.

Love the fact that they have a delicious plum porter on tap, which we prefer to what we class as the mediocre pale offerings.

Lovely and welcoming place. Decent place for a Sunday family dinner.

Typical 'spoons pub, busy, silly-small prices for the beers, this one having 10 ales on handpump, the two we tried both being well served. Amazing selection of food too, all coming with a drink and again at silly-small prices. Only gripe would be that the food wasn't of the highest quality, but it was hot and filled a gap - you gets what you pays for I suppose, but I've had better at other JDWs.

Great place for a quick and nice cheap meal. Staff friendly and polite.

Went into Peterborough to do a bit of shopping at the Queensgate Shopping centre. Decided to warm up for the day with a spot of breakfast at The Drapers. Pleasantly surprised by the general ambience of the pub, even at 8am. Clean, tidy, and comfortable. Now for the food… As Wetherspoons veterans (in excess of 100) Traditional breakfasts are usually our choice for a morning feed. That day was to be no different. We grabbed a couple of coffees and waited for the feast to arrive… A cheerful looking soul delivered our order. A mere whippersnapper, he couldn’t have been much out of sixth form, or college, or bed. He was chirpy enough and left us to sample the goods on offer. And those goods looked good. Which was good. The request for fried eggs to be swapped for poached was accepted without a squabble. They arrived hard boiled, but hey ho. The bacon was cooked and hot, with the sausage similarly acceptable. The toast was lightly tanned but almost warm. The butter was harder than a crocodile in a bit of a mood. The baked beans were like my mother-in-law. Very thick skinned indeed. And tasteless. In short, the meat was good and everything else on the plate was largely secondary and forgotten about in the preparation. A shame really, because it looked delicious and turned out to be just average.

It's a spoons like any other, but comparatively you get more than what you pay for. The beer in spoons tends to be better than any other pub because they pour plenty of it. The selection of ales trumps almost all other pubs. And the food is always consistent. It costs me little more to buy four pints in spoons than it does in my local shop. Cannot fault their business model hence why it works.

The front of house and restaurant is immaculate and clean, the staff are friendly and polite and the food was good, the only disappointment was the toilets 🚻 🤢 the smell of urine is absolutely disgusting in them and there filthy..!! those toilets could do with a deep clean..!! To get rid of the smell

Not a great visit. Quite busy, very noisy, the food was just about OK but two of my group had soup and there was only just half a bowl, usually there is a bit more. In addition the men's toilets were terrible with the smell being very very strong. Will not be coming back.

While very much your typical spoons, this place stands out as deserving a positive review. I have been to a lot of Wetherspoons and can honestly say I’ve never seen a staff team work so hard and so efficiently. They were working their socks off, clearing tables, bringing food out quickly and even offering fresh glasses without being asked. Well done to the entire team and their manager.

Compared to the college arms this is like fantasy Island a lot better atmosphere staff are pleasant and helpful better selection of real ales perhaps they should send some of the staff from the college arms here to learn how it is done a special mention to the chap who was wiping the the tables down he could not help us enough and he helped kept the pub moving and had excellent customer service skills

I’ve experienced being discriminated against because when in recovery from a fractured knee and leg was refused service as the manager said as I walked with a limp I must be drunk, which resulted in no service. Disgusting behaviour!!!

Very dated but its like all spoons.

If I could leave a zero star. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at this bar and will not be going back again. It was my hen do and we decided to take our last part of it to drapers. We order a round of drinks and as you would did a Mr and mrs game. 1 member of staff decided that we was too drunk to be served alcohol due to the fact that I was unable to walk properly. Do due to a knee injury I had even though other members of staff was happy to serve us until he disagreed. Ruined my night and will be taking the matter further as I felt humiliated being belittled due to my knee injury!

Went to watch pompey play Peterborough this is the first pub we came across and to be fare it was better then your normal spoons which was rather nice,it was always going to be busy cause it was a big game ,thought the starf done really well under all the pressure, was a really nice pub ,we came back after the game so must of been good 👍

It is what it is a witherspoon. A tad smelly from food and carpet was sticky. Having said that the wine was a great price and we were only having one drink while waiting for a taxi.

Just had the heat wave chicken burger with a Budweiser. Good price burger including American hash brown and chicken piece with chips and onion rings. Polite and friendly service and quick considering how busy it was on Friday.

I visited several of the nation's Weatherspoon restaurant chains. Everywhere they are, the menu is similar. Over the years, I have visited this restaurant multiple times. most often over the weekend with friends. An affordable option for getting together with friends for a quick bite. Depending on the time of day and the events taking place in the city centre, it can get quite busy. Most of the Weatherspoon restaurants are linked to the history of the area. Similarly, for this branch. The structure was constructed in 1899 specifically for milliner and draper Charles Armstrong. Armstrong spent nearly a century trading at this address. Charles Armstrong, who relocated his firm from New Road, occupied a portion of the new structure.

Dreary sort of pub, but always busy. Looks unkept. Stairs to toilets very narrow. Usual Weatherspoons menu. Unlimited tea & coffee.

Food was ok but my burger loving kids refused their burgers as they smelt funny (what they said) service wasn't great at the tills but think I had an inexperienced potwash dude or something like that as it took like 10min to take our order (table of 5) rest of the food was good and value for money

Just as you would expect at a Wetherspoons, great value food n drinks, food could have been a little warmer tho.
