Costa coffee in Peterborough

This is one shop that shuts before the time advertised... its absolutely appalling.. Greg's keep to their open and close times not this shop .. They are close 5 minutes beofre 7pm but it advertised 7pm close time ... that 5minutes could have made money off a few customers they're quickly cleaning the shop and customer can't be reassure of their timea joke shop

Sandys energy is infectious! Absolutely fantastic, a true pleasure to be near. If you're having a bad day like I was, Sandys singing will surely put a smile on your face. Really refreshing to see someone who enjoys their job and clearly does it well. My favourite Costa location will be wherever he is, true asset to the company.

Not very pushchair friendly, there was then no seats downstairs available and no lift. Ended up going to Marks & Spencer’s cafe instead

It's a Costa. Upstairs seating is a nice touch, but otherwise just a standard Costa.

Great staff, good coffee and iced tea. Nice atmosphere and clean and pleasant place to be now it has been decorated.

Nice light airy feel to this Costa. Plenty room for our pram too! Drinks delicious and quickly served. Perfect post shopping treat!

I visited Costa to meet a friend for coffee and was absolutely disgusted at the dirt and dust that was around. It was the most unhygienic coffee shop I have ever visited. I have taken pictures for you all to see and hope that I ever visit again there will be a noticeable difference. This establishment needs a deep clean!

Our orders were tasty.. Just unfortunate that the staff was busier chatting than actually making our drinks.. It resulted in an unnecessarily long waiting time..

Staff doesn't know what customer service is. Was laughing at a mentally challenged lady.

This Costa has friendly staff and would be lovely inside if it was clean. I go here regularly and it looks like it's never been cleaned! On a positive note, good coffee and good cake!

Ignorant young man behind the counter, no smile (appreciating he was busy) no cups for our coffee as was sitting in, asked to have the medium coffees in a large cup if he had run out of the medium ‘no I’ll need them later’ no clean tables - rarely stop for a coffee so this was a ‘little treat’ will not be coming back!!

Cold, needs heating, both doors wide open, lots of people queuing, understaffed, weak latte...worst I have Ever tasted! Dirty table, miserable staff, rude barista!

Myself and my partner are regular customers of this costa in Hampton and have always received nothing but top service but unfortunately today I had a young man named jack who was making our coffee and I asked the lady to only put one shot of coffee in my iced cappuccino, when the lady asked jack to make sure it was only one shot his response was “why couldn’t they say this before” and then proceeded to pour both shots of coffee away with attitude and slamming the cup down on the side of the coffee machine. When my partner said I’m sorry but I forgot to say about the one shot he couldn’t look at my partner as she was saying this and completely ignored her whilst mumbling under his breath. I don’t think this young boy should be in hospitality if he cannot control his attitude or his smarmy comments about customers!!! This is not acceptable

I've just got to say a huge thank you again, to the staff in Costa, Serpentine Green, regarding my grandson's nut allergy. Lauren was absolutely phenomenal today. My grandson has the same toasted sandwich each week, when we go in, as we know that he is ok with this. Lauren saw him looking at another item and without any hesitation, took it upon herself to go through all sandwiches/wraps etc, in the allergens book, to check if he could eat anything else. She then came and found us, sat down and explained what she had found out. I'm really impressed with Lauren, Tyler and all the staff of Costa, Serpentine Green, for their customer service and care. Thank you for everything!!

It's a nice place for a coffee, you get the classic Costa quality though the seating and layout isn't wonderful. The queue often stacks up by the door and that's not because it's a big queue, it's because it's 7ft from the door. Seating is also limited and a little cramped. A few of the lights need replacing. Good coffee though, sometimes worth a drop in though there are better Costas to consider in the area.

I travel around with work and am often in Costa coffee due to loving the coffee and jumping on the WIFI to do my work. I must say that at the serpentine green shopping centre, the large Costa has an upstairs which is nice and quiet to work plus the fantastic staff that always make you feel welcome. From remembering my last order to having a general chat about life gives you a real sense of calm... Even though they can be busy - they still remain professional and courteous.

It's ok, but...THE DUST!!! I'm sure that a cool industrial look with high exposed light fittings and electrical gantries was a great idea at first, but they are covered in dust! You can see it piled on top of the features and a small disturbance in the air causes your mocca topping the be dusty rather than cinnamon-y. Awkward! I mean I get why they aren't cleaned, the fittings are like 10 feet in the air and tricky for the average barista to reach with a feather duster, but maybe some specially trained squirrels could be employed (using their bushy tails to achieve the cleaning), but again I can see the problem, I mean, it would be tricky for said squirrels to then operate the milk frother as they've only got little arms and paws and there would be a serious risk of scalding.... A health and safety nightmare, am I right?! So, the upshot, Costa, is dust your bloody light fittings and take a closer look at your animal welfare policies.

Costa in Next Very disappointing ! Staff not very welcoming and don't care about customer service. Other places much better atmosphere and the staff are happy to serve. 1

These 3 girls were great - friendly, welcoming and efficient- the coffee was pretty good too 😉. Loved the seasonal bakewell tarts and mince pies with a twist.

Costa second to Nero in my opinion

Normal level of service, food and drink for a Costa. Very few vegan options, good they have oat milk but the hot water used to make the tea simply isn't hot enough. Distinctly average.

This is my regular coffee shop, and even better value now they have the 50% eat in discount. Great coffee and service. And I love the whiskey smell of the hand sanitiser.

I’m a wheelchair user and the staff are always so efficient in providing assistance. They always have someone help me carry my tray to my table without me having to ask. Due to COVID 19 there was less seating available however the kept a table for me whilst I was waiting for my order. Lovely people

It's a standard Costa my only negative was they got my drink wrong but replaced in a takeaway cup.

On the lead up to Christmas, Costa this morning was queued out the door! All staff were in good spirits and working well as a team! Breakfast and coffee was yummy as always!

Love this place. Serves either hot or cold drinks. The cold drinks are excellent for a very hot day. Very refreshing.

Regular Costa customer but not always at Serpentine Green. Service was good and the coffee and egg and mushroom muffin were up to normal standards bit the cinnamon bun was hard and dry. Unfortunately as it was a take away I didn't discover this until I was southbound on the A1 so too late to do anything about it. Hopefully this was a one off but might encourage me to go to a different location next time.

I was disappointed to see a vegetarian and non vegetarian sandwich being grilled together. Thankfully it wasn't an issue for us but people need some reassurance that there are separate grills for vegetarian sandwiches. The same lady was dealing with the till and cooking food without using gloves so I wasn't really happy about that, but the sandwich and coffee tasted nice

Ordered 4 drinks and after sitting down realised we had been charged for 5. Returned to the counter for a refund, the manager then questioned me, said I was wrong because she could only see 4 drinks. I pointed out we had 2 of the same (so did someone else who worked there). She didn’t acknowledge it or apologise. I got the refund, but the customer service was terrible. Not a single smile from the manager

We decided to pop in for a coffee and take advantage of Costa's complimentary Newspaper and WIFI. Asked about newspaper (as have done many times before) and told 'there is nowhere nearby to purchase one' ?? Tesco next door. Also couldn't connect to their WIFI very slow. Won't bother going there again. Very poor customer service need to smarten up.

Costa.... cost-a-lot as people say. For the quality of coffee I won't be attending again. My normal choice is cafe nero. Costa service is slow n not really very friendy, plus the general cleanliness could be improved alot. Maybe I came on a bad day n we all have them. Hut the quality n taste of coffee, in my opinion, is awful for the price.

Very dissaponting, orange and cream Christmas latte :) was really looking forward to it at the end of a shopping trip, only thing resembling orange was the dried fruit slice on the top, that was it, no taste of orange syrup and my husband gingerbread latte was just as bad and to add insult to injury you can't have a large now just a medium for the same price as a large, costa are getting too big for their boots and need to start worrying about their customers instead of their pockets

First time i visited this branch it was busy for the time of morning we were there but it's big enough not to fill to packed. We really enjoyed getting out for a coffee just me and my wife. We felt we could unwind with our drinks. The staff were both really friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this branch

Yes another Costa in the 'boro and no shopping centre is complete without one. There is also a Costa in Next so you can take you pick if one is busy. There’s also a drive through Costa just down the road too - so you can take your pick! This is the place to come for every permutation of coffee you can think of, with a good selection of lunch and light snacks and of course some tasty sweets.

Ask for your coffee order your coffee and then they decide to have a chat while just you just stand there like a lemon and then I forget you sprinkles on coffee will stick to my home Costa Coffee Barkingside don't even have to ask for what you want in there cos I know
