Costa coffee in Peterborough

Delivery driver had caused my peach iced tea to spill everywhere downing my brownie and causing it to leak through the bag so spilt all over my house

Costa is costa where ever you go but the service here was above and beyond. They were so friendly and happy it really brightened up my day.

Served by Sandy today what a great guy! Friendly, polite and went the extra mile with every customer. I hope he’s on a fast track as he should have a very bright future with the company.

A lovely spacious Costa with outside, inside ground and inside first floor seating. The first floor is access by steps only. We called in on a lunchtime, there were plenty of spare tables but very few were clean or clear of trays. The young waitress who cleared our table took away the tray but failed to even attempt to wipe the table. We had two of their flavoured Frappes, they tasted good. The toilets were shocking, one door constantly locked and I was told to use the disabled. Inside there was a missing toilet seat and the emergency unit which should be screwed to the wall was sellotaped. On leaving the toilet a lady went to enter, I advised her of the missing toilet seat and she replied “still, it’s been like that for weeks”.

Popped in for a coffee (obviously, I mean it is Costa) and was served by Lauren and Libby. They are both awesome. Great with customers and really welcoming, Serious asset to the company. Thank you both.

I always love to pick up a coffee before I do my shop and the staff here are simply the best. Especially Lauren and Libby. They are always welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They are a delight.

This is not the first time my order has missing items. Maybe your drivers should check orders before leaving store. Once again I have no food for lunch.

don’t come here often but came on a bank holiday Monday. There were not enough staff to serve the queue of customers. Only 2 members..I was waiting 20 minutes for my drink. The girl behind the counter starts making a large Uber eats drink order....I ordered a peach ice tea, and I couldn’t taste any peach so my mum asks for some more syrup and the lady says “it’s already had 4 pumps and if you want more it’ll be 50p” it definitely has LESS than 4 pumps in as I watched the man make it. And my mum says “my daughter had been waiting 20 mins already” and the lady just says “bless you” Poor service and I went to Starbucks and ordered the same drink and it was much BETTER and I got better service there and better tasting drink I don’t understand why the manager wouldn’t schedule more people to work on a bank holiday..even if it’s not massively busy, retail can be unpredictable but it’s best to have more people rather than less people.

This is one shop that shuts before the time advertised... its absolutely appalling.. Greg's keep to their open and close times not this shop .. They are close 5 minutes beofre 7pm but it advertised 7pm close time ... that 5minutes could have made money off a few customers they're quickly cleaning the shop and customer can't be reassure of their timea joke shop

Sandys energy is infectious! Absolutely fantastic, a true pleasure to be near. If you're having a bad day like I was, Sandys singing will surely put a smile on your face. Really refreshing to see someone who enjoys their job and clearly does it well. My favourite Costa location will be wherever he is, true asset to the company.

Coffee was barely warm and driver barley speaks English.

Not very pushchair friendly, there was then no seats downstairs available and no lift. Ended up going to Marks & Spencer’s cafe instead

Poor the 2 hot drinks were cold and the toasty was hard. Waste of money.

The latte was fine but my croissant tasted like it hadn’t been cooked. The pastry should have been crisp and flaky. Was not happy

The drink and cakes were really nice and everything was perfect temperature but the toasty was a little dry which made it really chewy

It's a Costa. Upstairs seating is a nice touch, but otherwise just a standard Costa.

Instead of cancelling the order or contacting to make changes they just put a note on the receipt to request a refund because the food was out of stock. Ordered during my lunch break so I could have something to eat would’ve rather they cancelled the order so I could order something else rather than wait for no food to turn up!

Great staff, good coffee and iced tea. Nice atmosphere and clean and pleasant place to be now it has been decorated.

Nice light airy feel to this Costa. Plenty room for our pram too! Drinks delicious and quickly served. Perfect post shopping treat!

I visited Costa to meet a friend for coffee and was absolutely disgusted at the dirt and dust that was around. It was the most unhygienic coffee shop I have ever visited. I have taken pictures for you all to see and hope that I ever visit again there will be a noticeable difference. This establishment needs a deep clean!

Our orders were tasty.. Just unfortunate that the staff was busier chatting than actually making our drinks.. It resulted in an unnecessarily long waiting time..

Staff doesn't know what customer service is. Was laughing at a mentally challenged lady.

This Costa has friendly staff and would be lovely inside if it was clean. I go here regularly and it looks like it's never been cleaned! On a positive note, good coffee and good cake!

Delivery driver tried to deliver to the back of the building despite the address stating Keeton Road. Multiple messages eventually for them to deliver to the right place. Iced drinks were packed in with hot drinks which meant the drinks were not the best when they arrived.

Ignorant young man behind the counter, no smile (appreciating he was busy) no cups for our coffee as was sitting in, asked to have the medium coffees in a large cup if he had run out of the medium ‘no I’ll need them later’ no clean tables - rarely stop for a coffee so this was a ‘little treat’ will not be coming back!!

2 orders are wrong. We did not receive the hot chocolate And the latte does not have the correct milk or gingerbread shot in. For the price we have paid this is not good. When arrived none of the cups marked to show what we had.

Cold, needs heating, both doors wide open, lots of people queuing, understaffed, weak latte...worst I have Ever tasted! Dirty table, miserable staff, rude barista!

Myself and my partner are regular customers of this costa in Hampton and have always received nothing but top service but unfortunately today I had a young man named jack who was making our coffee and I asked the lady to only put one shot of coffee in my iced cappuccino, when the lady asked jack to make sure it was only one shot his response was “why couldn’t they say this before” and then proceeded to pour both shots of coffee away with attitude and slamming the cup down on the side of the coffee machine. When my partner said I’m sorry but I forgot to say about the one shot he couldn’t look at my partner as she was saying this and completely ignored her whilst mumbling under his breath. I don’t think this young boy should be in hospitality if he cannot control his attitude or his smarmy comments about customers!!! This is not acceptable

I've just got to say a huge thank you again, to the staff in Costa, Serpentine Green, regarding my grandson's nut allergy. Lauren was absolutely phenomenal today. My grandson has the same toasted sandwich each week, when we go in, as we know that he is ok with this. Lauren saw him looking at another item and without any hesitation, took it upon herself to go through all sandwiches/wraps etc, in the allergens book, to check if he could eat anything else. She then came and found us, sat down and explained what she had found out. I'm really impressed with Lauren, Tyler and all the staff of Costa, Serpentine Green, for their customer service and care. Thank you for everything!!

I ordered an ice coffee and it came completely empty the bag was soaking wet so it must have spelt on the way to my house

Half the items wrong or missing

It's a nice place for a coffee, you get the classic Costa quality though the seating and layout isn't wonderful. The queue often stacks up by the door and that's not because it's a big queue, it's because it's 7ft from the door. Seating is also limited and a little cramped. A few of the lights need replacing. Good coffee though, sometimes worth a drop in though there are better Costas to consider in the area.

That was the worst toastie I have ever had. Tasted like cardboard, like someone made it ages ago.

The coffee was average but what I really am concerned about is the fact I grazed my finger on the staplers and it's actually quite sore. Won't be ordering from Costa again

I travel around with work and am often in Costa coffee due to loving the coffee and jumping on the WIFI to do my work. I must say that at the serpentine green shopping centre, the large Costa has an upstairs which is nice and quiet to work plus the fantastic staff that always make you feel welcome. From remembering my last order to having a general chat about life gives you a real sense of calm... Even though they can be busy - they still remain professional and courteous.

It's ok, but...THE DUST!!! I'm sure that a cool industrial look with high exposed light fittings and electrical gantries was a great idea at first, but they are covered in dust! You can see it piled on top of the features and a small disturbance in the air causes your mocca topping the be dusty rather than cinnamon-y. Awkward! I mean I get why they aren't cleaned, the fittings are like 10 feet in the air and tricky for the average barista to reach with a feather duster, but maybe some specially trained squirrels could be employed (using their bushy tails to achieve the cleaning), but again I can see the problem, I mean, it would be tricky for said squirrels to then operate the milk frother as they've only got little arms and paws and there would be a serious risk of scalding.... A health and safety nightmare, am I right?! So, the upshot, Costa, is dust your bloody light fittings and take a closer look at your animal welfare policies.

Why was my order marked as delivered yet never received?

Costa in Next Very disappointing ! Staff not very welcoming and don't care about customer service. Other places much better atmosphere and the staff are happy to serve. 1

My after eight chocolate started to melt as it was on top of my drink, I think it should of gone in the bag with the short bread cakes. Other than that everything is correct and it was on time.

These 3 girls were great - friendly, welcoming and efficient- the coffee was pretty good too 😉. Loved the seasonal bakewell tarts and mince pies with a twist.
