The Dragon Inn in Harrogate

Ordered early at 6pm online to have food arrive at 7:15 8pm still no delivery! Called to find out what was going on said it was out for delivery. 8:25 it finally arrived but no sweet and sour sauce with a dish. This was a £65 order. Had to call again, but too busy to get through for another 15 minutes before someone could pick up the phone. Said they would drop it off asap. It arrived within 10 minutes which was fast but a meal we should have been eating as a family at 7:15 ended up at 8:45. Not the best service my advice is order 2 hrs before you plan to eat

never had an issue. take away is always great and cant complain. Good food

Staying near Ripon for the weekend. Ordered a takeaway from The Dragon Inn. It was excellent value, quick service and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just ordered a takeaway today from here for the first time. Had a chicken fried rice and 2 vegetables in oyster sauce. Absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly. Had many Chinese/Cantonese over the years and this is up there at the very top. Fast service too. Highly recommended.

very disappointed. my online order arrived after 1 hour and 25 minutes. the duck was lukewarm and not tasty. fries and rice also cold. terrible food that cost me £40. very bad service. I will never order food from them again. Avoid!!!!

LOVE this place, can’t fault it!! Service with a smile, plastic cartons are Large, food is Plentyful and very decent quality, went next door last week and came straight back here the week after 🤣🙌🏽 i even felt guilty for being a traitor 🤣, i live above the Claro lounge so it’s on my doorstep (they don’t know that), and i’m getting hungry just talking GB about chinese food 😭😩🤪

I got young chow fried rice I may aswell got chicken fried rice. Absolutely horrendous . AVOD Also burnt chicken and full of egg clumps Please avoid

We had roast pork fried rice, king prawn and chicken chow mein with Cantonese spare ribs starter. And a portion of curry and gravy. Was good. Been a while since we had been but glad we did. Big improvement on the curry flavour. Good portion sizes too.

Duck on the bone means duck on the bone not a bone on the scraps if duck left over shocking dry tastless

Food was amazing beef was really soft and tender the flavour of the curry was mind blowing taste was out of this world would go back

Order food and was told 1 hour. 2 hours later the food arrives cold and items missing. The owner denied being the owner and refused refund. The delivery driver scurried away quicker than the rats in the kitchen

First few times of eating here the food was good. Then it became very hit and miss. After many chances the food tonight had no flavour yet again. Literally just battered crispy beef that had been deep fried within an inch of its life, not a chilli in sight or any flavour whatsoever. So disappointing when you spend your hard earned money on such horrendous food.

Best curry I’ve ever had I was on holiday this weekend and collected a curry from here was best can’t fault a thing wish they had a takeaway by me

Not happy, as i asked for king prawn an chicken sweet n sour balls. All were chicken. Batter wasnt crispy undercooked.

Under recent new management 6-7 meals so far. Just gets better!! Highly recommend Burngarth

Since re-opening improved 100 % had a few takeaways now and value for money ordering online and paying online better

I was camping nearby and the gas ran out on my Motorhome, unable to get hold of any gas and needing to feed my children but finding I was slightly outside of delivery radius this wonderful takeaway took pity on me and agreed to deliver for a slight charge, they then managed to organise a way for me to pay remotely…. Delivery was on time food was amazing and we are going to bed on full tummies… can’t recommend enough … thank you 🙏

Just had the noodle box, chilli. It really was lovely. Different from the normal takeout, tasty, spicy, sweet. Will definitely have again.

Unfortunately their website is incorrect. It allowed me to order at 22.25 for 22.45 collection to find the shop was closed & was met by a very rude man talking to us through the closed door. Please be aware it is not open until 11pm as stated online but you will still receive an order confirmation number.

This takeaway has been reopened after a refurb...food as good as ever...collection or delivery available.

Quick delivery time the food was hot and everything was cooked perfectly good sized portions The price was good and the delivery driver was polite and friendly is a great Chinese restaurant for you to go for a sit down meal aswell as for ordering takeaways I would definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant for both Take away and a sit down meal

This is now just a take away and has not been a restaurant for sometime and after some problems has yet again reopened. I’ve eaten from here on a couple of occasions recently (2021) and have definitely seen a decline in quality. Such a pity as not so long ago, things seemed to be looking up; not so now! I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews but I’m really that disappointed that I felt I was left with little choice. I won’t be returning any time soon!

Fantastic portion size and really tasty chinese. Was in area and this was recommended to us by a local, was not disappointed. Just a note that it’s cash only if collecting.

Over priced. Food was very commercial and average at best. Visiting the city and won't use again unless no other options. Good job my company was ace. Also, cash only? Thought that was against covid rules?

Singapore chow mein was terrible, i have had many in the past year u thought i will have a go with this place but once i opened the box i was supprised no flavour, barely any meat, the portion size was tiny. And the best is at the end after only trying a bit of it i have had 2 day food poisoning. I do not reccomend and will never go back there.

Being going here for many many years and always had great food BUT went on Saturday spent over £42 and found the meals to just taste like fat. Worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Sorry but my family won't be going again

The best hot n sour soup this side of China and lovely food. I wpuld almost advocate going the 90 minute drive just for the soup though. Fab.

Lovely town centre restaurant. Spacious and warm seating area, the staff are friendly and attentive. Food served in reasonable time and questions about ingredients were answered with satisfaction. Common dishes from around £7. Thoroughly enjoyable.
