Good pub if you got plenty of money

Had to give some stars for the food as they provide for their clientele during big sporting events, but alas it's just an outstanding pub anyway. You would not be disappointed if you came here on a night out. 🤷‍♂️ Always fun going on during the weekend. 👍

Nice friendly pub with open fires , nice big garden and dog friendly. The bar staff are great and the new landlady is doing a great job with the pub. The pool team are amazing too lol !

First time visit was notable with very warm welcome from landlady, staff and patrons, good atmosphere. Thank you. Wide range of beers. Sports on TV and live band later. All good for us will likely visit again in future.

The pub was great for karaoke on Friday. Prices of coke was a little steep at £3.25 a pint which is more than I pay at other venues I karaoke at but given it's a comfy well cared for pub I can accept the higher price. Hope to visit again if they get the same person running the karaoke 🎤

Newly taken over by its longest serving staff member and back to its old community atmosphere. There is a huge garden where they welcome families. They have good variety for the kids. Dog friendly! With free treats available on the bar for their furry friends. Easy to access from the Bristol to Bath cycle path so perfect for people who are passing to grab refreshments. They have Sky Sports for those of you that want to watch the Grand Prix or footie and it feels like 3000 TVs around the pub 🤣 Regular DJ every 2 weeks on a Friday, bands almost every Saturday and are starting a quiz on Thursdays 😁 Come say hi 👋

Me, my partner & neighbours spent a lovely couple here. It was also nice to see my friend who is the manager there.

We visited h this pub with our two year old. The new owner greeted us and made us feel welcome. She even brought out a bag of toys for our son. Good pub, would visit again.

Friendly and professional staff. Loads of space great outdoor seating for venues. Can't wait to go back

Staff friendly, drinks were quite expensive and the toilets were disgusting. Wouldn't recomend due to the toilets to be honest.

An OK pub for karaoke or watching sports. Good pool table and beer garden. Don’t expect a head on your ale though.

Nice pub. Really clean, great service. Decent selection of drinks. Loads of TVs showing the sports. Large covered area out the back.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The pub has a nice welcoming atmosphere. Events are held weekly, well worth a visit.

A small group of us were camping nearby. We called in to escape the rain. Very glad we did. Service was excellent. Prices very reasonable in post lockdown Britain .Plenty of seating available inside and out and all under cover. My group of friends are Welsh, so it was our first opportunity to have a drink indoors since March. Wales is still only allowed to serve outdoors. The customers were very friendly as were the hosts.The new way of paying and getting served was easy to understand. Hand sanitiser was provided and indeed compulsory on admission. Social distancing was maintained and cleanliness was immaculate. A great pub in every way. I certainly hope to visit again.
