The Dolphin in Milton Keynes

Been hearing amazing things about the carvery here and finally took the plunge! I should have done it sooner. The food was fresh, piping hot and a great selection. I will defo be returning. Should book in advance as not many tables

I've never been so hungover, and I can only blame the fact they had banana flavour sambuca... Not my usual idea for a night out, considering I live in New Bradwell, but I had a great time and the staff were very friendly.

a rather bizarre pub that was half open half closed with a poor selection if beer & a hoover lying around in the bar !

We have been to The Dolphin several times now on a Wednesday and we have enjoyed our meals every time. The carvery on Wednesday offers a choice of Gammon, Beef and Pork plus yorkshire pudding and stuffing. There was also sausages in onion gravy as well. Add to this vegetables of roast potatoes, new potatoes, cabbage, beans, parsnips, carrots, peas and a lovely cauliflower cheese which we love. Plenty of gravy and sauces available as well. For £5-50 this really is excellent value for money and we are surprised they are not busier than they are. Still worth checking as I know that groups do go there some Wednesdays. We will be returning on another Wednesday soon. Carvery available only on Wednesday and Sunday but only Wednesday at £5-50

This is our third Wednesday lunchtime visit and today was excellent. Carvery is available on Wednesdays and Sundays and the price is very good. Choice of 3 meats, Gammon, Beef and Pork (we were early so crackling, mmmm), stuffing, sausage and yorkshire pudding followed by the vegetables you select from new potatoes, cabbage, carrots, parsnips, broccoli, green beans, peas and cauliflower cheese and the roast potatoes today were absolutely superb and so crispy. We absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed our meals today and will be returning very soon.

My wife and I had the carvery on a Wednesday lunchtime and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food was hot and plentiful. Choice of meats which are carved for you and then plenty of vegetables which you help yourself to. Limited tables so worth checking before you go that it is a quiet day as some lunch groups do go there.

I went to the Dolphin Pub to watch England v Panama on a gorgeous sunny Sunday. The atmosphere was great and the punters very friendly. There’s a nice size garden with benches where you can sit and enjoy your drinks. The highlight of my visit was the knock down in lager prices which was hugely welcomed !

This is now a relatively down market pub compared to what it was years ago. The beer is ok but the surroundings leave much to be desired.

Just moved to the area and this is the only pub within walking distance. Good choice of Lagers, beers and cider. Huge TV, jukebox and pool table. Lovely lady behind the Bar, very welcoming and good local knowledge which has been helpful as just moved here, also dog friendly & child’s play equipment outside. There is also a nice big restaurant and we were told they do a fab carvery, will try it on our next visit 🍽

Great Pub Fare and Beer near Bletchley Park. Friendly staff and yummy pub food. Fish and Chips are wonderful, but several other great options. Wide selection of local beers. Well worth the stop if you are visiting the Bletchley Park area or Milton Keyes.

Very clean pleasant staff Restaurant bit wasn't open when we went but nice size plenty of free parking at side. Prices for drinks reasonable to.

Visited The Dolphin on way to Oxfords game at Milton Keynes yesterday and have to say the pub looked a bit ......but on getting in I can't overstate how welcoming the staff locals and landlord were to us .Not only were all the folks great company the landlord put on Jerk and other lovely chicken as well as tender belly pork for everyone..FOR FREE....Give it a visit ..a proper Boozer..cheers lads
