So there's a bit of complacency in the service and food quality. Cracking spot. Fare is nothing to write home about. Do a roaring trade in Summer, regardless.

There wasn't much of a choice on the menu, and the desert menu was a bit sparse, the surroundings were very nice and the waitresses welcoming and efficient

Relatively short menu but varied and fresh and the food was good. (Pictured is the Budda Bowl) The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was noticeably loud but to be fair this isn’t something they can really avoid.

Came here last week after visiting st Micheal mount. The food was amazing and large portions in ratio to the prices. However, I feel the restaurants downfall was the service. Or perhaps lack of. It wasn’t very busy yet no check back and took a while to come over every time to clear and take payments. I noticed a table of 2 sat next to us waited 20 minutes for their dirty plates to be cleared and eventually went up to pay once they had enough. It’s a shame as this is such a precious location to have restaurants. If only things were a bit more concentrated on tables.

Been there twice now and eaten on both occasions have always had the fish. No surprisingly Newlyn harbour only a couple of miles away so fish always good.

We stopped for an ice cream while on the search for our car keys which we lost on the beach!! 🤦🏽♀️ The rum and raisin ice cream was AMAZING and no complaints from the kids and hubby with their choices! The lovely gent who served us got his wife Zara to help us with locating the keys which luckily where found and left at the RLNI across but was closed, she managed to find someone who got the keys So thank you so much for your help lovely people and for the ice creams! 🥰 wishing you all the best x

Been coming here for many years, it is an absolute joy every time we come for a meal. Today me and my mother came for afternoon tea and everything was delicious and delectable, as it always is. The service is absolutely flawless, all the staff are exceptional and extremely welcoming, especially the manager. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a perfect meal out.

Beautiful building. Amanda the barmaid/waitress was very helpful and friendly. My family had the ham egg and chips, which was outstanding. I had fish and chips, the fish was delicious and fresh. The puddings were sinful and beautifully made.

I will start by saying the restaurant did reduce our bill and throw in a few free extras but we were very surprised by the quality and portioning of the food. At the time the cafe was very quiet but the staff seemed a little bit chaotic. Orders not being put through properly, items missed off and not knowing what beer they had available. A couple of us ordered the chicken burger (£13) and my son had the kids version (£8.50) but his came with chips. I was pretty shocked when we both received exactly the same sized portion. A small bun, 1/2 a small chicken fillet and one piece of lettuce, not exactly worth £13. The staff did even comment that they there was an issue but still felt it was fine to serve and just expect people to pay. The pizzas were but ok but again surprised when we we charged £3 for 2-3 sliced olives as an extra. We've eaten at many other places up and down the coast and based on our experience we would not return.
