The Dog and Gun in Blaby

What a lovely pub, nipped in as was passing by and the staff are amazing, nice clean pub, beer was spot on, will definitely be returning.

Been here about a year ago, so back in the area, was a must do to come back to the same pub, Still Sean behind the bar with his team, recognised me from last time, beer still kept well , very welcoming locals again, quick visit turned out to be 2 or 3 hours ....Food good value as well again.....Shame I don't live local as be definitely my local....Thanks again

I meet here for a meeting and I had never been before so I decided to stop for a drink after. The staff were lovely and really helpful with a few questions I had about the area. I’ve convinced my friends to come back with me on Friday because I thought it was a lovely home form home pub

Was passing by and stopped for a refreshing drink and it was gooood. Clean and tidy pub with friendly bar staff felt very inviting and I will definitely be back again.

A fantastic community pub in the heart of Enderby. It's got a lovely lounge and bar, a large pool / function room at the rear and large courtyard out back - a fantastic sun trap in the summer! Staff are friendly and welcoming, the locals are a good laugh. They love dogs, always a plus! They've had a couple of functions on that I've seen, plenty of room for parties. A light snack menu too, if you get peckish. Also darts, quizes , live music - all the stuff you'd expect from a fantastic locals pub.

A mid-lockdown treat which did not disappoint. Pre ordered on Friday, 2 Roast Beef lunches with Apple Crumble & Chocolate Fudge Cake for desserts. It arrived 10 mins later than expected but did not disappoint. Everything was still hot and could not get over the size.... massive !!! So many veg and perfect yorkshire puds and tasty beef. We barely had room for dessert but so glad we did. Real homemade desserts but yet again huge portions. Thank you so much.

Excellent burgers and vegan isolation box, eat in or take away, does Sunday lunch. Pub is also in the Brit Stop book for Motorhomers not far from M1 J21.

Excellent Sunday lunch £10.95 lovely beef gammon or pork cooked perfectly, 6 different vegetables 2 types potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Nice little restaurant at the back with a very nice helpful waitress.

Once the landlord had finished his crossword we had a couple of decent beers, but he looked a bit peeved that anyone might want to pay by card and also want a receipt. Food menu looked good but we went elsewhere.

Bang on! At the weekend they do a takeaway service where they do great burgers, a variety of choice with some decent and quirky options. Ive ordered a few times now over the last few months, not been disappointed! Big filing burgers for all suiters. But the real diamond of the menu is the “Dirty Fries” they really steal the show, must have with every order... ps they are a mouthful. Really is a good value for money! Definitely recommend! :)

No frills pub with a good local friendly atmosphere... great pint of Stella...Millie the dog tops it off..

Was in Enderby for business and thought it a good idea to explore the local scene which brought me to the Dog and Gun. There’s not much in the way of choice in this village. There was this pub and another round the next corner so I went for this one because it’s part of the Marston’s pubs chain. One entrance leads to two doors which take you round the bar in the middle. A little lounge area to the left and a slightly bigger bar area to the right. There’s a good sized outdoor area round the back which opens to the car park which is quite convenient although I wonder if people do come here by car. I’ve tried to think of anything that makes this place anywhere above average but couldn’t.. Server was pleasant. I suppose if I lived in Enderby I’d walk round here to meet up with friends and neighbours.

Landlord was rude, unassuming with an unbelievable attitude to new customers and the general consensus from other drinkers at other public houses was that I was 100% right.

Small Pub, now serving food. Lunches are quite busy. Now surrounded by new housing estate, so out door seating can be a problem.

Lovely little pub, the owner is friendly and all staff very helpful. Recommend for a nice drink. They don't do food.

my wife and I have been in this little pub in enderby village several time as we live local and know quite a few people who drink here has a small lounge at the front which gets packed mostly at weekends but the bar at the rear is quite a lot bigger its a friendly little pub and worth a visit
