Staff member has an attitude problem, everything seems like a chore. Don't like it then find a new job. Pints expensive.... majority of the draught options are not available. Sticky floors.

Door staff was quite hostile. I had my ID checked at the door which is followed by an ID scanner, at the time I wasn't able to see this because there was a crowding of young men so I stepped out of line for a moment thinking I had been let in when security a woman directed me back quite harshly, when I got to the scanner I apologised for accidentally stepping out of line and said I couldn't see it because there was a crowding of young men she did not reply and just stared at me, I had my ID scanned but realised my friend was still standing outside so I left the pub again. The woman then started staring at me and my friend and talking about us, since we have passed the pub she has been staring at us and I have not returned as I feel the atmosphere is hostile and it is putting a damper on my night. I would like to point out I had, had no alcohol by that point in the night so there was no chance I was being inappropriate or rude due to intoxication. I don't know what about me has prompted glares from the staff it may be the way I dress or perhaps the fact I mistakenly stepped out of line for a moment but I did apologise and still being treated rudely has quite upset me, I will not be returning to dockyard

The bottomless brunch was immense. It was a little slow, but only because the bar was prepping the tasty cocktails. Mustache Robbie was the hero 👏 thank you

On our bottomless brunch, Moustache man Robbie was very accommodating and made sure we had more than enough drink to keep up. Also very good food and drinks were not limited like most bottomless brunches

Me and my mate waited over 45 minutes for food. We were not pre warned on the wait and my food came and was eaten before my friends even though we only ordered 5 minutes before. The food was okay but the wait was ridiculous. We were not the only table to complain.

I came into the pub on a Friday night/evening and had a lovely time, however I came in today and was met with a completely different experience. I booked a bottomless brunch through design my night and then was met by the bill that read £34 per person instead of £30, might be a minor difference to some people but I came down to visit my cousins who are at uni and on a low budget so that £4 could mean more to them than others. I am disgusted with the service I got from the manager (Dan) he was disrespectful, not understanding and had no customer service skills. He didn’t try to speak nicely, he came in a tone and even his employees thought it was wrong and could visibly see it was aggressive and completely out of order. I am disgusted about the way I was treated in this establishment by the manager and ‘face’ of the business. Ben however, the team leader, was a delight. He was helpful and had compassion and understanding while talking to us which was very much appreciated, especially after the disrespect we had just experienced. I would recommend people to go to this pub as it’s a good atmosphere and some staff are very attentive and seem like they don’t hate you unlike others. Just know that if you ask to speak to the manager, your in for a shocking treat.

We came and visited for the bottomless, 6 of us. Enjoyed ourselves very much. We were only gonna stay for the couple of hrs bottomless, but we were having such a good time we stayed a few more hours for the 2-4-1 cocktails. Our Server was Robbie. He was great. Looked after us very well. The table next to us were a bit loud and rude to him but he was very professional and handled them very well. I also took names to note for our excellent night and they were Hannah, Jess, Chloe, Kaya and Kadie. Great night. Thanks guys. We also noticed Robbie had finished his shift and was enjoying the rugby so bought him a drink as a thanks. 👍🏻 Photo with Robbie in England shirt. Look out for him. He’ll look after you.

Shout out to the staff! My girlfriend and I visited the dockyard on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Even though there were several large groups (one of which was being particularly obnoxious) the staff still took the time to make sure we were looked after and kept a lovely attitude. If you're wanting to watch some sport, have a bit to eat or just sit down for a few drinks and good vibes. The dockyard is a great place to do it.

Came for a bottomless brunch but would NOT recommend. Tables were not even set up for us. First drinks took over 50 minutes, food was stone cold and minimal. Only 1 poor waiter was serving the whole place. Would never return or recommend for bottomless brunch.

Food was cold, bland and very little of it. Peroni was either flat or had been left for a while before being served. Avoid. Better at the wetherspoons around the corner

Went for brunch the service was good but when it came to food the whole of the crust on our pizzas were black and inedible. Would not eat there again

Awful experience. Terrible service, dirty tables, burnt food and so incredibly loud that it makes talking nearly impossible! Will not use again and definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else to bother.

Changed review from 5 stars down to 2. Great place to go if you want to spend £6-8 per pint drink, and get the joy of wading through pisswater when going to use the toilets (on every single occasion over the last 2 years) .... Bonus sticky floors, poor service and long waiting times to be served. New menu isn't the best, nachos are 3x the price compared to spoons and is basically just rocket and a few small chunks of tomato.

Had a fab time yesterday at another bottomless brunch visit. Thanks to “Moustache Man” who was so attentive in serving us again. Looking forward to our next visit

bartenders were made us wait 20 minutes while serving people who pushed in front of us continuously. completely ignored us. outrageous!

Had such a great time yesterday at the bottomless brunch - Robbie was an absolute star! Kept the drinks flowing, chatted with us and made sure we were all good and looked after. Wish the food had come out a little bit sooner, but overall had such an amazing time! 100% worth the money and the best bottomless brunch of the whole weekend!

Popped in for some drinks before a show at the Guildhall (24.01.25 about 5pm) service was good and quick. No issues there. However, the ladies loos upstairs had hardly any toilet roll available. Most cubicles were empty. Toilets not overly clean either. Knocked a star off for that.

Lively on a friday. Decent priced doubles and mixers. Darts and tvs for the footy.

The security is Embarrassing to there own company as well as the dockyard, my son was bullied and discriminated against and this will be taken further, I have been trying to get hold of management and with no luck will now start proceedings of a formal complaint

Food was decent, service was a little slow ish and expensive. Overall was a good place to eat.

Used to be Yates, was better than but it's not too bad now, gets busy on the weekends and has a nice vibe to it. It's good for watching sports events like football or rugby as they always show something. There's plenty of screens showing various sports so there's always something good to watch. Prices are very reasonable and the food was really nice.

Bouncer at the door didn’t let me and my friends in because of an accent (north wales) as he said he was too drunk despite him being a 200+ ibs male and only having 3 pints in Wetherspoons prior. Very poor service and it’s a shame as it looked the best bar on the street on NYE. Very poor bouncer

Went for bottomless brunch yesterday for 50th birthday was served by a young lady called katy who was very rude and abrupt slammed drinks down I believe katy needs to learn people skills in the industry she works in after serving us for 20 mins we got a lovely waiter/ barman called Ben who couldn't of done more for us what a lovely man he changed our bad experience day into a lovely afternoon thankyou Ben.

Ordered the sharer and nachos. £30+ and a 40+ minute wait. What a disappointment. Would have sent it back if I wasn't so hungry and pressed for time to get the train, not to mention bar was rammed. The sharer was bog standard but ok at a push. Nachos were just diabolical. Salsa was just some chopped up tomato and onion, which had no dip element to it. Little dollop of the usual sour cream, guacamole and cheese sauce rather than actual cheese. It was just crap. Not worth the £9.50 at all. Never again!

Very bad behaviour of staff and owner, especially not good at all with food delivery driver, keep them wait an hour for an order, doesn’t give value of time of other person.

Very average, overpriced food. Social atmosphere, aimed at students. Bought their big bowl fries and paid extra for sweet potato but was given normal fries anyway. Was told I’d be given the extra money back but never got it. Drinks were fine though

Me and some girls went for a bottomless brunch yesterday and were really impressed. They food was delicious, the cocktails were tasty and not tiny, but the experience was made great by the excellent service we received from Kaya. If I could give a zero I would been sat down for a bottomless brunch for 45 mins and had one drink was told it was a drink every 15 mins also cause the manager is a certain football team fan he was blasting the game through the speakers and I could not hear my friends across the table. Would not recommend.

I wouldn’t go here as it really bad with customer service

We had phoned in advance of our visit, to check whether they would be showing an interesting rugby match between New Zealand and South Africa, and were assured they would! But, when we got there, there was no rugby and they would not be showing any! The attitude was also very dismissive.

My dad, 62 years of age, came down to see me for the weekend and wasn't allowed in the premises because he didn't have ID!!! This is bang out of order!!! Older people do not carry ID and was definitely not under age!!! This ruined our night because our friends were in the venue and we couldn't come in to have a drink, something needs to be done about this, I know there's policy's in place but not letting a 62 year old in due to not having ID is ridiculous!!!

This place is so expensive. Didn't have the food, just popped in for a drink, and WOW.

Very good place to watch sports, and in general they have good decoration even in the bathrooms.

Visited this pub before the Portsmouth, Sunderland match. Brilliant sports bar, great choice of beers and excellent service!

Found our new favourite place. Had my favourite cider on tap (inches) and the food and cocktails were also excellent. Very friendly and fast service, will definitely be coming back.

Robbie was amazing, things had gone very wrong today and brunches were not meant to be booked online but they were, the Manager got Robbie to look after us and he did great in v difficult circumstances, the place was packed but we had constant drinks and the food was quick. No complaints here at all

So we had the bottomless brunch yesterday for the second time in 3 weeks. Food was good and big shout out to our server Parker, he was very quick with the drinks considering that it was very busy, all in all exceptional service and very polite

Popped in here several times while in Portsmouth. Lots of TV screens for the sport, service good and beer ok. Can get very busy in the evening especially during university term time.

We went to watch the cricket world cup here. There are loads of TV's so you can easily watch different games. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was really good and value for money. The staff are friendly and the service was good.

Absolutely disgusting. The sausages were so overcooked that just disintegrated.

Came in for the euros and bought a bucket hat at the bar from Chloe and she said 10/10 pints then sat down at my table and Helena came over and cleared up my glasses and made us feel really welcome and defo going back
