Siam Square Southsea in Portsmouth

Having heard the positive reviews of siam Square I decided to try it with my father and step mother who were visiting. We opted for the 2 course lunch menu which was very good value with plenty of options. We assumed being a lunch menu that the portion would be small however we pleasantly surprised at the substantial meal infront of us. I opted the satay chicken and gareng mas sa man which was stunning. My father loved the soup and even though he is a seasoned pro with spicy food he felt the heat today. All in all a fantastic service and food in a throughly pleasent atmosphere. Will 100 percent be back again and again and again. Thanks siam Square

One of my favourite places - The food & service 10/10 as always! The mixed platter starter is THE BEST, the chicken satay is honestly something else! It has the right amount of sauce and chicken isn’t dry either. I am already looking forward to my next visit :)

The food is not bad, but it can only be described as fusion, not too authentic. In addition, the waiting time for food is very long, so I only gave it three stars.

Super find at Portsmouth! Excellent Thai food, best we had outside Thailand. Service was spotless, not too close, but available at smallest signal. Very clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern decor. Price was best we had for 5 people. First time here and strongly recommend. Will definitely come back.

Never place an order through Uber Eats or ask for a delivery in this restaurant. I placed the order before in just eat and only knew my order didn't go through when I call to ask for allergens. Then the delivery person left the order on tge street, in the wrong address and someone (probably the same delivery person)stole our food. Never buying food there again. When I called them to explain what happened they just suggested not to order again.

The food is authentic i personally enjoyed chicken pad Thai though I was there to eat raw papaya salad and mango sticky rice but it wasn’t there may be later some other time.

The Pad Thai was nice, would eat from there again. The hijabi girl working there was so polite and lovely I must say. Great service.

The food was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good.

Came here with my family due to recommendations because it's halal and heard the food is tasty. The service was good, but overall the food was average. I enjoyed my meal which was stir fried chicken, but my relatives ordered dishes they've had before and said that the taste has really changed and isn't as nice as before, including the 2 different chef specials but the difference was barely anything. Additionally, we ordered chicken dishes which didn't say it was sweet in the description and therefore they didn't eat it as it was overpowering. The prawn tempuras and toast were nice though. For a halal place, you'd expect mocktails considering how much alcohol they have on their menu. For the money spent they unfortunately did not think it was worth it. I might come back sometime and try something else different though.

Incredibly bad service. Missed dishes from our takeaway order, after confirming the order was on its way. When called to say, they refused to deal with it, including making up dishes for us to collect. No redund or replacement dishes. I wouldn't bother!

Absolutely awful service for takeaway. They missed two main dishes and when called to complain, they hung up on me. Called again, admitted fault but wouldn't replace dishes or refund! Avoid ordering!

The general atmosphere was really nice and it looked rather fancy. But for a fancy restaurant the price was amazing, for two people with 2 starters and 2 mains it was only £50 which is really good for the amount of food you get! The staff were lovely and really helpful. I had to double check with them about items containing peanuts and they were so helpful. Definitely coming back

Siam square Southsea Overall 🌟🌟🌟🌟 All staffs are very friendly and helpful, full of patient very supportive to the customers😊 it is a very good experience!! Salt & pepper Squid 🦑 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Very crispy and delicious! Not very spicy but you can smell it when it is getting close to your mouth 😍 not much but definitely enough for three people to share. It is a quite common dish in UK but sometimes it can be taste very funny….but in there it taste really good 😊👍🏻 I had nothing to complain for it. Tom Yum Soup with Prawns 🦐 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I thought it will be a bit bigger but it is still alright. Taste very fresh and soothe, got some mushrooms and some herbs and vegetables inside the soup. Absolutely warm me up after having this! It will be perfect if the size is a bit bigger. Curry with duck 🌟🌟🌟 Can’t remember the actual name of the dish and it looks a bit different compared to the curry that I normally had. It supposed to be quite thicky but it just looks like soup more than curry. Taste not bad and duck are not bad too. Just it is not what I expected. Pad Kee Mao with duck 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Compared to the pad Thai this one is a bit more spicy and it’s fried with vegetables so it seems like a bit more healthy and it is delicious anyway. Quite match with the duck. Recommend. Pad Thai with Seafood 🌟🌟🌟🌟 It is surprising me cause can’t believe it is full of seafood with the noodles and taste amazing! This potion is a little bit small compared to others but very yummy 🤤 if you don’t like spicy food you will love it! Very good quality of Thai foods and prices are very reasonable. All staffs are very friendly with excellent service quality.

Beautiful inside, great decoration and very clean. Food tasted nice, we got takeaway which seemed like a mistake, not that it was bad but it would have been better to eat inside the restaurant due to its appearance

Great atmosphere, incredible food. The mushroom satay and chu-chi pla (deep fried salmon in red Thai curry sauce) are out of this world and my top rated with the lamb shank massaman a close runner up!

Came in for lunch, to the lunch set menu thats offers 1 appetizer and 1 main. Got the sprinv roll and green curry. Both were delicious! Rest of the party enjoyed their meal too. Good service, very inviting. Will definitely come again.

me and my partner dined here last night and it's safe to say it was one of the best evening outs we have had in a very long time. with thai being one of my favourite cuisines, i had to dine here as soon as i saw it. the food was amazing and the service was even better! every member of staff were polite, attentive and friendly. our particular server, unfortunately i do not know his name, really went above and beyond to make our experience so enjoyable- keeping us topped up with water, ensuring we were okay throughout the evening. this is what portsmouth was lacking! we will be back- thank you! x

My wife and I were in Southsea for a few days and went to the Siam Siam Square for a meal. Wow, it was fabulous. You could taste all the different flavours. The staff were wonderful. Will definitely go again when in the area.

Good Tai food. Reasonable price. Friendly services. Comfortable seating. If you love Tai food, must try.

What an amazing restaurant with such lovely staff. Food was phenomenal, delicious and well presented….too pretty to eat, but I ate it anyway as it was fabulous.

Went for lunch today - service was friendly, food was delicious, we've had a takeaway from here which was good enough to tempt us to dine in and I'm so glad we did. Definitely some of the best Thai food I've ever had. 5 stars from me.

Disgusting treatment booked a table a week in advance for my daughters 16th birthday for 7 this evening arrived at 7 to be told could we come back in ten mins as no table available could not wait in foyer and pointed towards the door! OK deep breaths come back 7.25 to be told once again no table still.Pointed towards the door again and asked to wander around outside again and if maybe you come back later 10 per cent off! Very poor service and an upset 16 Yr old birthday girl.Thanks for nothing!

Visited the restaurant last night and it was amazing! The food was some of the best food me and my two friends have ever had!! The services was fab too and they done their best making sure we were all happy :) Wish I could finish my food but I was too full up!! Definingly will be returning to try some more of the menu, very lucky to have some great restaurants on our doorstep :) Thank you x

Very tiny portion compared to other Thai restaurants

The food and folks at Siam Square went above and beyond my expectations. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, the staff were friendly and most importantly the food was simply delicious. Refreshing to have another local food option.
