The Directors Box in Manchester

Was in on Superbowl night, amazing atmosphere, all staff were brilliant, friendly & attentive - first time in but I'll be back for sure!

Nice enough but didn’t really seem to have a focus on sport. There was no audio of the pre match build up and only switched once it kicked off. Switched back to music at halftime and, bizarrely, had Antiques Roadshow on as soon as the game finished. Staff were great, beers were tidy but not the sport focus experience I had expected.

Both Alex's were great hosts for our Bottomless Brunch! Thanks a lot for our experience 🙏

Arrived on time for our booking to find out our spot has been taken and the man at the bar did nothing to help but told me the £30 deposit would come back into my account and I still have not received this. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Really enjoyed going to this place for the fa cup final and the the derby it was amazing service was great no matter how busy! But tonight went into the venue and we were stood at the bar 25 minutes without being served the people on the bar knew we was waiting she didn’t seem too bothered that we had to wait I’d understand if it was mad busy but it wasn’t was very rude of her to just keep serving people that had come to the bar after us so we didn’t stay we walked out won’t be returning back to the place again

Great bar, went in with some friends to catch some sports and was served by Alex. His recommendations were spot on and he was hilarious! Defo recommend the crowd pleaser sharer, it was fantastic! Will be back again!

Our mistake on the booking but our group of 10 arrived 30 mins late for our booking. Was told by the manager that we wouldn't be served. I can't rate the food as we didn't get any. Had to go else where.

Brilliant bottomless brunch, especially for a large group of 18. Very attentive and great choice of food and drink. Eloise was fantastic from start to finish and definitely made sure we were all well catered for. Would highly recommend!

Came here for a brunch on Saturday, absolutely amazing! Kept drinks flowing the entire time. Morgan and Beth (I can't remember🙈) were amazing and so attentive . Food was brillaint as well!

Horrible service. One of the waitresses made us get up from the table and, very rudely, took two chairs away, leaving us without seats. Two of my friends were left standing. Additionally, our table wasn’t cleaned. I definitely don’t recommend this place and wouldn’t return because of the terrible attitude of this waitress.

Really nice place and the food is cooked incredibly well. Staff are very friendly and got the chance to speak with Adam the Chef too which was a joy. Definitely will come back many more times.

The atmosphere is cool for watching a football match. However, the reservation system is catastrophic and absurd. People book for several hours in the middle of a match and others stay up without being able to eat because there is a “reservation” We need to review the business plan and reception No need to make a reservation in an establishment like this. Furthermore, the prices are 30% higher than elsewhere, there is only one server (very long service) and the food is passable.

Me and my friends have been served by the lovely and attentive Morgan this evening. She has been absolutely amazing. Attentive, courteous and she went above and beyond for our table. Thank you again. This girl deserves some recognition 👏🏻

I don't want to give 1 star as the food was good and very friendly service, but I've been waiting over a month to get a deposit I placed partially refunded and still waiting, and I have no idea why it's taken so long. I'm not a big fan of my money being stolen from me. EDIT: Thank you for the good communication and follow-up 👍🏻

I’ve been in on several occasions to watch the football and boxing, it’s always got a lively atmosphere for the big sports events, the food is always top quality with the mighty meat pizza being a must have, definitely need to try the bottomless brunch next time I’m in

Like to go to DB when any major sports is on, can't miss anything there are that many screens! Great sports bar feel at reasonable Manchester prices. Not tried to much off the menu but what I've ordered has always been good. Also the staff are friendly and helpful even when it's rammed. Would recommend making this place as part of your night out

First the not so good the food on the bottomless brunch is bang average . Left most of it but the endless drinks selection ok . What they do insist is that all drinks are finished and a new round ordered all together when you have 20 plus drinkers of different speeds this can cause issues was it worth it ? Not really

The food was average and staff were very helpful in service. Unfortunately, that's all positives I can state from my visit. The audio is terrible during a live sports broadcast. Slightly out of sync and forget listening to any commentary as no full range audio for dialogue in the venue. The washrooms were disgusting, water was everywhere on the floor, and they were not clean. Disappointed experience overall.

Had a nice chilled Sunday , few cocktails & wines. Service & the bar was quick but unfortunately using the app to order was slow. Enjoyed it all the same, maybe just stick to ordering at the bar

Great place to watch football with loads of screens

Had the best time at the directors box on Sunday, what can get better than having a bottomless brunch while watching the F1! The atmosphere was amazing and the pub was so busy. The pizza was delicious and the cocktails kept flowing. We loved it so much that I’ve booked back in for my friends engagement party! We can’t wait! The team working was incredible!

Amazing venue with enough screens that you can watch everything at the same time. Food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Credit to Joe & Morgan for running a great venue! Will 100% be returning!

Went in for a free drink with MiXR App. Was quiet but clean and friendly staff. Ordered the Barbie chick pizza on the lunch deal and was surprised how nice it was

Great pub for the football games great staff

We literally had to beg for the commentary of each olympic athletics final to be played in an almost empty bar. There was hardly anyone in at all and they were determined to play music instead of any commentary for something that happens once every four years. After every race, they turned the commentary off straight away so we couldn't hear any of the analysis etc, so that they could put on the average music. Then we had to almost fight to get it played again for the next final. Not a sports bar at all. Lots of screens, no understanding of what's important.

Went for the night with friends for the Euros. Brilliant sports bar, loads of screens and was bouncing from the off. Staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. Drinks no more expensive than comparable bars (unless you go to spoons, but then you're in. Spoons!!), will definitely be back next time I'm in the city

The Atmosphere in the Directors box is amazing especially when sporting events are been aired. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can't comment on the food as we did not eat there. The deco is tasteful and reflects that this is a sports bar

Went to go into the pub today around 1:30 on a Friday but wasn’t able to even get in. Blokes shouting outside on the steps and putting up racist stickers on the posts outside of the pub. They were there for over an hour. To the management why is this acceptable ?

Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Ok food, expensive no check back to see if everything was OK. Burnt garlic bread sent out of which I refused, took 15 minutes for a replacement with withered rocket that's been sat under the hot light for the last 15 minutes whilst FOH natter on the bar. Only 3 tables in. 20 mins before dirty pates even cleared, no wonder the rest of manchester bars are rammed and you are quiet. Let down for the chefs.

Some staff were really nice. Others not so much. Portions are small for the price.

Had a wonderful time visiting directors box. brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff. would recommend to all. perfect place to watch the match.

A group of us had reserved a table here for a busy euro quarter-finals day and we had a wonderful time. I had to lay out £40 as a deposit but this is knocked off your drinks when you arrive and it worked really well. We asked for a particular table in a booth and this had been saved for us by the manager. He looked after us particularly well and booking prove to be a great idea. It was really quiet when we first arrived at 1:30 but by kickoff time there wasn't a place to be out. They serve an excellent range of drinks at city centre prices and they have some unusual beers as well. Even though it was packed we got served quickly and easily and had a very enjoyable time indeed. Highly recommended if you want a sporting day.

Absolutely terrible place, all the staff give a terrible attitude. Completely rude to the customers. Food was dreadful must have been a frozen pizza. Cant imagine they have any returning customers! Laughable this place

A great find from my husband for our weekend away in Manchester. Our food was lovely and this was a lovely place for a few pints. Great atmosphere, fully recommend to all! Thanks so much.

The Little Rebel burger needs serious improvement. Tasted like a doner kebab. Toilets were very dirty.

Had the best experience for bottomless brunch! We arrived and the table was set and drinks were there straight away, as soon as we were nearly finished they brought us another round! The staff were so lovely- we went for my birthday and I was surprised with a dessert and card which was so sweet! The service was amazing and the staff were really friendly will definitely be back soon! Additionally when we asked for the F1 to be put on they were very accommodating. Went with a group of 11 friends for a bottomless brunch. We were greeted like royalty with specailly made cocktails and jugs of beer! Service was outstanding. The manager and his colleague went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and had a great 2 hours. Food was also excellent and would not hesistate to return.

Had to ask the staff three times where our food was over 1.5h, and got told that she would check with the kitchen. The food was decent when we got it, bit definitely not worth the wait.

People sat around on tables for 6 with only water to drink. Couldn’t get a table - was willing to spend evening there eating and drinking. Barmen laughed at me when asked if a table could be made free.

We were in Manchester for a couple of days for a concert, and came upon this bar we were looking to watch the Scottish Cup semi final, alas on the same day as the Manchester utd semi final 😂 I believe it could have been the manager got it on one of the tvs for us so we could watch it We had a great time with the man u fans, fantastic drinks and atmosphere Thankyou was appreciated

We went here as it was recommended by a friend. Great atmosphere and very well priced. Good selection of drinks. The food options were good as we all found it difficult to just choose one! The food was well cooked and delicious. Not expensive. The toilet area was clean and well lit.

Guys at the entrance very friendly and kind. Inside, after ordering two beers standing, we found a seat. We tried to order something to eat but were told we had to wait over an hour (it was 5.50pm and they didn't ask us what we wanted to order; it was just fries).

We had a wonderful host named Reece, whose customer service and hosting skills are 100% appreciated, from making sure we are having a joyful night, enjoying the night and the drinks on offer. Cannot thank him enough for the service he provided tonigh. A credit to your company and pass on our thanks for a great experience.

Excellent bottomless brunch on a Saturday! We arrived 20 mins late, and pre-called to say we would be as we had trouble with taxis and the venue was super accommodating. We arrived with a bottle of Prosecco already waiting on the able and Joe our server was excellent and served us throughout our booking. He was very attentive with taking our food order and then with drinks orders. Even coming over before we finished our pre-existing drinks. So we could order and be served our next ones as we finished the first. Could not recommend anywhere better. Value, quality and service is/was top notch. Nice one Joe & ‘the directors box’

Have the sports on with the volume. Nice seating. Good pints. The place is very clean including the toilets. Staff are very efficient fast at serving and clear the plates

I booked a bottomless brunch for my birthday and I'm so glad I did. As soon as we got there it was a nice and friendly atmosphere. The security at the door were friendly and welcoming. We went in and the guy who was serving us showed us to us seats then told us how everything works with the bortomless brunch. We still had a few others to wait for so he brought us a bottle of prosecco over while we waited and then more when others were there. As soon as everyone arrived our drinks order was taken and food was brought out. The food was lovely and the drinks just kept coming. There was a few different staff members who came over to our table which made the service very quick and they were all very friendly, including the guy from the kitchen too. Overall, the night was brilliant, and I would highly recommend booking. Was a lovely birthday treat. Thank you to all staff in there.

Really good atmosphere! Great food, drinks and beer and really nice staff! If you want to watch Premier League matches, get there early. It gets packed quickly, and that’s a good thing. 8 screens, you’ll have at least one screen to look at. From everywhere.

Will mark this 5 stars purely down to the service, excellent service by the team who despite being busy was able to ensure me and my friends were fed and constantly watered during the bottomless brunch. I believe the person who served us was Neil (from memory) and he was brilliant. Thank you

The awful manager robin is a fool he’s got a bad attitude he thinks he’s safe as he was talking to any employee of stonegate, he stated he’s got better things to be doing than sorting out a refund for an order no longer wanted lol like what? that’s your job you fool serving people, he wants to watch himself from now on as you never know someone might just wait for him to finish his shift one night & do him in.

We had bottomless brunch. From the moment we arrived, Robin took amazing care of us. Complimentary drinks, more drinks, shots, more drinks, food, etc. he was so quick to get us drinks and would order more drinks for us while we havent even started the ones on the table. So many prosecco bottles too. He was very sweet and nice. Best bottomless experience and I wish everyone would learn from Robin.

Came for bottomless brunch yesterday, and was served by Reece. Was absolutely the best bottomless brunch we have been to, not once was we without drinks, Reece constantly checking to make sure our drinks were full. He's an absolute credit to the bar! Thankyou Reece for making our day!

Went in with some friends to watch the match. Order a round in and was changed double. Let bar staff know who told me it would be put back into my bank. I said they can just bring me the additional round out as I had paid for it, they said they can't do that. Before I left I told them again I'd been charged twice for the round and can see it's cleared in my bank. Staff told me again it would be put back in. Obviously it never was refunded. Tried to call about it, no answer, emailed about it, no response.

I remember this pub many years okay The Crown new owners kept the lovely personality friendly thank you Kat and Emily for a lovely evening my friend and I will be back god bless you both

Works outing for Xmas last night…. Supper Club with upgrade - what can I say!!!! Fabulous service, wonderful staff, great food and endless drinks. The staff could not do enough and totally looked after the two not drinking, bringing fantastic alcohol free alternatives … cannot praise this enough

Came for the finale of the F1 2023 season & was not disappointed - directors box does it again 👌🏼

Watched the Rugby World Cup Final here... so I'm told!
