The Crown Wood in Bracknell Forest

Our visit was a family celebration for my husband’s birthday. There were 18 family guests plus one dog with an age range of 10 months to 90 years. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff involved did a great job. A special nod to Mikey who helped me organise the do in a very professional and supremely patient manner. The food served was very good and just as we had ordered. The seating area was ideal being partially separated from the main area but close enough to enjoy the pub atmosphere. The total cost of the do was very reasonable. Everyone had a great time.

First time visiting, lovely pub. Beautiful food, special mention to Mikey I think his name was, 10/10 customer service, went above and beyond. He’s an asset to the pub! 😊

Went there today with my fiancée. Very nice atmosphere, staff were all very kind and the prices weren't bad (particularly the food which was a lot better than I thought). Only down side was I have a serious allergy, and despite making the servers aware of this I was served the regular apple pie for desert rather than the non-gluten containing one like i specifically ordered. Lucky I checked with the staff or there might have been a serious incident. This has happened also the last time I went last year. A bit of a let down to what was otherwise a lovely afternoon at the pub.

Went for a roast dinner with my daughter today...lovely friendly staff, ,the meal was huge,lovely mix of vegtables..an enjoyable few hours.

The pub is perfect for meeting up with friends and catching up! I was served by a lady called Christine. She helped me choose what I wanted to drink and was very helpful. Great sense of humour!

We came as a family for a few drinks and the service was amazing, Phil who was in the kitchen made a very good looking burger for my son and Chrissy who served us drinks welcomed us and was also very poilte and interacted with my daughter

Popped in for a quick drink with the family and can’t praise the staff enough. Great food and great staff (Big shout out to Chrissy and Phil). Will definitely come back 👍

I was served by a lovely lady called Christine. Very polite and friendly. Christine asked if I needed any help getting to my table as I am suffering from Sciatica and in a lot of pain. Very helpful.

Thanks to Phil and the crew, just had a lovely 3 course Christmas Lunch. Stuffed just about describes how I feel. Lovely Food, great friendy atmos and reasonable prices. Same time, same place, same date Next Year.

On our visit today was a breath of fresh air. This pub is exactly how a pub should be, friendly, spotlessly clean, and a good selection of BWS. So many landlords let the standards slip to oblivion......NOT HERE. A credit to licenced trade, Green King take note. Thank You.

The staff at the pub are amazing, the service is exemplary. Keeley the landlady has a heart of gold and always willing to go the extra mile. Good , clean environment suitable for all types. A good feeling pub.

Popped down for Sunday lunch .It is our local so we are within walking distance .We knew there were 2 big games on today so got down early. We both had roast dinners which are huge .I left some veggies as I just couldn't eat it all .Staff are always friendly, was asked if everything was OK half way through our meal. Very reasonable prices and close for us which is why we continue to visit .

My experience was great at the crown however it was a unfortunate situation that both the entrance and corner smelled like poo other than that I had an excellent time at this wonderful venue Ps a bit febreeze would work excellently

Visit this pub every Tuesday with a group of adults with learning disabilities to play bingo, Phil and all the staff have always been extremely accommodating, welcoming and generous to our group. We are a big group most weeks and food is always lovely and of a really high standard would definitely recommend to anyone

Visited the crounwood for a meal on Sunday evening understandable the pub was busy and very noisy due to football being on.my wife and I both orded Beef roast dinners which came to the table in a acceptable time and both looked realy nice the vedge was cooked well the gravy was nice and their was plenty of beef unfortunately the beef was as tough as shoe leather as the pub was very busy I was unable to catch any staffs attention to complain so we ate what we could leaving the tough beef don't get me wrong everything on the plate apart from the beef was very nice .when I went to pay at the bar and mentioned the beef the bar made stated she was sorry for that and gave me the final price of the bill not so much as I'll pass it on to the management ,very disappointed.

7 of us turned up without prior booking, & yet we had some great food. The pub was a bit understaffed, but that didn't spoil the service. Very nice lady was serving us. She is a great asset to the pub. The food was excellent value for money. And cooked to perfection. Would definitely visit again.

Booked a pub lunch with our grandsons on new years day .Not been in for a while .Phil and the young girl serving were lovely. I have visited the crown wood multiple times and the staff there are lovely, Christine provided us excellent service throughout the night. Was a positive setting and everyone was lovely, would highly recommend.
