A great experience from start to finish. Extensive selection of drinks and attentive (but not intrusive) staff. The Carvery offering is AMAZING - the best we've ever had.

Had a few drinks here as part of a wedding celebration. Friendly staff, nice quiet atmosphere. On a bit of a one way system road to bear in mind if driving.

We have just had our Christmas Get Together at The Crown tonight. The food was good, plenty of it. We decided to go for the Christmas menu which had sufficient choices. The service was excellent and the team tonight were great. Thank you very much. Unfortunately we did not stay as long as we would have liked due to the fact that it was absolutely perishing in the room we were in, which was such a shame

We had the gammon steaks with chips, tomato, pineapple, egg & peas. Very tasty & one of the best we have had. Very clean throughout & still a nice pint of John Smiths bitter beer. Thank you for the warm welcome.

We have not eaten here since Roger left. Well, it is back to the good old days. Lovely food at very good prices and a pint of excellent ale. Just as it used to be. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Can recommend fully - thank you.

We had a gammon meal & chicken tikka massallah. Nicely presented. Friendly service. We waited 20 minutes for freshly cooked food. The John Smiths bitter was very good. Photos of food are available. This is our first visit since before the first Lockdown. New management to whom we wish the very best. Thank you.

Vinimos como un grupo de amigos a la Corona por recomendación de un colega de trabajo. . . y NO nos decepcionó. . . el personal es muy acogedor y atento. . el menú, aunque reducido un poco debido a las restricciones de Covid, era lo suficientemente variado como para tener una buena elección. . y los precios son increíbles. . . Excelente calidad y presentación. . . no me puedo quejar de nada. . .

El pub se está esforzando mucho con las prácticas de córvidos. Bienvenida amistosa. Servicio rapido .Teníamos la intención de tener entrante, plato principal y postre.Buena selección de cervezas y lager.Los entrantes llegaron rápidamente. El gougon de pollo con chile dulce era sabroso y de buena calidad. La sopa de champiñones estaba bien y los budines de Yorkshire con llanura o cebolla cebada estaban bien.Inicialmente, la red principal parecía un poco decepcionante. Pero los huecos se llenaron con platos adicionales de verduras y queso coliflor.De nuevo teniendo en cuenta el precio. Fue una comida abundante y abundante. Sabroso y bien cocinado.De hecho, no comimos postre simplemente porque estábamos llenos y lo hubiéramos estado forzando.Estaría encantado de recomendar este lugar.

Visited the crown as a group of 8 last night. The food was excellant and such good value for money. The landlord and landlady were brilliant and couldnt do enough for us. We will definately be going again.

Después de un paseo por el valle de Rother decidimos ver si podíamos almorzar el domingo en un pub que acepta perros, buscamos en Google bares cercanos y hey presto. . descubrimos este fabuloso lugar! Las impresiones de 1 calle de cuando llamé para ver si podían encajarnos eran excelentes, tan cálidas y amables por teléfono, esto continuó cuando llegamos, gente tan maravillosa y el pub en sí también tiene un ambiente encantador, ahora en el comida - creo que una palabra lo resume ¡Delicioso! Fabuloso almuerzo de domingo hecho en casa a un precio excelente, así que me alegro de haber encontrado este lugar encantador y definitivamente volveremos!

La comida aquí está fuera de este mundo. Éramos una familia de seis, el propietario no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros, nos hicieron sentir tan bienvenidos tan pronto como entramos. Todo el personal fue increíble, muy amable. Recomendamos encarecidamente el Crown Inn. "Volveremos" ? ¡Gracias a todos por su hospitalidad!

Reservé en la mesa aquí para el almuerzo del domingo para un grupo familiar de 6 con mi madre en una silla de ruedas. No podrían haber sido más complacientes. Fantástico servicio y excelente comida. Mucho mejor valor que otros lugares en Sheffield. Salón amplio y luminoso con ventiladores en el techo para el día caluroso. ¡Definitivamente vamos a estar de vuelta!

Una vez más, tenemos que volver a este diamante de un pub. Siempre buena cerveza siempre buena comida. Tuve ofertas especiales de carne salteado de carne. Delicioso. Sue tenía su pescado favorito y papas fritas. Buen ambiente limpio y siempre una cálida bienvenida. Asistimos aquí tan a menudo que se siente como ir a casa! ! Gracias de nuevo Roger y equipo. Disfrutamos de una buena comida aquí hoy. Acogedor anfitrión y buen servicio. Teníamos un plato de cóctel de gambas / y mi compañero tenía sopa ambos eran muy buenos. No te sirvas un asado, así que las porciones son limitadas. Quizás no sea suficiente para los grandes comedores, pero es adecuado para nosotros. Buen precio para una buena comida.

Tuve una comida especial de tablero de chuletas de cordero acuñadas. Sue tenía el fish & chips que dice que tiene la mejor relación calidad-precio en el área local. Ambos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas y, como de costumbre, estaban bien atendidos por un personal alegre. Este comedor debe estar lleno cada vez que la comida. Una buena pinta de John Smiths ayuda a que la comida baje muy bien. El uso de la tarjeta de fidelidad da aún mejor valor. Como de costumbre volveremos más pronto que tarde. Gracias Roger y equipo.

We are regulars at this villaage pub & always get value for money & tasty food along with well kept beers. Clean eaterie & very pleasant staff who make all feel welcome. Thank you once again Roger & team.

We visited the Crown in Killamarsh on Friday evening 14th Sept 2018 after some friends recommended it. Wow....we weren't disappointed. The landlord was friendly with a cheery welcome as we walked in and were shown to our table in the dining area. The waitress too was smiling and cheerful and took our orders. As it was a Friday I decided on the 'hand battered cod' with 'hand cut chips' and mushy peas. My fear with fish and chips is that they will be greasy. I need not have worried the chips were nicely cooked as was the fish. The batter was crispy and tasted really good. The whole meal was completely grease free with generous portions .My friends also commented on the high quality of the food and we all agreed that this was the best 'pub food' in the area we had come across so far. We are regular visitors to local eating establishments and know the ones to avoid. So if you like to eat out on good old fashioned pub grub in nice ,clean friendly surroundings then I would highly recommend the Crown pub to you. We certainly will be eating here again. Well done to all the staff concerned.

The food here is of exceptional quality and is fantastic value for money. The pub is extremely well run, very clean and the staff are always friendly. Well worth turning off the main road in Killamarsh to find this gem next to the church.

Took father in law for a meal Saturday evening He and my wife had Chicken Foresteriere which they both really enjoyed The Broadside Beer went down well too Good food Good Service Good Value Good Beer What more is there to add

Mi esposa y yo fuimos ayer a The Crown a almorzar después de visitar la tumba de mi madre en el cementerio cercano, alrededor del 20º aniversario de su muerte. Tuvimos el Té Funeral en The Crown hace todos esos años, que es un buen recuerdo de una triste ocasión. Roger nos hizo sentir bienvenidos, nos preguntó si habíamos llegado lejos y fue muy eficiente y organizado. El pastel de carne, patatas fritas, guisantes blandos, salsa, pinta de piedra, y lasaña, ensalada, la mitad de sidra Old Rosie eran excelentes y lo disfrutamos mucho! El menú es extenso y todo a precios razonables. El pub está bien decorado y limpio. Definitivamente regresaré para una bebida / almuerzo nuevamente cuando esté cerca del pueblo.

Teníamos las patatas fritas de pescado y guisantes viernes por la noche y qué comida. Fue sustancial y muy sabroso. Servido por un joven que fue agradable y muy amable. Muy limpio en todo. Asientos cómodos. Buena pinta de John Smiths y es por eso que volvemos una vez más. Gracias Roger por una buena noche.

Disfrutamos del placer de las comidas regulares en este antiguo pub del pueblo. Comida de muy buena calidad a precios muy razonables. Servicio alegre y limpio en todo. La parrillada mixta es mi favorita, aunque el pescado y las patatas fritas del viernes es un poco duro. También hay una tarjeta de lealtad disponible que ofrece un valor extra por el dinero. Great food & staff. Updated decor looks very good. Easy to get to in pretty village surroundings also has a nice beer garden with swings for kids

We had a two course meal that was well presented & tasty. Very clean establishment & a credit to the management. A warm welcome & a well kept pint of John Smiths. What else could you want?? Thank you - will visit again in the near future. Recommend booking if travelling a fair distance.

We stayed there overnight in our motorhome so we could get a Van Comfort cover made the next morning. We were made extremely welcome. The food was excellent along with the service and the Guiness was just like home, as i come from Ireland

Sólo tenía el pescado y patatas fritas más decepcionante para bastante tiempo. Más de una hora y ahora probamos con menta y gomas vino pero todavía no pude sacudir el sabor persistente de aceite de cocina. Contra mis instintos mejor hice un par de patatas fritas pálido flojo. Recuerdo pensando "que no son frías y correosos" estaba equivocado. El personal era encantador. Consiguen 2/5 PORQUE ME GUSTÓ las fotos en la pared que alzó un poco. Decoración grayge

Nunca habíamos estado aquí antes y cuando fuimos no creo que fue para nosotros, sin embargo, nos alojamos y nos sorprendió gratamente. El personal era amable, y aunque estaba vacío cuando llegamos pronto empezaron a llenar. Mi marido tenía el pescado y patatas fritas y mirando alrededor parecía ser su plato más popular. Realmente lo disfruté. El resto de nosotros había carne que era normal. Un poco más preparado para mí, l pedido de tamaño raro y fue más bien de tamaño, pero era lo suficientemente bueno y buena relación calidad-precio para lo que era. No volvería para una cena especial, pero para un té informal temprano yo y me voy con el flujo y tienen el pescado y las patatas fritas!

Este es un lugar para comer local y nunca ha fallado en entregar comida de buena calidad a un precio estupendo. La oferta de vinos es difícil de superar, una botella de vino cuando compras 5 libras 2 comidas de menús especificados. Un montón de...

Éramos un grupo reservado previamente explorando el Chesterfield Canal; cenamos en un cuarto ventilado cómodas, disfrutamos de nuestra comida y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos por el propietario y sus colegas.

A sizeable group of us had an excellent lunch here on April 2nd. The Crown took a bit of finding, and we had to wait some time for the meal (a roomful all at once is a tall order) but it was the best value for money I have encountered for a long time. I had what I would describe as Hunter's Chicken, and it was delicious. Unless you have a big appetite it's worth taking a doggy bag with you - the second half of my chicken is now in the freezer awaiting future enjoyment! Recommended.

First time we have eaten at the crown and it won't be the last. Great home cooked food,hot well presented,great service and definitely value for money. The mixed grill was amazing. Good wine too

Visited the Crown to try the food. Great selection of pub food and very reasonably priced. A good selection of beer including ales. Definitely worth making a regular place to eat.

A great selection of proper pub food. Sensible sized menu with dishes cooked fresh. The Crown must have a good butcher-all the meats on the mixed grill were great! The steaks were cooked as requested. The onion rings are fantastic. The Crown has some special nights e.g. Curry. Read the menu before you order-some drinks are on offer when ordered with a meal! Fabulous value and delicious food.
