Service was excellent as usual .

Met a few friends for lunch here, and so glad I did. Lovely restaurant. Staff are friendly and nice atmosphere. Foo was fabulous.

Been here a few times when visiting Selsey, really nice friendly staff, good food that's reasonably priced.

Came for roast dinner .we were a bit late to be honest but the portion was very small not that hot .but the service was ok .probably wouldn't go back again for dinner

Very enjoyable lunch today and best of all real Coca-Cola at last a decent pub, made so welcome we will be back would like to be there Christmas eve looking forward to that.

We went on Thursday pm The staff were friendly, but whilst the menu was varied, the quality is average at best Chicken Curry and rice, just above a microwave standard Fish and chips, chips, and mushy peas were nice, fish was double fried/ over cooked and a thin piece of cod in side that lacked flavour I had the pork ribs, and the sauce was heavy and very sweet. The meat itself was too fatty Free pool is a real plus and not over priced I'd come back for a drink and poolbut the food was not up to gastro-pub standard

Food portions a bit on the small side in my opinion for the price. I didn't have a burger but people I was with did and they looked and was told they were very tasty but like I said the portion of chips which came with them seem very small compared to other places nearby. Staff and service very friendly and great outdoor settings

Sat outside and had drinks,would have liked food but it was very busy so bit of a wait.Nice place,friendly staff .

Ordered a roast as roasts served from 12 - 6 . No roast potatoes. Ordered the pie (new forest pie) was a little black on top and he filling was cold and congealed. Mash was not proper mash. Was smash, which was disgusting meant to be served with Gravy but had to wait for 10 minutes for the bisto lumpy Gravy. Very expensive, poor quality. Poor service at the bar and delivery of food. Will not be returning. Very disappointing

Good atmosphere stsff were quick in taking the order Unfortunatly the pie was not great over cooked and dry was asked if i wanted gravy which never arrived so a very disapointing meal. On the plus side the ribs were very good lots of meat, again cpuld do with a bit more sauce but good value for the ribs Dog freindly will try again could just be a bad evening.

Had great hopes for this place. Great staff, warm and friendly. Took a seat in the 'stables'. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Promising menu. Unfortunately the pies we ordered were nuked to death and half of mine was rock hard. Even the dog had trouble eating it. Such a shame.

Visited as a family of 6 on Saturday, 9th September, sat in the beer garden, we did, however, use the facilities, which were very clean. Friendly staff, food, and drink were great, and as was the price. Would visit again and highly recommend

Nice pub, friendly staff and delicious food, the burgers are really tasty. Plenty of parking in the pay and display at the back which is free after 6pm.

Not visited this pub before but was searching for a pub roast in selsey on Sunday. The pub boasts a huge rear garden with booths there were plenty avaliable even though the football was on. Staff were extremely friendly which was nice. Atmosphere was fine not too loud even though the game was on. Kids play park is a very nice touch as its all gated. We both had the roast beef which we were told was fresh and it was yes just not the greatest of quality meat but cooked nicely enough although plenty of veg potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and at £15.60 per person we thought that was very reasonable as some gastro pubs you can pay from £20/£30 per adult. Great selection of lagers and plenty of diffrent gin to the wife's taste. Would we re visit I'd say yes for sure. Just for the fact the staff were so nice. If your in selsey give this a try. Side note the carpark is a little further on behind the pub which is pay and display but free on Sundays.

This pub is worth a visit if you are at sealbay Resort and you would like to have a change from BBQ food and camping food. I had the black and blue sirloin, cooked mr (a little under, but I don't mind). Still a very nice meal.

Friendly staff we had the The Crown Burger,Black and Blue Burger 🍔 very good cooked to perfection 😁 definitely worth a visit.

Popped in here with my family who were down visiting me. I have to say it’s a real treat to have such a gem on my doorstep. After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical about the food but I have to say it’s absolutely phenomenal. I’m not sure if the other reviewers were expecting Michelin Star quality but this is really high quality pub food with a wide variety, which these days is rare. My daughter and son in law took advantage of the two for one cocktail’s and said that they were delicious, I stuck to my staple of Doombar but it was a lovely pint. Keep up the good work, we’ll definitely be returning

Food not brilliant especially if you have salad. All leaf and very little else. Choice of drinks limited. Very much a younger person pub.

Friendly atmosphere but food very disappointing. The fish was overcooked and very dry and the chips most unappetising. Just warmed up fries. Not to be recommended

Nice lite meal of english breakfast and spicy/sweet chicken wings. Sausage a bit on the black side but fine in the middle. Helpful, friendly staff and nice outdoor area close to High Street.

Been here tons of time very friendly staff great food big car park at the rear which leads to the beer garden. Will definitely be going again 👍

Good pub, good service, great screens for football, really well poured pints of Guinness. It’s family and food oriented, it’s noisy it’s chaotic, but it’s decent. If you’re expecting a quiet pub this is not the one for you!

Brilliant pub! Together with some friends (and a sausage dog called Ralph), I've been staying at a nearby campsite. Unfortunately, they don't allow dogs into their various bars and restaurants so we decided to find somewhere local that does. A quick google search revealed The Crown Inn to be dog-friendly so we went for lunch. The decor is quirky but fun and the barman who served us was really friendly. We had a few pints and a meal which was pleasant. The barman lit the fire and we were tempted to stay for another pint but the designated driver wanted to head back so we had to go. Well worth a visit.

Lovely pub , I had booked for Sunday lunch a long time ago as I had booked to take my elderly mum to seal bay , not realising the date coincided with mother's day . We also had my mums dog with us . The manager was fantastic , he had allowed us to have our meal in the resturant as my mum would have been unable to sit in the bar area due to the height of the chairs . Thankyou so much for making our lunch possible. The food was amazing too

Amazing!!! Just been here for a family meal. There were 3 adults and 2 children. The food was outstanding! Highly recommend the Big Daddy burger! James was our waiter, who couldn't have done more. Very friendly atmosphere and all staff happy to help. Free pool and a great choice of food and drink!

Popped in here on a Monday night as first night staying in the area. Family of four and we had kids ham, egg and chips, Kids chicken nuggets & chips Adult ham, egg and chips And the daddy burger. Food was cooked fast and fresh and was very tasty. Four clean plates went back. Great value, great service, so well worth a visit for a quick dinner.

Stayed for a long weekend in Selsey & four of us booked in for Sunday lunch in this dog friendly pub. We were greeted warmly and food and drinks order taken quickly. Sunday roast was epic and very reasonably priced. All members of staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.

Mischarging octogenarians is unforgivable. The wait for food, half empty, was one hour plus. The decor was great and a free Sunday local authority car park to the rear is handy. That said, we all enjoyed our drinks at the end of the day.

Visited the Crown Inn this evening for a meal and few drinks, 2 adults and kids (17 & 12). The bar itself has a welcoming feel with great decor and has a large beer garden which looked nice. Staff were really friendly and were more than accomodating when I advised of food intollerances. We all enjoyed our meals and would highly reccomend if you are in the area

Think they were short staffed when I went had to wait an hour for.dinner and.when it came out it was.cold.also yorkshire pudding was cold.also went to order my daughter a dessert and they said.it would. Still be an hour wait

Food was banging and large portions, outside space was amazing, and a little play area for the kids too! We didn't go inside apart from to order and use the toilet but there was a pool table inside too (inside was a tad on the small side, so had there not been outdoor seating it would have been VERY cramped!). Only thing I would've wished for was an online ordering system so I didn't have to stay outside by myself with the kids when my husband went in to order food and drink. Overall experience was fantastic in the outdoor setting though, will be returning LOTS on our holidays if it stays to this standard! A MUST to visit! I'm actually going to have to book a weekend holiday just to come back for the homemade roast I think! Haha Me and my husband shared the American burger (added hallumi) and the seafood platter, Brioche bun made me SUPER happy, such a good touch to finish a fantastic burger! All the seafood was incredible! My daughter and her friend had the all day brunch which looked amazing! And my friend had the big daddy burger and shared a different platter with her husband. It all looked amazing! Lots of effort put into the food even though we ordered not 20mins from last orders! Super impressed!

We came here looking for food while holidaying in the local park. Easily the best meal we had all week. The staff were really friendly. The didn't take too long to come and when it did it was beautiful really tasty and was really good value. After we went round the bar side with the kids to play pool. It was really nice, welcoming and relaxing. Great

This isn't the same Crown I remember from growing up. Clean, friendly, fantastic seating area out back - well done. Food was amazing too - my new spot when I'm visiting family from across the pond.

Lovely food. Went the extra mile for my daughter and prepared her a beaded chicken fillet burger. All other meals were fantastic. Top notch service.

Came to Selsey for a local holiday for 6 days and visited here for dinner. Despite the fact that I've been to Selsey many times I've never been here. It's a good pub serving a brilliant seafood platter! The dessert was good too. Only £5 which for the size is very good. Also 2 for 1 on cocktails all day every day is a big bonus. I'll admit the cocktails weren't mind blowing but compared to some other places that I had been to for cocktails they were good. The staff were also good. Only issue is that the toilets are tiny. Apart from that though I had a good experience. By the way I love the decorated stables outside. Very unique and pretty too!

Lovely food ( and plenty of it, big portions) , lots of outdoor space , under cover benches and open air benches and have like little closed in hut type buildings which look very cosy. Also have kids play area. Highly recommended

Friendly locals and good food. Dropped into the pub up the road from our B&B for a couple of beers and dinner. This was a cycle trip raising money by visiting all the Lifeboat Stations in GB, and the locals donated to our cause. Good pub, which turned into a night club after 10pm.

Really nice pub, well decorated inside and out, really nice staff, super sunday roast (beef, pork, or veg options). Big pathed garden, let dogs in the the garden, but not grass anywhere near. Parking directly behind, pay and display.
