Dans Soho, pub recommandable mais sans saveur à qui il manque cette petite touche Britannique. Musique insipide, trop forte pour converser et une carte très basique. Cleptomanes inside donc attention à vos sacs.

We visited this pub for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. There is a traditional downstairs pub area and also a bar upstairs. We sat upstairs and ordered the roast beef. Being served quite quickly, the roast beef was perfect with a beautiful red wine based gravy, seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. There is an excellent wine menu here and a wide range of other drinks. This is a great pub and attracts a lovely young crowd. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. …..Also, you need to book for the Sunday lunch!!!! I will return soon!

The roast was so disappointing. The beef was extremely dry - we asked for it to be pink in the middle and was told it would come as is. We had two very small slices that were bone dry and fibrous. The potatoes were dry, squishy and looked like they were from yesterday as they had brown and grey spots all over them. The Yorkshire was deflated and dry and they gave us all a mountain of carrots to make up for an otherwise awful meal. The cauliflower cheese was not cheesy and was mushy and flavourless. The Bloody Mary was watery and had no salt, pepper, celery or pickles. I don’t mind paying London prices for a toast if it’s worth it but this was daylight robbery for a terrible meal. So confused as the photos look entirely different from what we were given.

Absolutely disgusting beef roast that needed get sent back. The beef was the toughest and most overcooked beef I’ve ever had on a roast dinner. To be fair they refunded me immediately and I’m assuming that’s because they’re used to the complaints. Fur almost £21 for a roast you expect better. I commented to the server when it arrived within 60 seconds of ordering that ‘this was the quickest I’ve ever been served in a pub’, he said, you’ve just caught lucky - we’re usually super busy!!! Clearly that wasn’t the case. They serve it with the smallest pot of red wine jus. The roast potato’s are canned roast potatoes that are undercooked. The Yorkshire pudding was raw. Total disappointment. When I spoke to them about this the bar guy said that it’s because of the quality of beef they had delivered and it’s not their fault 🤦‍♂️. Except they still were happy to serve it to a paying customer. Also no excuse for the other ingredients like the raw cabbage, the tinned potato that had been roasted. Complete disgrace for a central London venue. Quite honestly I’d rather waste my money on a Wetherspoons roast and I’m sure the quality would be better. Shame on this pub for allowing such bad food to be served.

A nice traditional pub which is spacious and has good tables for large groups. Decent enough range of drinks served by friendly staff behind the the bar. The lunch time menu has a reasonably priced choice of sandwiches including a drink, which was served quickly and presented well enough, but the fish goujon option was a little disappointing with hardly any fish actually inside. A good atmosphere though and a nice option for a relaxing drink in the area.

Really nice food. Attentive service, nice atmosphere. Sausage and mash was excellent, drinks were good. Guinness was well kept and good selection of spirits.

Very nice environment with some lovely staff working. The area is also very lively.Everyone is really friendly and available. They payed closed attention to me and my friends making sure we were satisfied with the service. Love coming here whenever there is a football match or any kind of match as they can handle big crowds very well. I also come every Sunday now since they have live music playing. A specific thank you to Mara who has been so welcoming and always smiling. I came in with my dog and she was so nice and offered a drink for my furry friend.

First time visit to link up with some old pals before lunch. Atmospheric old pub on a corner location in Dean Street. Worth a visit, will return when in Soho.

I've always received a warm welcome at this pub when I just dropped in for a quick drink over the past year so I thought I'd try out the lunch menu with a few friends. The start of our day was terminated due to a fire alarm at the National Portait Gallery. We all had to leave the building, so headed to Soho and arrived early at The Crown & Two Chairmen. No problem our table was ready and we were able to relax eventually; the service and food here rescued our day. It has a great atmosphere and I thought the food was exceptional. I had the turkey and smoked ham pie which was a proper pie, delicious with extra gravy on the side. The order for the apple and black current crumble was lost for some problem with the tech however it was quickly rectified, it was absolutely delightful, not too heavy and a tarty kick from the apples was appreciated; I'll ask for more custard next time but it was well worth waiting for. I thought the wine (a South African Chenin Blanc) was superb, reasonable prices for central London. I forgot to ask our server's name but they were very attentive and looked after us very well indeed. We shall return soon.

Had a fantastic sharing plate lunch and gorgeous blackberry old fashioned and some delicious wine. Lovely pub dog kept us company and lady who looks after her, Mara? was great!

Great pub in soho. Impressed with selection of craft beer, and gin selection. Had some bar snacks, their 3 for £16 and it came out on the wooden board which looked amazing to share with my friends! The food was delicious too. I will definitely be back again!

It was a great pub and restaurant. The ingredients were of excellent quality and tasted like it was made from scratch. The flavors were balanced, delicious, and had great creative/culinary elements!! The presentation was very good as well. I also tried my first NA Guinness - excellent!! I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Highly recommended for a traditional English meal!!

We came here on the Sunday of the coronation weekend . I had the half roast chicken Sunday dinner and it gorgeous! I’m a northerner so I need loads of gravy on my dinner and usually I feel embarrassed asking for more wherever I go but they were very nice here when I ask for a ton of gravy . It was red wine gravy as well and was delicious. My chicken was beautiful as were my veggies and big Yorkshire pudding . My partner had a burger which he loved . I have to say the guy who served our table and worked the bar was fantastic, ( I didn’t catch his name but he was Scottish if that helps ) he was really friendly and had a lovely manner about him which I’m sorry to say , I don’t see much of in London pubs . I can’t wait to go back to this pub in the future to have Sunday lunch . Also very cute is the resident dog who wanders around being super adorable ! Highly recommended

Place is as nice as ever with all the hustle and bustle. Craig is as lovely as ever and the cornerstone of this great pub.

I cannot express how amazing the food at this pub was. My husband had the 21 day aged beef roast and it tasted fantastic, well seasoned, well cooked and full of flavour. I had the salad bowl which was delicious. It was so good we ordered desserts which didn't let them down at all. We usually end up at some generic chain restaurant in town but never again.Lovely friendly staff, fast service, the other customers were friendly as well.All in all a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere.

I’ve always loved c&2c but wanted to write as they have handled the new restrictions brilliantly. We were 4 but then changed to 6 last minute and they went out of their way to accommodate. Great drinks, great atmosphere and hot staff 🙂

I visited this great pub with my husband and 3 kids for lunch. It has a great atmosphere and it felt very chilled and we felt reassured that all covid safe guidelines were in place. Lovely staff too.

Visiting friends in London, we was told to visit this bar in SoHo! So glad we did great service,great food & spotlessly clean. Even had the pleasure of meeting Max the dog! I’ll definitely be back when I’m London.

Funny times to be out and about. Within my social bubble in Soho. Looking for a good boozer. For a substantial meal plus a glass of wine. Sat outside. Food was good. Fresh. Well cooked. Dan who was front of house and sorting everything for all punters was superb. Spot on with all rules and regs concerning present health restrictions. Calm knowledgeable and kind. Helpful. Friendly. And so very good at hospitality with a huge customer focused ethos. Felt so considered and safe at this cracking boozer. Despite all the constraints and uncertainty in this ever changing situation we are all in he managed to make our early evening so lovely. It’s people like him and with his attitude and concern towards his customers that at the moment keeps us and everything going. And to keep our morale high, and helping “ normalise” the strange things we have to do at the present. Fab experience. Brewery please not the high calibre of staff like Dan. Dedicated and hard working. Def included in vital worker status. For really where would we all be without a decent pub. And top notch hospitality workers??

Great local-feeling pub in the heart of Soho. It’s a great pub on the corner, with seating around the outside. People always have a great time here, and it is my first choice when I’m in the area. The manager has been there a long time, and it shows in the consistency of great value and service you get every time. Brilliant pub, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Si te gustan los perros (a mí no), entonces el perro errante del pub te atraerá, pero pude ignorarlo. Aparte de eso, este es un buen espacio para sentarse y tomar una copa tranquilamente. No es una buena noticia para ellos (debido a la falta de clientes los martes a la hora del almuerzo), pero personalmente disfruté de mi cerveza aquí, lo cual fue una sorpresa ya que recuerdo este lugar como un pub lleno de gente y bastante sucio, aunque hace algunos años que no estuve aquí. . Ahora, es un lugar moderno, limpio y amigable de observación de Covid al que estoy seguro de que encontraré el camino de regreso.

My friend and I came in for some food and a drink after work and were really happy with the service. It's a busy London pub in the heart of Soho but the speed and efficiency of service of both food and drinks were excellent. I ordered the Burger Day Pork Burger and it was delicious! My friend ordered the fish and chips which she would also thoroughly recommend! The staff are really friendly and helpful would highly recommend this pub for food and drinks!

I stopped off here for lunch after frantically researching pubs which offer well-reviewed roasts and the Crown and Two Chairmen was mentioned several times. I booked a table and I arrived with a rather special person in tow. The interior was cosy, a little dark but very pubbish and that's never a bad thing. There were a good selection of beers on the draft and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the chicken roast and it took a little while to arrive but boy did it deliver. There were several plates of food with an extra dish of veg, two giant yorkshire puddings, lotsss of chicken and probably the best gravy i've had in a long time. The flavours were excellent and the menu was fairly priced, particularly given the area (Soho). The staff also kindly delivered more gravy to our table without any qualms and little extras like that add to the experience. Special shout out to Max the dog who lounged around the pub area and added to the ambience. He was polite and friendly and a dog like that is always welcome. Now back to the food. We opted for a shared dessert of chocolate brownie (yawn right?) but it was pretty good, quite possibly microwaved but still pretty good. Overall I would recommend chooisng the Crown and Two Chairmen for a Sunday roast as it ticks virtually all the boxes and makes for an excellent vanue just a few minutes walk from Picadilly Circus. When you visit say hi to Max for me :)

We booked the upstairs bar at the Crown and Two for my partner's 50th birthday party and it was a super venue. The staff were helpful, friendly, attentive and organised. Shout out to Jamie for doing a great job keeping us hydrated all night! The buffet / finger food came out on time and was yummy. It was a great room size for 45-50 people although I'm sure it could be easily configured for more. We were able to play our own music through the sound system. The whole thing was just ... very easy. No stress. The function room itself is a great space, lots of fairy lights, its own bar and they were happy for us to decorate it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Crown and Two for a party - central location in Soho, fab upstairs bar, lovely staff, all in all super value. Thank you guys!

Four of us had an excellent meal and drinks in this Soho classic pub. Friendly & efficient service, delicious food, great range of drinks on offer and the cutest pub dog! Highly recommend for a great night out.

Amplo e agradável, achei o pub bem normal. É bem frequentado, mas sempre parece ter espaço pra todos, embora não seja dos mais confortáveis (bancos e mesas altas). As vezes fica lotado no balcão, pra pedir pint, mas nada exagerado. Música fica em segundo plano, e parece ser um pub mais pra tomar uns pints, ir em turma e jantar, mas não pra curtir uma boa música bebendo.

Nice pub with decent music. Prices not too bad for west end, could do with more seats though as seating was limited and after we had our drinks we left. Had there been more seating we would've stayed longer and drank more!

Booked a table for lunch on Saturday. Booking process was straightforward. I had booked the table for 3 hours but stayed longer with no issue. The table was located downstairs in the bar area which suited us. We ordered a selection of bar snacks from the menu and also some mains. Waiting time for the food was minimum, the food was well presented, hot and really tasty. The pub was quiet to start but got busier as you would expect from the location however getting served at the bar wasn't an issue. I would definitely recommend as a place for decent food and an unpretentious drinking spot in the heart of Soho.

Tuvimos tiempo de matar porque uno de nosotros se retrasó, necesitábamos una pinta decente en un espacio que sentían como un pub. [También estábamos buscando un enchufe discreto donde pudiéramos cargar un teléfono que se estaba muriendo peligrosamente rápido].Este pub de la esquina (la mayoría está por aquí) resultó ser acogedor, bullicioso, con mucha gente en las mesas y en las áreas de pie. La barra de las curvas y las esquinas con muchos adornos y accesorios de tipo pub sin piezas de época enfermizas o pretenciosas. Fue relajado y justo lo que necesitábamos.

Disfruté dos pintas de Guinness y dos vasos de Merlot, pero llena el dispensador de jabón en el inodoro y arregla el secador de manos. Es vergonzoso ver cuándo en compañía de nuestros visitantes europeos.

A short walk off Oxford Street, the staff here was very welcoming late afternoon and were quick to assure me that Max, the pub dog, would be returning very shortly. Max, himself, was not all that impressed when I told him I had come all the way from America to meet him, but was still very friendly. I can't comment on the beer, but my burger was delicious -- it must be the Barber's cheddar! The Crown and Two Chairmen is now on my London "must go" list. Thanks for an enjoyable experience!

I can't comment on any other time, as I only seem to visit this pub on a Sunday afternoon. The Sunday roasts seem very popular but what I love is their nut roast. Lots of pubs offer a veggie option but rarely, a traditional roast dinner. A huge plate of food (which I'm yet to finish!) including roast potatoes, lots of veg, a homemade Yorkshire pudding and delicious, onion gravy. Well worth a visit if you're bored of being offered the same old veg lasagne, etc when your friends are tucking into a traditional Sunday dinner.

Had lunch with family. Nothing special: average pub food, average prices, average staff. There are better alternatives in the area.

Great pub in Soho, nice for just drinks or the food is very good. They have one of the best Sunday roasts, the whole chicken to share, amazing value and always delicious, would definitely recommend if you're hungry and want a great roast dinner

My husband, son (aged 10) and I visited The Crown and Two Chairman at lunchtime today. We were looking for a doggy Friendly pub for comfortable pit stop and we were not disappointed; the food was incredible, the best pub food I’ve tasted in a while. Highly recommend the sausages and mash plus side order of the most delicious onion rings ever. Our large dog, felt instantly at home and the staff were very friendly. We’ll definitely be going back. The Crown and Chairmen on Dean Street is a good, central spot for pre dinner drinks. Cosy atmosphere with friendly staff and real ale in excellent condition. The magnetic scrabble letters on a board are a nice touch too!

We came here as a big group and reserved two tables and the staff was very accommodating about putting them together to form a one big table. We got lots of finger food which was all very tasty. The beer selection was decent too! If you're looking for a pub in central London, you could definitely do a lot worse.

Almorzamos aquí - un amigo tenía alitas de pollo, otro el calamar y yo teníamos morralla; todos tienen un pulgar hacia arriba. Todos teníamos el pescado y las papas fritas, ¿con papas fritas triples? ñam Pudimos quedarnos en nuestra mesa la mayor parte de la tarde, ya que era gratis hasta la noche. NB para un sábado a mediodía, recomendaría reservar una mesa.

Solo tuve una pinta, así que honestamente no puedo decir "excelente" en la reseña, pero lo que vi de los aperitivos del pub se veía bien y la selección de cerveza era bastante buena. El personal era amable e informativo. Pequeño patio perimetral como algunos de los otros pubs de la zona. Es bueno si quieres estar afuera con tu bebida. También hay una habitación en el piso de arriba, si está llena, pero yo no subí. Muchedumbre fresca, interesante y diversa, pero no llena de incómodo. Pub propio digno de una visita. Notable: ¿tuvieron una colaboración de Stone Brewing que fue encantadora?

Nos encontramos en este pub sin reserva un domingo y afortunadamente nos sirvieron rápidamente. Estábamos deseando un buen almuerzo asado, pero estaba un poco decepcionado con las opciones de elección de asado. El pollo solo se puede pedir para compartir ya que viene en trozos. Estaría bien si estuviera disponible por persona también.

Come here for Sunday lunch, the roasts were great and staff friendly. The roasts come up almost immediately after ordering. The place is big and airy so great for my dog not to get in peoples way, there is a pub dog that rooms the bar.

Nice big pub. We booked Sunday lunch for 4 of us,was not very impressed with the food and the worse thing was they had a big dog that kept coming over .you don't want a dog sat there when your trying to eat and the dog did smell.

I met a friend who was emigrating to Australia, the atmosphere was rather quaint and euphoric. I was hungry I wanted the Sunday Roast, that I did have and I was not disappointed.

Love this pub, especially on a Sunday lunchtime as it just has 'locals' and has a great atmosphere and sweet staff... until yesterday. All the above still apply but lunch was really pretty awful. Maybe we should have stuck to the roasts as they looked good on the next table, but we had a v small portion of risotto (which looked washed out) and was luke warm. Overcooked and v badly presented lasagne, a passable, though thin burger, and probably the worst fried squid I've ever had. Had to send my expresso back! Cold and tasted like they has forgotten to put coffee in. What happened?

Encantador y pintoresco pub con algunos asientos en el exterior.

Hemos estado aquí muchas veces, aunque no por unos pocos años. Sigue siendo muy bueno, el personal servicial y amable, aún sigue siendo variada y correctamente la cerveza se sirve. Buen pub - grub, gran ambiente y una multitud alegre aparentemente en todo momento. Siempre son un punto de parar aquí un momento o dos cuando en la zona de soho, y seguiremos haciéndolo.

Este es un muy agradable pub en el Soho. Es un poco peculiar en comparación con su tradicional pub inglés que esperaría desde el exterior. Cócteles, personal yum divertido y amistoso. Es agradable tener un lugar como este en soho especialmente como la seguridad era tan encantador. Recomiendo encarecidamente!

Metimos en aquí para el almuerzo y descubrimos que el menú era bastante bueno y sencillo (pubs normalmente tienen mucho por allí). Esto fue un cambio refrescante para nosotros. Había suficiente variedad, incluso una opción de menú vegetariano y realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida y bebidas. Si las comidas son hecho así como las nuestras nos encantaría recomendar este lugar a todos los viajeros que buscan un lugar para descansar sus pies y recuperarse.

No turístico, a pesar de la remota ubicación. Muchos felices clientes habituales y visitantes, con un ambiente agradable y animado cuando llamé para una rápida pinta antes de ir a a la vuelta de ronnie Scott's de la esquina. Buena selección de artesanías cervezas ale y lager. No esta vez, pero en otro tiempo, a juzgar por los comentarios positivos por la comida aquí. No es un gran pub, pero una simpática.

Have been here twice now since Christmas and happy to say both times, we’ve had a delicious (great portion sizes) both times. Added to really friendly staff, nice buzzy atmosphere and a great selection of drinks, makes it one of my fave London pubs.

I took my dad and a few of his colleagues who were visiting London from Korea. If you're looking for a classic British pub in central London, you probably can't do much better than this. The bar staff when we went seemed a bit new so it took a while to make our order but it wasn't a big deal at all. The food is pretty decent standard pub fare (fish and chips, burgers, pies, etc) and the selection of beers is not bad for a pub of its size. It got pretty busy soon after we got there so definitely worth booking ahead!!

Stylish pub with cuisine in Soho district. Unobtrusive and non-formal service, fair cuisine (we had Fish & Chips and Mushroom risotto, both very tasty and for reasonable price) with a fairly wide offer of drinks and especially British and international beers and mainly with vibrant atmosphere.

Visited with friends for a Sunday roast in the rain. Service was a little slow however it was busy. We had the chicken, beef and nut roasts and they were all incredible! Reasonably priced too!

A girlfriend celebrated her birthday tonight and we had the upstairs pretty much to ourselves which was great! There’s a small bar up here but closes at 10pm after which we have to order our drinks from downstairs.

We were having a nostalgic walk thru Soho when we came upon this nice pub, the menu displayed outside showed good food at reasonable prices and a placard offering hot mulled spiced cider. That was the clincher. We went upstairs to the dining room which was quieter than the bar on the ground floor. There were a few festive parties at the other tables, a Skinny Santa even made an appearance that scared the life out of one little fella at the table. The service was good and the food was very tasty and very generous helpings, there was no problem with a request to change a menu item to deal with allergies. The place was nicely decorated as well.

Went here towards the end of a night out with a few work colleagues. Everything was fine with the atmosphere pretty good and the drinks reasonable until someone in our party accidentally knocked over a glass of water we had on the table we were sharing. A young lady from the bar duly came out a few minutes later to sweep up the mess. A member of our party offered to help (as we had made the mess), and took the dustpan and brush and swept up the broken glass and then passed it back to the member of bar staff.

Finding a Soho pub with both atmosphere and decent beer is quite difficult, but this place fits the bill. Not overly 'done up' it preserves the traditional English pub with good beer and food. Well worth a visit before going to one of the local clubs.

Cute pub with fantastic staff. Food selection limited but just fine for a pub. Interesting selection of beers. Liked very much the cool atmosphere, nobody in a hurry and no need to rush anywhere.

I visited this pub for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. There is a traditional downstairs pub area and also a bar upstairs. We sat upstairs and ordered the roast beef.

Had a great catch up with friends yesterday & we were so pleased that they allow dogs in. What a lovely pub in the heart of soho, we will be back

If you just want a very reasonably priced roast dinner in central London then this place is a top choice. If you want to pay up, then go to Blacklock, or Hawksmoor or somewhere like that, but if you just wanna drop £20 per head for a Roast with a couple of beers then this is the one. Very nice.

Decent size inside means you are more likely to get a seat (relative to this forever-heaving part of town) and service was surprisingly quick.Didn't have food, and drinks were standard london prices. Lively pub.
