Friendly pub, watched some football in the afternoon there with our two young children. Selection of beer available. Evening is good too. Games available including Operation😬

Good local pub with craft beer on tap, promoting local breweries, like Drop Project. Decent paved beer garden. They show football on big screen. Pub quiz is fun. Recently, they've had more interesting beers on tap e.g. Verdant's Putty.

The Crown is one of our locals. We know it for its craft beers, good pizza, nice garden and wide range of sports on at any time. I feel we sometimes overlook it, as it’s on our doorstep, but it has so much to offer. Friday nights there’s a free shot and DJ, Thursday nights is board games and cocktails and my favourite, the Sunday night quiz. We visited just the 3 of us and the atmosphere was buzzing. Any later and we wouldn’t have got a table. Everyone was chatting and it was clear that there a sense of community in here, regular quiz goers and no-one taking themselves too seriously. Barney, the quiz master, is just brilliant. Everything from his humour to making sure he visits every table to engage with the teams. He had us in fits of laughter over the course of a couple of hours. It’s a great way to fill the pub on a Sunday night and we are planning to visit more often based on this experience alone.

I stayed one night after visited O2 which was easily accessible from the hotel, the staff was welcoming, the room was lovely and clean also the hotel is in a great area, highly recommended.

Great rooms. Fine bed, hot shower. Very friendly staff. Recommended. Take bus 188 (runs day and night) to the nearest underground.

Great place; staying in the rooms. Lovely room, comfy bed, clean and modern. Internet is great. Very friendly staff. 10% discount on food and drink for staying in the accommodation. The beer is cold. What more could you want?

Never had any food. Don't take cash. Probably won't go there again.

wow what a wonderful oasis hidden away, the room was fantastic and nothing had been missed off. slipped in for a cheeky pint on a Friday and had Vinally live with a drj and a screen showing the video on youtube. had a wonderful choice of beers on tap can thoroughly recommend the hepcat , just what is needed on a sticky summers night

This nugget of a pub is golden, they just need some music to block out the sound of the main rd outside. Pizza and chips were delicious. Beer on tap could be a little more varied, but the staff were so attentive and friendly that I don't feel I could complain about a lot really. Lovely pub, good food, friendly staff. Good atmosphere for a weekday!

This place is amazing. The crew is very kind, the pizza is delicious and the room is perfect. We had a great time here and the centre of London is not that far from here. I highly recommend to stay here if you're planning on visiting London. 🇭🇺: Ez a hely lenyűgöző volt. Az itt dolgozók mind kedvesek voltak, a pizza is finom volt és a szoba tökéletes. London centruma nincs messze a helytől, de a szállás környékén is érdemes sétálni egyet. Ha pár napot Londonban töltenél mindenképp ajánlom ezt a helyet. :)

The pizza there is a must, even if you're not hungry. If you're looking for pineapple on pizza change place, because it's they only make real pizza.

Good pint of Guinness lovely barstaff. Nice little boozer with a very good beer garden. Does not take cash card only.

Stayed in the hotel rooms, excellent service, clean and decent rooms and pleasant staff. Well done to all there.

Great accommodation. Three of us shared a large room overlooking the pretty church. Easy bus trip to O2 with directions from very helpful girl when dropping off bags. Highly recommend!!

Imagine being asked for an ID in the middle of the day, not even evening while being almost 25 and NOT even looking underage there's something wrong with the staff

Unhelpful barmaid. Asking an adult for ID to sell alcoholic drink, a person who is 22 and looks like 22 if not older, accompanied with a 40 year old lady. Still refused so sell us a drink. Who carries ID with them all the time? Won’t be coming back to this pub for sure!

Highly recommended stayed here over night room perfectly clean newly refurbished coffee machine in the room sweetie jar bonus. Had drinks and really good pizza in the bar downstairs included is a 10% discount for staying at the crown. Perfect place if you are going to the 02 bus stop 4 steps away from the crown which takes you to the 02 approx 10 mins

Nice pub with friendly service. Good range of keg beers but the cask selection could be better and the quality improved.

Great pub 5 out 5 but 14.4gbp for 2 beers is ridiculous. I sugest you to sip that beer slooooowly

We happened across this place having driven down from Milton Keynes with plans to drive back after an event at the O2. The staff could not have been more welcoming and promoted their offerings so well we decided to stay overnight in one of their lovely rooms. They even went to the trouble of providing toothbrushes/ toothpaste for us which is really going above and beyond ! Our experience at the O2 was a logistical nightmare because of issues with e-ticketing system, phones being locked away, bus not moving so having to walk back :( but our lasting memory is if this wonderful team managed by Vicky and including Sian and many others all demonstrating wonderful customer service. Totally recommend this place. Graham & Liz

All I can say is good things about this gem of a place, staff- 5☆, incredibly helpful and fun. Location- perfect for a visit to the capital for a break or business. Value- it's a steal!! . Food is quality pub pizzas, all allergies and ethics catered for. Last of all, The room, stylish, modern, nice touches with sweets, drinks and nice toiletries. These guys are a credit to the hospitality industry, and I will be planning another visit!!

What a great place!! Recently renovated rooms,high quality finish. Staff where very friendly and the pizzas tasted fantastic. Our venue was the O2 arena,only a short taxi ride. Will definitely use again 👍

Always have a good time in the crown, the staff are lovely as are the pizzas. It was a bit touch and go whether or not it would survive the pandemic but I'm glad it did. Has a fridge for cans you can pick one up on your way out as well. Very nice.

Stopped here on our way to the prime meridian. Really great atmosphere and the staff is so friendly that it just puts a smile on your face, the nachos were really good too.

A great atmosphere in The Crown and got a friendly, warm welcome from the bar staff on getting to the bar, where there's a good selection of beers available. There is also a menu to suit all tastes.

Fantastic pub! The pizza is great and the staff are so friendly. Will definitely come back for a visit next time I’m in the area!

Good selection of drinks , loving the refit .Great roast , but the daily menu needs to get back to the level it was at before .

Updated April 2023. Poor service, mediocre beer and short measures. Very disappointed.

Great little pub - maybe a bit rough around the edges, but that's the kind of boozer I like. Reguarly shows the football, never too rowdy when I've been in, and the staff are universally just friendly and lovely people that make you feel welcome. Great range of beer and pretty decent food too. Really nice local pub vibe.

One of the best pizzas and a very different range of beer on tap compared to the other pubs around.. it has to be my favourite neighbourhood pub!

Came to watch the football tonight ordered one of the pizzas which was cooked to perfection, the staff are so friendly and welcoming too, in particularly the lady in the black hoodie, highly recommend this pub, great atmosphere

Not sure what has happened to this pub, used to be my favourite in Greenwich with an outstanding beer selection both on draft and in fridge including strong stouts, DIPAs etc Now the selection is quite average with mostly middle of the road lagers and session IPAs I tried the cask ale and it was off They also used to update the beer list online but no longer bother Shame it's gone downhill massively

Me and my partner popped in just passing. they have a decent selection of craft beers I had a pint of larger which wasn't particularly cold and it was flat by the time we walked into the beer garden. Decent size beer garden but the furniture wasnt very comfortable and even got a splinter from the old weathered table lol 1 pint and a large wine 15 quid! Not good especially when it wasn't even cold or fizzy Bring back the table tennis table!

Looks dark and uninviting from the outside, and inside is a bit rough around the edges. However they do have a decent selection of craft beers and the outdoor space is nice in the afternoon sun.

Great pizza! Edit 2022: Giselle is an absolute heart if this place. She made my day after a hard day at work just by being simply lovely and by being herself. You can tell the staff likes her as well so well done for amazing crew that gets on and has the atmosphere on smash!

In recent years this pub has turned into the best in Greenwich. Excellent range of craft beer, a fantastic pub staff, all the sports, and decent pizza. An absolute gem since changing owners a few years ago, and my favourite pub in the area by a country mile.

They have the best drinks and food. I love to play Cluedo there definitely recommend playing it! But the people there are also so so so lovely! This one of the best pubs I've been to!

Visited Greenwich this weekend to go to the o2 arena and found this great pub with a great choice of craft beers and a lovely beer garden. Highly recommend to anyone in Greenwich.

Had the best time here for a 30th at the weekend. We hired out the shed to watch the sport and the staff let us decorate, held a cake for us in their fridge and were just so so lovely throughout! Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank youuuu!

Been here a few times over the years and latest landlord seems to have it sorted… Great selection of beers, plus a well ordered fridge !! Will be back.

Always have great and interesting beers on tap (definitely the best in the area). There's also a fridge full of awesome cans too, regularly pop in to grab a few takeaways when walking past.

Last night we were very sad to learn that the crown has changed hands. Pizzas were ok but nothing like they use to be and the service wasn't great. We won't go back. Sad to see another great place change hands for the worse....

Went here for a couple of drinks with friends and found their ordering app quite difficult to setup. Once setup ordering was easy and service was quick

Lovely local pub with excellent service

Great local with nice range of beers. Think previous pizzas may have been slightly better but still pretty good. These are more Northern Italian style with crispy base rather than thicker doughy type. Tasty!

Just superb here. Came on a Saturday lunch time to watch football on the outdoor garden screen. Didn't have a reservation and forgot my phone but they couldn't be more helpful. Found me a seat to watch the game in the nice garden area, which has a covered bit too. Great selection of beers, and just an overall lovely experience. Will I be back. 100%. If you are in main Greenwich area, worth the 10 minute walk down the road.

Medium price point for the area. Atmosphere is a bit hit or miss... but staff have super friendly 💪🏿🦄👍🏿
