The Crown in South Norfolk

The Crown is a proper pub, the landlord and lady are excellent hosts, the selection of Ales are varied and changed on a regular baises to provide a great selection. They provide function availability and the home cooked prepared food is execellent. The prices are great and its a friendly place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I would recomend it to every one. Its also family and dog friendly! Thank you The Crown.

Fantastic pub, great real ale, nice people, lovely landlord and lady.

Genuinely excellent all round experience...surely the landlords make a pub so to speak n they are such a lovely couple...I don't say much for their 'Bar security' dog...he looked at me over the bar, stared at me n started barking n wanted to come out to me, TAIL CONSTANTLY WAGGING 😀 An absolute cool little family. Locals in here are very welcoming. Be in for a few more pints I should think in the not to distant future

Recently went in here with my brother and father for the first time Mark and Nai took over, And we have been in there consistently since. Service with a smile and a brilliant local pub that looks after it's Patrons. Brilliant job guys

Nice pub, bartender was pretty abrupt, boardering on rude. Really ruined what was supposed be a relaxing evening after work.

Good host's,dog friendly,has a pool table in a large area with a great atmosphere and great beer garden. Friendly staff and customers. Back sports bar cold this time of year

Decent pub, good selection and most importantly very reasonable prices! Pint of lager + 1/2 a cider was sub £8. Beer garden is a fair size backing onto a bowling green, old school interior though the bathrooms could do with a bit of paint and de-webbing. Also looks like a bit of a damp problem in the gents, though all clean throughout. No food availability, other than standard crisps, pork scratching etc.

There isn't any food available but this is a friendly pub with great beer! Really welcoming and helpful, with a lovely beer garden. Easy to get to by public transport too.

The Crown has a great atmosphere and the landlord and landlady are always very pleasant and welcoming! They have a great range of Ales and other drinks to choose from! A lovely place to take your family or friends for a day or night out- great beer garden and a dog friendly place too 😃

Unpretentious drinkers pub with an excellent range of real ales. Friendly welcome. Dog friendly too.

Had to beckon the landlord over and apparently spoilt his chat he was having with his staff (no customers about). He then had the nark and wouldn't give me a drink until I said please!!!! Completely childish and not what I would expect from a landlord and especially at the extortionate prices that are being charged there. Pay more attention to your customers instead of just chatting the other side of the bar where it was completely empty and grow up! Wouldn't of been so bad but the drink wasn't even for me and my taxi had been waiting for 5 minutes because of this.

A great little find good size party room not massive but perfect from family get togethers of around 50 -60 , a nice outdoor seating area which extends your space on a good weather day , the staff a really friendly and helpful. In all a place to recommend.

Visit the crown regularly and have had the Thai food that has been newly offered. I had chicken green curry with rice and my partner had beef red curry with rice. Both absolutely delicious, very generous portions. The menu looks amazing and we will definitely order more! Very reasonably priced! Nai and Mark are also very kind and welcoming . Lovely people

My colleagues and I had the privilege of having a takeaway breakfast this morning from the Crown Pub. Unbelievably good food and great value for money. The King Breakfasts are great as pictured in the first image. Second image is the breakfast bap. Staff were very freindly and welcoming. Very good that you can pay by Cash or Card making it easy to pay too. 5/5 well worth a visit.

Stop off today my partner had bacon roll and I had a large bacon and egg roll was delicious Go support local pub for a nice take away

Little beer garden at the back and friendly locals and owners to chat to. Plus I good sized room with darts and pool, and sometimes live music at the weekends.

The new landlord has done a lot to this pub since my last visit about two years ago. The place looks lovely and I didn't realise the size of the place. Great venue for family events. Good luck! You deserve to succeed.

Good traditional pub atmosphere a thing lost to many venues these days. Whilst my visit was on a normal night i believe they also host very good theme nights.

Boots is the man. He made my misses feel totally at ease while arranging my 30th suprise party in there function room. The party itself was mega we had the pubs dj Nathan he done the job well and we couldn't fault the night we defiantly be coming back to see you guys very soon.
